Convenient to get to and from Hiroshima Station-close to tram stop Location is excellent in general-walking distance to Peace Park and Honduri Street and tram stop (same as above) is the one that goes straight to Miyajami ferry Welcoming check in and everything explained Staff are friendly but one female member should stop making video calls while working on the desk…loud for the hostel even during the day and not professional Clean bathrooms overall-saw them being cleaned Safe and secure

Didn’t answer email prior to arrival Hair items like hairdryers (although welcomed) shouldn’t be in the kitchen area even with limited space Unless duvets are washed after every guest, the cover shouldn’t have a gap in it. It should cover the duvet completely. Bit of smell about the place but think this is due to the building in general Cold showers

There is a very spacious and well equipped kitchen area if you want to make your own food. The lounge has enough space to hang out in, and I met many friendly people there during my stay. From the dormitories, you can hardly hear it even if people are talking in the lounge, I found the dormitory quiet (apart from the sound of the air conditioner) and comfortable. My travel there was delayed by a few days due to a typhoon and they were able to accommodate the change in booking dates for no extra fee. There are deals offered on long term stays. Located near main tram lines and a short walk to main attractions.

Local and international volunteers/long term stayers operate the hostel day to day, not the owner. They are friendly and professional but the international volunteers might not know as much about the area nor speak much Japanese. The kitchen isn't air conditioned so it makes cooking a little uncomfortable in Summer (the lounge and bedrooms are air conditioned though).

Was in a really nice area of Hiroshima - close to the city center to walk if you want to have a healthier option but also had local trams running very close by for those who aren't too interested in walking everywhere. The staff were really nice and the place was pretty clean overall - LOVED that they also had a bowl of usb adaptors for you to borrow as well as umbrellas. Overall a really decent accomodation for the price.

The AC was useless in the female dorm, it was super strong but only pointed directly into the first 4 bunks - they needed to provide fans for the far ones as the ac just wasn't reaching that area and meant I found sleeping a struggle because it was absolutley boiling - like 30 degrees in bunk 7 and 8. Had to resort to cooling myself with a hand fan midway through the night. The problem is I know they couldnt turn it down too far because the front bunks would then become freezing because of how the AC is installed. Other parts of the hostel also didnt have AC - so the showers and kitchen were like walking into a sauna - These all arent issues if you aren't travel in the summer months though ^^

This hostel is located within blocks of Peace Memorial Park. It was clean and tidy and quiet. The bunk room beds are comfortable and all the bedding very clean and fresh. Do keep in mind this is a “shared” sleep experience as there will be 10 other people in the room. The check in staff and owner were very kind and helpful. The kitchen is complete and a big space. The bathrooms were clean, as were the showers, and shampoo was provided.

It wasn’t easy to get up and down off the top bunk as an older person (no railing to hold onto or pull up or down on and the ladder is very narrow) so try and reserve a lower bunk when booking.

Common space and kitchen were big. Staff seemed nice and chatty. Check in was easy. Shower was good. They provide a lot of info of things to do in area. Location was really good in terms of things to do around. Air con was temperamental first night I was boiling second night I was freezing -could be someone changing the temps I don’t know. They stored bags.

Far from station, need to take a bus there. Pillows were really bad I used my duvet as a pillow instead. Mattress was okay. I did not like the ladder it was difficult to get up and down. Not much room in bedrooms for bags.

The employees are very knowledgeable, they helped us find the city and recommended restaurants. The beds are very comfortable and there is room for all things. A very pleasant shower, there is always hot water. There are personal lockers in the lobby for valuable equipment

The lobby is up a small flight of stairs without an elevator. Not really a problem but important to know

Very foreigner friendly, nice staff and excellent location. Kevin, a member of their staff also made some calls in japanese for us, so that was quite helpful!!

The covers/blinds in front of the cubes are so thin that they’re basically seethrough, so if anyone has their cubicle light on at night it can be a bit irritating, so i recommend having eye masks😅 Other than that, great location!

The location is perfect. That’s was the reason why I chose it and was only staying for one night in Hiroshima. The hostel is okay, for a night or 2 max. Close to the tram way, the station is only a 25 min walk in any case.

The bathroom, shower and hostel could be a bit cleaner. Not the end of the world, wasn’t terrible, but could certainly improve. For example when I got there, the lower bunk bed where I was staying had maps of the city, so makes me wonder to what extent they cleaned the bed/bed area.

The receptionist Conrad did a great job, sharing advise, making everyone feel welcome and making guests connect with each other. Great value for the money with regards to the facilities. Very good wi-fi.

In an ideal world free towels and no need for the guest to make the beds themselves. But for the price I still think it is 10/10.
