We had an amazing time at Ostay Vermillion. After the train from the airport, there was no elevator at the other side of shin immamiya station so we took a taxi instead which was a better choice because we have huge luggages. We paid about 1000 yen. The place was perfect for us, and we communicated with the staff via whats app. A short walk to Immamiya station which is our go to, for all the places we want to visit in Osaka. There is a Lawson downstairs. For 6 days we brought our trash downstairs which is an easy task. Towels were changed once. It would be nice if there is a free cleaning service at least once for the 6 days stay. Good thing Im ok with cleaning. We loved the sofa with table an throwpillows, so we can eat or hang around before and after our trips, instead of laying immediately on our beds. The rooms have doors so it can be private. I like the small plastic chair in the bathroom where I can sit while bathing. There is bath tub. Complete set of kitchenware and washing machine wtih free detergent. Hang your wet clothes at the bathroom and it will be dry overnight because they have drier in there. We have enough space for the 5 of us. The place was clean, and I hope they would keep it that way so we can come back. There is a very good ramen place called Kappa ramen near by. I hope there would a be a supermarket walking distance by the place. We didn't check, but maybe you need a taxi to get there or train. I like the floor. I don't like carpeted floors at hotels because I am sure they are dirty. Good thing their floor is not carpeted, my toddler liked crawling by the floor after a long day, so I hope they clean it well. There is a not shoes in the room policy. I hope all would be diligent doing that, because our shoes carry lots of germs from outside. I notice that Asians do leave their shoes outside which is a good practice. They have free slippers but very thin tho for 6 days. Would be nice to have a bit stronger slippers.

Just for improvement. Wish there was a free cleaning even once for 6 days stay. One mirror for doing make up maybe. We are glad to have booked this place. :)

Clean and accommodating. We were able to check in early, before they make sure the place was clean.

Just situated around industrial place, but close enough to JR station. 3-5 minutes walk. It could have been better if there's restaurants around. But there's a gem close like 300-500 meters away, a ramen place called Kappa.

The room is pretty spacious. We were 5 adults and 1 kid and can move around freely. We also have 7 big luggage and there's room for it. The property is about 500 meters away from the train station, about 5 mins walk which is okay since you do a lot of walking when you're in Osaka anyway. We will definitely stay here the next time. - super close to most places (USJ was 25 min away, Dotonbori/Namba was 1 station away, etc.) - Lawson in front - near a good Ramen shop (Kappa Ramen Hompo Kojo) & other nice homey restaurants (around 5-10 minute walk) - near the train station (Imamiya & Daikucho) - near a big Daiso - beds were comfy - hassle free check in process - very communicative host and easy to reach - van rental to airport

- check in is 4pm which is very late compared to other accommodations (they said it's because it needs to be cleaned but when we left our luggages around 1pm, it seems like it has already been cleaned and we could have checked in already and did not have to wait for hours outside) - no cleaning/housekeeping everyday - no new towels (they said only after 3 days) - no indoor slippers despite asking guests to remove shoes before coming inside - no person at the lobby

The apartment was clean and spacious by Japan's standards. Came with amenities such as washing machine, microwave oven, kettle and hairdryer. The place also provided laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, shower foam, shampoo and conditioner. Basically, all the needed stuff for a family to stay in. Beds were comfortable as well. Staff respond fast via the communication method provided so it's good as well. That said, it's self-check in with no staff onsite at the venue. The place is 5 mins walk from Imamiya Station (Osaka loop line).

Might be helpful to know that the place would not be cleaned during the stay. If you need cleaning, it's separately chargeable. Clean set of towels are provided every 3 days, if you need more, they can be requested at a separate charge. Due to how the place is operated, it is pretty strict about its check out timing of 10am. If needed, you can extend late check out till 12pm for a fee of 2500yen/hr.

Self check-in instructions and process was clear and smooth. Our contact with the accommodation was also approachable and replied fast with our questions. The accommodation was also clean!

Location is about 7 mins walk to JR Imamiya station and there's a Lawson just next door. Room was spacious even for a family of 6 like us. Happy with all the facilities.

We stayed in Ostay Vermillion Namba for 6 nights and used Osaka as the focal point for travel to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nara and a couple of other places. Get down at Osaka station and use the loop line to get out at Imamiya station (7 stops). We used JR pass and Osaka loop line is covered. The hotel is about 300 metres from the train station, and there is a very nice park next to the hotel. There is a gas station next door with a Lawson that provides all basic necessities. Check in is automated and smooth. There is no staff at the counter, so please make sure you have the entry codes before you reach the hotel. Ostay Vermillion is a fantastic stay to sum up. Big drawing/dining area, 2 big bed rooms with a total of 4 large comfortable beds and clean linen. Fully functional kitchen and a large bathroom make the stay comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Washing machine is within the bathroom. There is a large balcony attached that also serves as a place to dry clothes. The Ostay team has taken a lot of effort to provide everything for a nice stay. We were a family of 7 and took two rooms (5th and 7th Floor). We could not have selected a better place to stay in Osaka. I communicated with the manager through Whatsapp and his response and resolution was almost immediate. One tip - if you book Room in the corners, you get 2 balconies instead of 1.

For a longer stay, maybe provide cleaning service every 4th or 5th day. There is a car wash next to the property so you can expect some noise during the day. We left at 8 every morning and came back at night, so it never bothered us.

I'm from HK, with my wife and 2 kids. The hotel is close mtr station. It is spacious with 4 twin bed and 2 rooms. It is only few stations from Osaka station. Dryer is provided, the bathing is good, water pressure is sufficient and the water is hot enough. The pillow is hard but suits me. The TV has HDMI so I can play google chromecast. frying pan , cooking pot, knife and forks are provided , so you can cook your own food. With 5 mins drive, you can find a 24 hr supermarket which have many choices.

The wall and floor noise are disturbing me. You can hear people walking in the corridor and closing the doors. There is one night my next room held party create loud noise and you wont find any staff to help. The hotel is close to main street , and you will hear ambulance and firefighter beep bu sound during whole night. Also, there 's a gas station next to hotel and occasionally some motorcycles will test their exhaust sound.
