The view was great. The window opened to allow for the sea breeze and the curtains could fully open. It was close to the Port Liner train stop and 2 stops from the heart of the city. There was a gym on site, if so desired. A family mart next door. The rooftop was great to sit at the tables into the evening and watch the sun go down, the planes fly in and out, and the sea port activities. The staff were so polite and spoke a little English. The laundry was easy to use with free laundry liquid. Coat hangers in the room to hang damp clothes. A comfy bed. Quiet soundproof rooms - Other than the bathrooms. All amenities avail, so there is no need to pack bathroom stuff A decent size bath. You could adjust the lighting to suit your needs

The lack of food choices at the onsite restaurant as a vegetarian and flour free eater, though this is Japan in general. The port work started at 4.30 am, so if you are not an early riser, if on the view side, be prepared for trucks and clanging in the very early mornings. The road style lights of the driving school, on the view side, were on into the night if you don't want to close your curtains or want a dark room. The drier takes forever, 60 mins is not enough for a very small load and doesn't appear to run hot...

The views of the Kobe Harbour were stunning. Our room was always cleaned so well. The staff at the front desk was happy, polite and informative. They suggested restaurants and stores to us when we asked and they were a hit!!! We loved ending our day on the roof top with a cold beverage and a chicken snack from the Family Mart located right next door to the hotel!

We didn't use the fitness facilities because it was a 1000¥ per day surcharge. I think the use of that facility should have been included in the price.

Great breakfast.& Dinner experience. A good location once you sorted out transport to and from...The hotel really needs to give good directions from the JR station-the change of trains & how to get to hotel from the local train stop..as initially its all very complicated. The staff in the restaurant were superb, & the food was good! We met some locals in a lunchtime restaurant who told us about the famous castle in a town 20 mins away by train...this was worth the experience. Amazing!

Our most expensive daily hotel rate over our 2 week Japan experience! (Like 2-3 times dearer!) Yes we didn't mind paying for it on special occasion, if the hotel provided that extra quality and service. (New Year celebration- but Kobe had no fireworks or major celebrations that we were made aware of.) View from roof top was good but very basic!

The restaurant had a beautiful view of the harbour! The food was absolutely delicious. The best was so comfortable. The most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever had it was amazing!

The fitness centre usage wasn’t included in the price! We were so excited to use it and then we’re told it was an extra 1000Yen per use! Absolutely ridiculous! It was also a little out of the way! There wasn’t much around but it was an easy walk to the train station to go into Kobe.

Friendly staff - they happily allowed us to store our luggage even after check-out. Clean and spacious room and bathroom with nice view, only complaint is that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Rooftop restaurant had an amazing of Kobe Harborland + tasty desserts. The staff served us dessert even though they had technically stopped the food service at that time - very kind of them! It was easy to get to the hotel from Sannomiya by train (portliner).

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The location was easy to get to, but a part of the surrounding area wasn’t ideal if you like to walk around.

Nice hotel onsen, very good restaurant (both for dinner and breakfast) with a good view of the sea and the city. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Walkable distance to the International conference center.

There's literally nothing around, but if you're there for a conference (the conference center is within a walking distance) or are prepared to go to the city by train, it's not a problem.

Excellent value for a room with a view over the bay towards the Kobe skyline and mountains. Rooftop terrace was a lovely place to watch the sun set and enjoy some evening breezes. The location is convenient—only a few stops from Sannomiya station on the Port Liner—without being right in the middle of everything. The room had all the amenities, and there’s a restaurant in the hotel and a convenience store right downstairs. Will definitely consider staying again if in the Kobe area.

The view to the city from the roof garden was nice. The breakfast was hood, also expensive. Thes SPA, and restaurant are also good.

The location. It was in the island and I booked it to be close to the Kobe university and conference center, but it was not really close snd you needed to walk znd take the train. Basically you could stay in thd city center close to train station and reach them by same train faster. In general, expensive

The hotel is close to perfect for me. It opened in December 2021 so it is brand new and extremely functional. The room is massive and although the bathroom is not huge, it is well thought and super clean. No carpet on the floor so it is much more hygienic. I booked a room with a harbour view and it was worth it. However, nothing compares to the incredible view you will get from the rooftop, it is a must anytime of the day, make sure you enjoy the view from there ! There is a big and well furnished Famima right under the hotel and, unlike what the grumpy reviews make it seem like on Google Maps, I found it perfect.

The hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere. For two days it was fine but be advised you loose a good 20 minutes anytime you have to go back to the city (Sannomiya). That part of Port Island also appeared to be an industrial place with nothing much around. It is close to the Portliner while actually being 10 minute away from Naka Koen station (by the way, be advised to take the bridge going through (!) the building when exiting the station as it saves traffic light waiting time coming back to the hotel !). I also found it ludicrous not to put light-blocking blinds in a country where the sun rises between 4h30 and 6h30 !

Room was spacious and equipped with comfortable chairs, and good coffee. A nice of Kobe skyline and the trainstation to the city center was close by (less then 10 minuten walking) and the train went often.

Even though our room was on the 6th Floor, We were woken up in the morning by loud noises in the neighbourhood. I suspect that the noises were of the businesses and harbour work nearby, but it was annoying.
