The hotel room is small but has everything you need. Bathroom is nicely designed with a good functional shower. Buffet breakfast was clearly the winner. There were chefs present who would slice sashimi for you on demand and make you pancakes and many more items.

The hotel is probably short of staff to handle the amount of guests. We had to wait over 20 mins for a table for breakfast and we got a queue number like many others who needed to wait outside the restaurant. Even extra pillows were on a first come first serve basis until they ran out because the ones provided were so flat and soft without any support to the neck. No one helped you with luggage. You were quite expected to do everything on your own after check in. Location is also a little off where the main attractions are.

In the same trip at Hakodate 3 nights; I stayed at 2 hotels which this hotel is the later one. I was so surprised on the breakfast buffet in a large and well decorated restaurant. I truly believed that for the breakfast here, it is exceptional as they offered variety of choices, tasty, and more over it's nicely decorated in detailed in each serving and in the buffet lines. The onsen also large and the roof top was very nice. To rank hotels in Hakodate; I would give this hotel as #1.

I cannot recall on what I don't like. May be the parking that we have to park at P2 that a bit far from the hotel building but anyway, it is just 3 mins walk and on the way to the morning market. Anyway, this place may consider a bit far from the Red Bricks Warehouse area but near to the morning market.

Breakfast was amazing. I love salmon roe and champagne (stayed during the new year). Also the onsen was great, big territory and some semi private space there too. The view was also beautiful. We had a city view with some seaside views as well. I am sure the mountain view is great too. The hotel is close to the sea and major restaurants and shopping river side. I recommend this hotel.

That onsen closes too early but it's not a big deal. Nothing to dislike. Maybe it would have been great to have more options for the dinner or lunch time but the hotel is close to the river side where are a lot of restaurants.

This very modern hotel is located very close to Hakodate station and overlooking the harbour. Our room was a good size and tastefully decorated and furnished and the beds were particularly comfortable. The highlight of the hotel for me was the baths, which were fantastic, particularly the open air outdoor bath with the chill wind whistling past and views over the town. The other highlight was the breakfast buffet, which offered all types of Japanese and western alternatives, and was one of the most comprehensive buffets I have seen during my travels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very reasonably priced hotel staffed by very pleasant and helpful people.

Due to big wind and snow in Hakodate, we did not get a chance to visit Mt. Hakodate, but spent most of time in hotel today. Fortunately we booked a Premier Delux Twin room on 12F, with good view and space, plus the nice facility to ensure we had a good stay in the city. 1. The hot spring is super nice. Starting from 14F, then extend to the roof on the 15F. With a good view on Mt. Hakodate and the harbor. 2. Breakfast is wonderful too. 3. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for you to stay here when visit Hakodate!

Around 500m from JR Station. It is definitely ok in good weather. A little challenging in big snow or you have big luggage. You can actually easily spend JPY 600 to hire a taxi to bring you to the Station, so not a big deal.

The location was fantastic & the hotel is new. It’s a busy hotel filled with tourists but it was nice that they had a higher category of rooms on one ‘royal floor’ which had bigger rooms with private in-room onsens. Pretty much every amenity is provided for in the room, from a well stocked complimentary minibar right down to dyson hairdryers, sleeping gowns & pyjamas, indoor & ‘outdoor’ slippers. The hotel encourages you to wear their pyjamas (super comfy) & slippers when wandering abt in the hotel, even going to breakfast in them which was super fun to do! The breakfast buffet is fantastic there too! Oh you can also borrow a special choice of pillow (25 different types to choose from) to use during your stay. Really enjoyed our stay there!

Because it’s a busy hotel, the lifts were a pain to wait for during peak hours. Very slow. Other than that everything is perfect.

The best part about Century Marina hotel was their generous and delicious breakfast buffet! Amazing choices from speciality Japanese dishes, even sashimi and sushi, to French delicacies and tempting pastries and desserts. I was also more impressed after realizing that we left a piece of clothing in the room and managed to find and recover it! The hotel mailed the item to our next destination. Such impeccable service. Everything. Breakfast - standout affair. In our 20+ trips to Japan staying at top joints across the country, their breakfast wins hands down in terms of the quality (focusing on excellent local produce), lavishness of its offerings, exquisite presentation (think individual portions of rice in ceramic containers in separate cloth pouches) and sparkling wine on top ! The rooms - great views of sea and mountain, smart and with very comfy beds and pillows. Onsen was great as well with natural spring water. Location was great - walking distance from Hakodate station.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is ideally located close to Hakodate’s train station. We walked from there in less than 10 minutes. Our twin room was spacious, with comfortable mattresses and pillows and lots of amenities (coffee, tea, water, kettle, iron, safe, etc.). The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast on offer had a huge selection that was fresh and tasty. The spa on the rooftop was very special.

The motion sensory light at the entrance of the room was too sensitive and went on too often.

The hotel boasts the perfect location, just a 5-minute walk from Hakodate train station and a 5-10 minute walk from the cable car station, offering easy access to anywhere in the city. The breakfast buffet offers an array of choices, too numerous to sample in a single meal. My room was incredibly spacious and offered a beautiful view of Mount Hakodate. I absolutely adore this hotel.
