The staff were amazing and friendly and the facilities were excellent and clean. Well worth the price and honestly might be the best hostel in Osaka for your money. The hostel had a lot of personality and felt very homely, could definitely see myself staying here long term and having a great time. The rooftop area was a great area to just relax, and also is a dedicated smoking area which is a plus. The location is great aswell, the distance from the train station might seem too much but it's really not that far and has many combini on the way.

The family room had quite a lot of traffic noise at night making it impossible for me (a light sleeper) to sleep at night but this isn't the fault of the owners.

This hostel is a little off the beaten path for most of the well-known tourist attractions that I know but it is a lovely place to stay. The staff and owner were very warm and welcoming. I arrived a little earlier than my check-in time while Cherry was setting up the beds and talked with her and the staff about various things. In the evening they gave me recommendations for some places that I could eat for dinner around the hostel. We also played a little Pokémon Go together. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food with a grocery store a short walk away but I only stayed one night so I didn't use it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I plan to stay here again.

BEST! HOST! EVER! If you plan on going to Osaka, stay there! It's a very small hostel, and it's gonna feel like home I promise! The host Chieri is the KINDEST ever! It was wonderful to discover Japan culture and Osaka. We had a lot of fun, interesting chats, we went to do a hanami together (such an incredible moment!) with other guests, she made me try japanese foods that I never tried before (the takoyaki event was so much fun!), like shabu-shabu. Really, really loved it, the hostel is super clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy, the common area is really cool if you wanna hang out with other people or just work quietly, there are konbinis and discount supermarket nearbys, you can use the bikes to discover the city, the neighbourhood is great, with gorgeous temples (Sumiyoshi Taisha, Abiko Kannon and Hozenji temple are my recommendations for sure) and a super cool walking street near Sumiyoshi Taisha, the subway and tramways stations are nearby.... Loved my stay there for sure!

Cherry the host was fantastic, very kind and helpful with travel plans and making us feel welcome. The location is a bit out of town but the bus route outside was very easy to navigate, and there were bikes at the hostel you could use for free. Under the hostel there was a great cafe which is a must visit!!

If you are a light sleeper this potentially isn’t the best option for you, as it is a really small space the social area/table is right outside the dorm and you can hear everything at all times of the day/night. The kitchen is very tiny and there isn’t much fridge space should you be bringing food to cook. The hostel has guests that stay for a long time so it feels more like a shared house than a hostel.

Probably the nicest host I've had in a hostel in Japan. I only stayed for 1 night but the host Cherry is awesome. Super friendly and likes to chat. Rooms were nice and only 4 beds in the room so it was pretty quiet. Has a nice little common area to relax in. Place is clean and the showers are pretty nice.

Location isn't the best. About a 30 minute metro into the city with not much going on in the surrounding area. Had a top bunk with no outlet to charge any of my devices.

Superb, the owner is hospitality, and equipments are tidy and organized. And it's not far from Himematsu tram station which is easily to arrive Abeno downtown area. 10/10 !!

Because it's on the main road so the traffic sound may a bit of obvious(it didn't affect to me.) You may need earbuds if you're sensitive and would like to open the window to sleep. You also can close all windows and turn on the A/C.

The location is not in the center, but still in a very good neighborhood. The next station for the subway is within a 10 minute walk, and from there, one is able to get to Dotonbori in 10-15 minutes. Their are also nice restaurants nearby and the Botanical Garden with a teamLab exhibition is also not far. In addition, everyone at the Hostel was so nice, I couldn't have wished for better hosts. ♥️ I arrived and it immediately felt like home. Thank you!

Nice comfortable stay with a great cheap restaurant to eat next door. Small place with few guests. Owner and staff are super friendly. Spacious, easy laundry, rooftop, all good.

All the toilets are broke except one and the bidet doesn’t work. The hostel is slightly far from the station, about 10-15 minute walk but can seem longer after a big day out.

The host was really cheerful and helpful about stuff like storing my luggage before check in time. The place has a nice atmosphere about it.

Just to mention something, ventilation in the rooms could be a little better... I had to share the room with someone with remarkable smelly feet (great guy besides that), and it was a little tough to get used to it at night.

It's a tiny hostel with a warm family like feeling! Our stay was really nice.

The kitchen was a little dirty and the air conditioner was harsh in the beginning and than stopped and there was no air in the room.
