The owner is a really friendly, relaxt and helpful person. The hostel has cozy bar and area to relax, which was a really nice place to relax or eat your food and hang around. We didn't expect the showers to be that good, very hot, clean and relaxing. Very important: everything and every room in the building was really clean! We also expected the hostel to be really noisy because of all the wood, fortunately that was not the case at all. It is organized in such a way that guests who want to sleep can sleep and those who want to chat until late can do so, the owner does his best to make it comfortable for each guest. There is a soundproof door downstairs. Very big supermarket and metro station around the corner :) And I was very happy with the hot water dispenser in the kitchen so I could make tea. We stayed four nights but wish we had more time to chill in the hostel. The vibe is really good.

It felt a bit difficult to connect with the other guests in the hostel, it seemed like a more established (French) group that claimed their own corner in the hostel, I think they sit or work there for a longer period of time. It would have been great if an activity had been organized to connect with other guests, such as a game night perhaps (it was a bit hidden that you could game on an old console). This group was often very loud in the late hours, but if the door downstairs was closed properly you could hardly hear them at all. I didn't see the cat! :(

This is such a hidden gem as it's not in close to the city center but it's definitely worth visiting! The MRT takes you to Namba ans Umeda stations in 10-15 minutes and in the meantime you can enjoy absolutely amazing hostel and it's surroundings. The staff speaks great english (I've met english and french staff) and they gave me map of the area after my arrival with cool tips where to go, what to see, where to eat and so on. The vibe of this place was exceptional with drawings from previous host all over the walls, great places to hang out, nice offer of drinks at the bar and mostly - with the best Japanese experience possible = KOTATSU! Who doesn't know what that is, come here and try it on your own - you will want one of your own too afterwards <3 You can see that the owner made everything possible to make the stay pleasurable, easy and exceptional for everyone. It's hard to describe all the great stuff you get when you stay here so just do it and try it on your own.

Such a nice hostel with so much character! The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating and it is a very friendly social atmosphere. We got to hang out with the resident cat, and the staff had plenty of recommendations of things to see and do in Osaka. While it is a little bit out of the city centre the neighbourhood is very trendy and nice to walk around. The hostel is very close to the subway and a convenience store, so everything was still easy to get to. The hostel has a bar and the staff speak very good English. I will 100% stay here again next time I am in Japan! Highly recommend! Thanks for the stay Tomo!

Lower deck bed is too low. I'm not tall but I can't even sit straight on the bed. You have to be very careful when waking up and standing you might hit your head.

The combination of all the artwork on the walls with the traditional Japanese building made this a memorable accomadation. The staff was very friendly and helped us with our bags when we first arrived. The hostel is in a neigboorhood that has a very relaxed vibe, with lots of cool little restaurants to explore.

The atmosphere in this hostel was very welcoming. Shared spaces were really nice and bravely decorated. Genuinelly traveller-friendly place where you can meet likeminded people. Special love to Nathalie and Tomo!

Noise from traffic could be heard throughout the night/early morning. Nothing that a pair of earplugs wouldn't fix though!

The hostel felt very homely and had a warm atmosphere. The drawings and art on the walls, the café and bar downstairs, and the friendly staff created a laid-back and fun environment. I think Air Osaka hostel is good for people who are artsy, young, or young-at-heart.

It is not as close to the center of Osaka as I would have liked (although not too far) - about a 5-10 min walk to the train station and a 10 min train ride to the center.

Great, kind and helpful staff. Great for single traveler. The rooms are quite small but given the price, I feel it's very reasonable. If you are looking for an unusual experience, this is the place!

The rooms are rather small, so if you have a lot of luggages, you may want to ask the staff to help store it somewhere else other than your room.

1 location is awesome, although far from city center but it's only hundreds metres to subway station and you can go city centre about 20m by subway. I attended Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2023 at INTEX OSAKA, there is very close to INTEX too. 2 very cheap 3 a traditional Japanese house, provide me a memorable experience. 4 English OK

It was good enough for what I paid for. About as average as you could get - that said, the staff are very knowledgeable of the area, and super friendly - I'll likely come back to this hostel in the future.

The location was a bit far from everything, but I don't mind walking around!
