Location for us was superb as it was so close to the airport. Alas we were unable to access breakfast as we needed to leave by 6:00 a.m. for an earlier flight out. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Perhaps have muffins or something small for those who need to leave early in the morning before regular breakfast time.

This property really met our needs for airport proximity and public transportation. Rooms were clean and updated though the bathrooms could use some updating. Very adequate for our stay. The young ladies in the breakfast area were fabulous with customer service!! A “10” for them and a “10” for Florence!

Mostly the front desk service needs some coaching as to how to help out with questions etc. Better eye contact and a willingness to help. A lady named Florence who was in charge of marketing was a bright and shining star! Please thank her for her efforts!! Asking a question as to what is close and best way to Granville Island I was told by one young lady that they were a hotel and not a travel service. True statement. But when looking to get around in a strange area always good to get helpful insights and direction as possible!

Location is right across from Costco. I had just arrived from Perth, Australia and I needed a new SIM card so quickly walked to Costco and was immediately given a new phone number. The bed was so comfortable and I had an excellent sleep. The free shuttle is also excellent. The breakfast was plentiful. The staff are caring and thoughtful. I left my bag of jewellery on the night stand and was immediately notified. This jewellery was sent to me by priority post and I received it in a day. So much effort, the staff are wonderful. I also want to mention the fresh smell of the hotel.

The pre packed to go breakfast was excellent and a very much appreciated meal as we had to leave so early. The staff were very friendly. The shuttle driver who picked us up on our arrival at the airport was terrific and very helpful. The price was higher than we had hoped for and the cost of including our pet was not obvious at the time of our booking. However when I spoke to the desk clerk he did inform me of the additional cost. Great that there was an attached restaurant!

The price could have been lower and the neighbourhood was somewhat industrial. The hotel was noisy in that one could hear the water pipes and the rushing sound of of the toilets and the adjacent rooms' water activities. We were on the ground floor so we could here the people above us too.

Breakfast and staff were just excellent I asked for a late checkout today (Sunday the 26) because I have a zoom meeting from 10am til 11:45 and the staff seemed accomodating….We will be ready to leave at the end of the meeting right away Location is excellent… parking too…bath tub a bit difficult to get into because it is a soaker… is a hazard for short people There is black electrical tape visible on bedside light fixture

Superb location and convenience of easy free parking and airport shuttle bus. Really nice hot free breakfast with many varieties of foods and great coffee. Our two queen beds room was very spacious. Hotel building is obviously old but very clean and it has it’s own charm. I much prefer this type of hotel than modern high rise building. Our stay was very pleasant. Also great Chinese restaurant on site for dinner! We loved the food. And most of all the price is so very reasonable. I will definitely back to this hotel.

I chose to pay at the hotel but the hotel insisted to take photo copies of my credit card and driver’s license when I checked in. I felt very uncomfortable and try to refuse for security reason but front desk insisted because they told me it was requested by accounting department. I certainly did not like that at all. if I knew that I would have just paid at the time of booking.

Friendly staff team who was ready to assist with enquiries. The inn was situated at a convenient location with supermarkets nearby and restaurants next door. The complimentary airport shuttle and breakfast selection were great bonuses.

Soundproofing of the room could be improved. We were not aware till the day itself that we were allocated a ground floor room, which was adjacent to the carpark, so we had to keep the curtains drawn the entire day to prevent any onlookers. The locations of the power plugs were not as accessible.

My family and I were in Vancouver for a long layover. The Abercrombie was a great hotel that was close to the airport and provided a fast shuttle to the property. The rooms were clean, the beds were very cozy and the towels were so soft. Breakfast was included and it had a variety of options. Overall, the stay was very good. The location was great if you were wanting to stay near the airport, otherwise, it didn’t offer a lot around it regarding tourism.

Nothing. We had a good experience. The hotel was a little older. Reminded me of an older hotel you might find in Europe, which some people may not like. I enjoyed the ambiance.

This hotel has great character, from the mock Tudor design on the outside, to the Robert Burns tapestry and Scottish clans maps on the lobby walls. The double queen room was a good size and we appreciated the buffet breakfast. The hotel was conveniently located in Richmond only a 10 minute shuttle/taxi ride from Vancouver Airport and a few minutes walk from Richmond Station, which gave good access to downtown Vancouver.

No complaints about the property as a whole - it was excellent. In our room, the air conditioner was too noisy to use overnight, so that meant the room got quite hot, but it was not a huge issue overall.

Staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was great and the free shuttle service to the airport was a life saver. It's also close to the main transport hub of Bridgeport, easily accessible by Skytrain (downtown) and bus (ferry terminal). Check in and check out were very efficient. An unexpectedly delightful stay despite using it just for convenient access to the airport
