A elegant kyoto-style place to stay ! The hotel was near the kyoto city subway station "Gojo" exit 1. However, if you carry the luggages to hotel, exit 6 with elevator is preferred.

The hotel is too new that the taxi driver could not find the hotel on his GPS. You can show the hotel location on Google Maps and he will understand it.

Clean and modern. Spacious rooms and common areas. Loved the communal bathhouse & guest lounge. Love the technology of info being viewable on your room tv, like when the washing machine is free to use.

Need to keep on top of restocking guest lounge in the busy times. Coffee machine was always out of milk in the evening.

upon entering the hotel you feel you arrived to a nice place. The room is well appointed and comfortable, simple & pleasant. Meticulously clean. Great shower. The staff is super welcoming, patient & helpful. In the hotel there is a wonderful Onsen (public bath), a gym and a free refreshments set up. The location, although it is not right at the epicenter of tourist attractions, is just 4 minutes walk from the subway station (1 station away from Kyoto station), and within a not too long a walk from the action.

If you are sensitive to noise, ask for an inside room - not facing the main street.

Property was really new, ground floor lobby was really nicely designed and decorated. Check-in process was amazing. Sit down, have a drink while they come to you with tablets for check-in. Nice departure from the usual queuing at the check-in counter. Rooms were spacious enough. Luggage transfer from Yamato was already in my room. Baby cot as requested was set up. Amenities were great and they even included a toothbrush set and bathroom slippers for children. Basement floor houses the public baths and a refreshment lounge with drinks and snacks. Very thoughtful and well-maintained space. We will be back if we visit Kyoto again!

The hotel is around a 15/20 minute walk to the Kawaramachi area close to many restaurants and shopping areas. The breakfast was one of the nicest we had in Japan with both Japanese and Western options. We were offered a drink and snack upon arrival, and there were also free snacks and soft drinks, which was a nice touch. The hot bath was also lovely and very clean.

The only thing I'd like to mention is the entrance and decor of the hotel are all quite dark, but I guess that's a matter of personal taste. On another note, we wanted restaurant recommendations and were surprised that the staff were not knowledgeable about restaurants in the area. The lady we asked opened google and started searching there, whereas we were hoping that she would have some local recommendations.

The hotel is very stylish. It combines Japanese culture with modern facilities. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a free bath in the hotel with all the facilities needed. Nice bonus is the chill area with free snacks. Location is good, close to the metro station (but don’t believe to Google maps and take Exit 5 instead of 1 if you don’t want to have an unplanned workout with your luggage). I saw many bad reviews about breakfast, but as for me Japanese style breakfast is rather good, nutritious and healthy. Our room was not that small as it could be, so we were able to keep 2 suits opened. We really liked the stay at the Kyoto Blossom and would definitely recommend it for staying in.

The price these days was 2.5 times higher than other dates. If to book this property at a normal price, it would be definitely the best value for money.

Clean & comfortable hotel with helpful staff. the public bath was great place to relax after a long day out. We enjoyed the lounge after our bath, with free flow of ice cream, drinks, biscuits & chocolate.

Could have provided a more detailed direction map for guests coming from Gojo Station. Google Map directed us to use Exit 1 which has no elevator! We have to carry our heavy luggages up numerous flights of stairs. Those with heavy luggages, do use Exit 5 with elevator but will need to walk a further distance to reach the hotel, about 10min, which to me is better than carry heavy luggage up the stairs!

Our stay at The Blossom has been nothing short of fantastic. A truly comfortable home away from home. All amenities you could require are at your finger tips. A modern Japanese styled hotel with a high quality finish this hotel was extremely relaxing to stay in and one of the best value for quality hotels we've stayed in across the world. The basement lounge was a lovely tranquil touch and the baths spacious and peaceful. Staff were warm and welcoming whilst also very attentive. Great location a short walk from the subway and a 15-20 minute walk to Pontocho/Gion/Nishiki market. I will stay here again on returning to Kyoto and recommend all who come here do too. We didn't have an opportunity to try the restaurant but it looked enticing and always smelled good, we will make time for it on our next trip.

We really enjoyed the awesome design here. The room was modern, comfortable and the shower spacious. The entrance of this hotel blew us away. The lounge for guests is awesome. The entertainment system - although hardly ever used during our trip since there are so much better things to do - was also really nice. You could just add your own streaming accounts and use the Services like you were at home.

Although there is an Onsen, it's not allowed to go there with tattoos - I understand and respect that this is very common in Japan but I wouldn't necessarily expect this rule at a hotel with international guests. The bed was almost too hard for us, it was the hardest one we experienced so far within Japan. It was still ok so we didn't ask if it is possible to get a softer one.

Very friendly and nice staff, welcome drink, they took the luggage to the room bc we arrived before check-in time and went out, nice room with big shower, tv with netflix, free water everyday. Overall we really liked the hotel. The staff is worth 5 stars

No complaint about the hotel itself. It was really nice but the location is not that good. It's in-between the train station and the city. It's not far away and you can walk but during summer it's just too hot and then you are dependent on public transport.
