Nice breakfast buffet. Cocktail lounge was available in the afternoons and evenings. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and almost new. Very good service and good level of English of the staff for foreigners. They had a small gift for us as it was our Honeymoon trip.

We do not understand the new slogan that show some hotels: “we are sustanaible” and therefore we have reduced the amenities and also the cleaning of the rooms… but the HVAC is working at max power in the breakfast. One of the days our room was not clean when we arrived in the evening but it was resolved by the mgmt shortly, but we found the toilet was not clean enough with hairs on the floor (it was the last day and we did not say anything). It is well located, close to Gojo metro station, but perhaps not the best location in Kyoto. Rooms are small in our opinion but not so small as other Japanese hotels. Breakfast shows a large variety of products but in our opinion quality could be improved (ie. juices or the pastries).

Check in was very slow (more than half an hour). Very expensive food shop on the premises - similar goods are available for a fraction of the price at the convenience shop across the road.

Hotel location is good, near subway station, many cafe and small restaurants around. A 10-min walk to Nishiki Market where you get anything you like :), food, souvenirs, sneakers etc. 1 subway station + walk to Gion area where one can enjoy the scene of old town Kyoto :)

nope. the room is rather spacious and clean, amenities are good. mattress is a bit too soft for me, but it's comfy.

The room have sleek design on them. Very modern kind of Japanese design. Check in took about 15 minutes and the receptionist is very welcoming and letting us know where to shop and eat nearby while waiting for the room to be cleaned. The hotel provided additional service by providing a huge hairdryer instead of a small kind which takes hours to dry. As well as they provide Japanese style clothes for you to sleep on which is super comfortable!

The room is slightly small which queen bed is given instead of a king size bed

Hotel had tour buses staying every night, made breakfast between 7 and 8.30 a nightmare. Food was often cold or would run out quickly, staff were doing their best but for the price it was a bit underwhelming.

Nice rooms, good breakfast. Reception and concierge deliver excellent service for booking diner reservations. Public transport in front of hotel Restaurants and shopping mall/ Nishiki Market within 10 min a walking distance

Windows in room can not open, but they provide a humidifier in each room.

Clean new green and friendly staff especially Florent. He gave us ideas of things to see during our stay. He was very very friendly and lovely. Wonderful breakfast!
