Excellent value for money and we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very clean, and our room felt enormous (especially after getting used to small Tokyo standards). Location is convenient - one subway stop away from Kyoto station and many bus routes nearby. This is in a slightly quieter part of town but still just a 10-15 min walk away from the downtown/shopping area. They provided drink tickets for the downstairs bar every night, which was a nice bonus. We did not buy breakfast with the room - there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, as well as a Komeda’s coffee (which provides a small free breakfast with purchase of a beverage) just down the street. Others have complained about availability of laundry machines but this was not an issue for us. I also appreciated that there was an option to pay for laundry with Suica card!

I was a little disappointed that the bath/sauna facilities were only open in the morning and evening. As we were staying in the middle of July, there were a few days that we only went out in the morning and evening, and rested inside the hotel in the afternoon during peak heat hours. It would have been nice to have those facilities available in the afternoon.

Very modern design leaves nothing out. From the moment of check in, you know you are in good hands. The rooms are well appointed and nightly complimentary drink at the DJ bar is a nice touch. The property boasts both a steam sauna and different hot bath spa alternating days for men and women.

For some reason, check in is at 5 pm, but not to worry, you can drop off the bags and spend the day touring. The upside of this is that check out is also rather late at 2 pm

Very well placed , super modern and very comfortable

You guys need to do something with employees level of English. If you are an hotel and most of your host are from abroad please you need to have employees that speak English properly. Also the fact of uploading all of the family members passports just to lie the check in doesn’t make sense. We are a family of 5 , I understand my wife and I to upload the passport but why the hell my 5,9 or 10 years old kids need to upload and complete that process. They are minors

The location is good for sightseeing and walking around the hotel easily. Rooms are spacious and so comfortable for sleeping. The staff were really helpful during check-in and helped us to send our luggage to the next hotel. we are a big family who came here with 18 people we requested a room to connect or close together the hotel are provide that the best.

The room was spacious and modern. We also loved that the TV had regularly updated status reports of the capacity of the communal bath and saunas downstairs so we wouldn't have to go down and be turned away. the view wasn't much to look at, but the room was quiet and we had a restful stay. I also liked that there were store to grab a quick bite nearby and it was right on the subway line too. we didn't have the breakfast, but had a nice cocktail in the evening when we got back from our day of exploring. The bar was chic and spacious and the service was kind and thoughtful.

It wasn't great to check in at 5 pm -- that's much much later than most hotels I've stayed at... we just arrived in the afternoon and were hoping to rest a bit before walking around. It was handy that they had self-service closet to lockup our suitcases. this is a great idea and one that I hope to see in more hotels. The face recognition key thing was an interesting gimmick, but ultimately not very practical if it meant having to remove my glasses and mask every time I wanted to get into the room AND have to try several times to get it to work. i ended up using my key card instead most of the time.

The hotel was in a good location with walking distance of the shopping area and the Gion district. There were several grocery stores and a subway station near the hotel. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and a good size. The onsen with modern twist of the downstairs was a soothing and comfortable addition to the stay. The service was friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast, but the hotel's restaurant offered delicious food, although it was a bit pricey. The hotel offered one free drink every day to its guests.

The hotel was located along a busy road and because of this, the room on the road side was quite noisy at times.

Great hotel perfectly located in Kyoto to reach everything you could want to go to. Local shrines are only a few minutes away by foot, there's both a bus and a train station a few minutes away and there are drug stores and super markets almost directly next to the hotel. The room was spacious with great beds and a pretty huge tv. The greatest thing for me about the room was the shower. Usually you have a bath/shower combination, but here you have a huge overhead shower, which I much prefer. They also have a public bath and sauna. I especially liked the sauna. Highly remommended. If I'm ever in Kyoto again and they have rooms available I'll look no further. They also have a bar with a I've dj playing in the evenings when I was there.

We stayed here for 6 nights - first they put us in a room with an opaque window. When I asked to change rooms they immediately gave us another room with a normal window. The onsen was great. The hotel is very clean and staff is excellent. Very good location!

The room had limited storage space. Maybe it’s more of a business hotel for short stays, would make sense. The storage that is there is in low cupboards, not super practical for aging westerners. The bathroom is black which also is not great for aging westerners. The onsen and sauna were open on alternate days for men and women, I prefer the onsen so not great. Breakfast was not great, better value in independent coffee shops.

A great hotel, what impressed me the most was the staff. They tried to accommodate every request & were speedy in helping us out. When clothes came out, not fully dried from the machines, they got it sorted for us immediately. The room was big and modern ...perfect for my teenage son but a little complicated for me. Location was excellent. A plus point for me was how the bathroom/toilet/sinks were set up. It was time efficient as they were all separate, and we could get ready fast. I especially would like to thank Reina, who was wonderful.

The lighting in the room was again modern, and though the lighting near the mirrors looked amazing, it was impractical & I had difficulty to put on make up everyday. The laundry machines badly need upgrading as well. The staff really helped out when my clothes didn't dry in time as we were checking out the next day. But I we would still return.

It is a perfect hotel, located one metro station from Kyoto Central Station (approx. 700 m away). From this hotel, you can quickly get to the attractions in Kyoto. There is also very easy access to the metro Karasuma Line and to Hankyu Railway. The staff is very kind and polite. The food is very good. From 18:00 to 22:00, there is a live DJ program. The hotel clients have a free drink between 18:00 and 22:00. Also, the sauna and bath are very good. As result in 2026 when I will visit again Kyoto I will stay at the same hotel.

The only issue with this hotel is that it doesn't have a wardrobe in the room. But this was true of all the hotels in Japan where I stayed. There are only five hangers in the room for clothes (shirts, etc.). So, you must organize your baggage well during your stay. But this is only a minor issue for me.
