Staff were very hospitable. Their service was beyond my expectations. We stayed for 2 nights only. Hotel is 5 to 7 minute walk from Matsumoto Station. Instructions given by the concierge were very clear. We added breakfast for 2 days and our parents were very happy. On our last night, we just bought some bento meals from Family Mart and consumed the foods at the hotel. The staff allowed us to eat at the breakfast venue so that it would be easier for us to get free cups of water and coffee. The onsen experience was also outstanding. It was our parents' first time to experience natural hot spring in Japan. Last but the best thing that I want to commend is when we lost our son's pair of rubbershoes and the staff was able to find it in the hotel. They volunteered to send it to our friend's location in Tokyo free of charge. We are really grateful for their excellent service.

I had a queen room single use with breakfast. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and pj's and slippers were provide along with amenities (toothbrush, razor, swabs, green tea). The rooftop public bath had indoor and outdoor waters. Popsicles were provided in the afternoon and a probiotic drink in the morning for my post-bath consumption. Location is great - less than 5 mins from train station (can see hotel sign in the distance from the station) and about 10 min walk to Matsumoto Castle. Good selection available at breakfast. Staff are welcoming and helpful. I had my luggage forwarded to the hotel and it was in my room when I arrived, along with small sweet treat in the fridge.

Would have liked another towel but one smallish towel seems to be the standard in Japan.

Very clean hotel with a great and helpful staff. Great location close to train and bus station and close by foot to all the important sites. Top floor Onsen was an unexpected surprise. Beautifully maintained and relaxing. A great introduction to Onsen for our family. Great breakfast with lots of variety.

Rooms were worn but clean. More room options for bigger groups would be welcomed. Beds were good but the pillows were stones. Very uncomfortable.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Luggage transfer from this hotel to my next destination was easily make. Hotel’s gave free ice cream & free supper. A good surprised after a long day of travel. Breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food that was tasty and nutritious.

The room was large enough to open my luggage in, which is pretty good for a business hotel. The onsen was great and they put my luggage in my room after receiving it for me. Good number of freebies like noodles at night were appreciated. Breakfast buffet selection was great as well. Location was near enough to the station and they do Takkyubin for luggage as well~

Everything was perfect : - very beautiful onsen with free milk or ice cream depending on when you go ; - free laundry and cheap dryer ; - close to touristic center ; - free soba at the evening. I recommend 100%.

Another Dormy Inn great stay! Well priced, comfortable room that was a good size for a Japanese hotel. Breakfast was a terrific buffet and they had the famous Dormy Inn midnight ramen was terrific. Close to attractions and transport, and a friendly staff.

Good location on the main avenue, at equal distance to the station and the castle, close to many restaurants and shops. The onsen is a positive addition, altough it did not include a sauna and a cold bath. Good service at the reception desk.

It is only a 5-minute walk from the train station, provided little extras like popsicles and ice cream next to the onsen, and ramen at night for a snack. The onsen was great, breakfast was a wonderful combination of Western and Japanese foods
