Loved the location and the view from the patio. The rate was not bad for a three-night stay. We also got to see bears in the parking lot every morning and evening.

the room needs to be cleaned better. There needs to be some maintenance done on the room. There had been a water leak before and there was a large stain on the ceiling. The blinds on the patio door were torn up and told the office and took pictures and was told they would be fixed the first day and never was. The maid needs to pay closer attention to the walls also because in the bathroom was nasty, I had to clean it up.

Reception staff was awful.but the Manager saw what was going on and instantly stepped in. He was was absolutely top-notch! Pool was heated to 90 and felt relaxing. Excellent location next to Cherokee Grill which had one of the best cooked filets I've eaten and Nevad potatoes were incredible. Saw bear both nights at hotel, yeah!

Reception employees. We were also asked to leave pool at closing 10:30, no problem but at 11:15 a very loud party took over pool and when I called the person at front desk asked me what should she do about it, close pool because I didn't like noise? I said the pool closed 45 minutes ago! She told me she would 'try' and find someone. At 12:30 am the partying and laughter along with music continued.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Room was comfortable and located with a nice view of the stream that runs past it. They served a standard breakfast (scrambled eggs, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc) so we didn't have to go out to eat in the morning. It is also located right next to the Smoky Mountain Brewery which had some very good food (and beer) and Calhoun's, also a nice restaurant.

We did notice that it needed some sprucing up and minor repairs. The vanity light in our room was hanging by it's wires...something a few screws could have remedied. Wifi was not very good, but the hotel is surrounded by mountains so I assume that was the problem.

The room looked (and smelled) very clean. They had already turned our air conditioner on before we got there so we didn't walk into a hot stuffy room. We had a problem with our room keys on the second day..(they wouldn't open our door for some reason.) The front desk staff was very nice and gave us new cards immediately. We had our little dog with us so we frequented the little park area behind the hotel. We felt safe walking out there even at night. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit on the benches by the creek. We saw a BIG bear on our last night. He had brought a bag of trash with him and found a spot by the creek to sit down and go through it. 😄 We enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it.

Location! Very close to a variety of restaurants and attractions. We had a king size room on the first floor. There are other rooms with balconies that look over a small creek. Our room was a nice sized room with a hot tub, fireplace that worked, a small table with two chairs we could eat at and a desk. The bed was comfortable. It was chilly and the heater worked great. We could park right outside our room. We did see a bear in the parking lot one morning. Staff were friendly. We arrived early and they gave us a parking pass so we could park without paying. Would definitely stay again.

Outside and inside needs some updating. When we first arrived I was a little worried, so if you want a hotel that looks like it was just built ..this isn't for you. We ended up really enjoying our stay! This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and did not know what to expect. The roads can be very busy. Trash truck came about 2 am, but probably the only time they can get around. Parking is tight, wouldn't want to have a large truck or trailer.

Location Location Location!! Love this Place we will be back!! Prices are great!! Accommodations were great!! Employees were helpful!! My teenagers loved walking the strip every night!! Rooms were clean, beds comfy, cold AC!! Hot water was always HOT!! Saw a bear yay!!my dog was so happy with the nature area behind the hotel!!AWESOME!!

This isn’t a complaint.. it’s a great place!! Don’t expect the ritz.. it’s dated a bit.. but that is not a deal breaker!!

Room with balcony was nice. carpet was in great shape, no stains or rips. pillows were nice and fluffy. Bathroom was nice tub and shower. Bed was nice but wasn’t as soft as I had hoped. Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, cereals, bagels, waffles, coffee, juices, and fruit one day. oh, and yogurt.

Right off the street. Was busy with foot traffic and vehicles trying to get out. but it was nice to walk down one side of the street and back the other and right to the motel.

Quiet, lots of guests but a very peaceful property even with the amount of people. Great location, not in the middle of the gatlinburg strip, very easy to access from road.

Picked my own room on booking.com which showed it had a balcony, work desk ( not on a work trip but was expecting the desk so that i could do school and be comfortable while doing ), ended up just getting a room with two beds, a bathroom and a kitchen table ( which is very small and not at all easy to have my laptop open and have notebooks on ).

I loved the location and view.

The room we were in had a big hole in the wall. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. The trim was missing. The bathroom vanity was off line from the old vanity. The hallway had trim missing or falling off the wall. Just cosmetic stuff was the only problem I had. The night guy wasn't the most nicest but day time guy was awesome.

They did fix everything and it was very peaceful. It was close to down town within walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

We were told we would have a creek view but the concrete was below our room. We were also told that we needed to wait an hour to get in our room. So we did and got back 2 hours later. We got in our room no toilet paper, we had one towel ,one was cloth. They did make it right. Our room never got cleaned the whole time we were there.
