Located right in the heart of the city and an easy walk from the train station. The hotel is walking distance to the main tourist sights and surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel was well appointed and the staff went above and beyond to help us book a private onsen experience. The cafe downstairs made breakfast super easy and accessible.

The double standard room has just that - a double bed - and a very, very firm one at that!

The location was great and check-in was easy. The staff were very helpful. My room had a great view of the mountains and it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and both the mini fridge and water kettle were nice to have.

The room was small, and generally ok for me, but I can't imagine two people in the room or having more luggage. The coffee in the room was not good. The hand soap in the bathroom had an extremely strong perfume scent and wish they would have something unscented. Thankfully, I always bring some of my own hand soap for this reason.

Standard hotel. Nothing massively stands out apart from the location. It’s very close to the station and to the castle. There’s a restaurant downstairs where a robot serves you. That was pretty cool.

If you get a room at the back of the building and open the window (like I like to do when sleeping), the noise really does travel. Karaoke at 2am was too much

Staff were simply excellent - welcoming and professional. The hotel itself was much nicer than I expected, our room was lovely and the location was brilliant. Car park attendants were very friendly and helpful and it was wonderful to have access to parking in the centre of the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was a little less clean than it could have been. It's a small thing but always a little squicky to see stray hair from a previous guest.

Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy, free wifi was good, amenities were nice to have, towel service was good. Location was situated close to the station and within walking distance.

Did not have many charging points close to the bed and did not have universal charging ports.

Room and bathroom clean, bed was comfortable. Liked the breakfast buffet which offered continental selection. Good location.

Aircon was a bit noisy and also the fridge, which should have had a cover door like other hotels to limit the noise. Limited space for storing clothes but ok for short stay.

The room was spacious enough. The beds comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the station (3 min walk) and walking distance to major attractions (the castle, the frog street etc). Ended up extending 1 night my stay and there was no issue.

Everything was good, nothing to dislike. If I came back to Matsumoto I'd stay in the same hotel.

The hotel was in a good location (near the train and bus station). The room was fairly spacious, and super clean.

The price was a bit too high for my taste. Ideally breakfast should have been included in the price. I paid less in Tokyo with breakfast included, and similar facilities. To add, the price for the breakfast was also expensive.

Staff speak good English, very good breakfast only cost 1200. Room lights are highly intelligent controlled, TV screen provides many information.

Bathroom is too small.

The hotel was at the center of the city so it's much easier to come to different destinations. There are lots of shops & restaurants along the streets. They had their own car parking area and not the usual parking, we amazed with that. The staffs can speak Japanese & English, they were nice & friendly too. Our room was clean & cozy, and we really enjoyed the breakfast.
