The location is exceptional, very close to the Osaka Castle and the JR metro line. The hotel itself is very large and has several restaurants and other facilities. We had a wonderful view towards the castle. The buffet breakfast is very complete and very good, with both oriental and western options.

The rooms feel old, the mattresses were not very comfortable and the bathroom was inferior than bathrooms in similar hotels across Japan. Service is correct but not friendly. Not enough space for clothes in the room. Not even a stand or place for the suitcases.

This hotel has the best concierge. They went above and beyond to make our stay in Osaka both fun and memorable. While the rooms were a bit dated, everything was clean and comfortable. The view from our rooms of the Osaka Castle and the river with Cherry Blossoms trees was spectacular. Each morning I ran around the moat and through the parks near the castle. Beautiful scenery and delicious food stand everywhere. One afternoon, we ate desserts at the sweets buffet on the 1st floor of the hotel. It was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant on the 18th floor. Steak and scallops were grilled to perfection. Lastly, room service had a great American style breakfast. The metro was just a short walk from the hotel.

Wish rooms were a bit more updated.

Excellent location. We stayed during cherry blossom with a castle view room and simply wont forget the view with the river, castle and the full bloom we witnessed around the castle and the river. Just amazing

nothing major but kids breakfast should be included in room rate. Upto 4 years is free but we were travelling with 3 and 6 year olds so had to pay for 1 breakfast each mrng. no problem paying for kids but when you book a room with breakfast, you would assume all guests are covered but when we got there, kids over 4 aren’t included for breakfast if you are sharing the same room.

The interior of the lobby of the hotel was very nice and it was walking distance from the Osaka Castle. It was close to a metro station, which was convenient. We liked that the hotel had tennis courts. We were able to use it, but paid extra fees. The staff was very friendly.

The room that we got was a lot smaller and older than I had envisioned from the hotel pictures. I was a bit disappointed that the room was not modernized. We also had to pay for additional for anything that we wanted to use extra on-site, including the tennis courts and pool.

We felt like we'd landed in a choice part of Osaka, with an extraordinary view to Osaka Castle and its parkland. It was a highlight and daily pleasure, particularly at dusk with the sunset reflecting on the moat and at night with the castle lit up. Staff were kind and generous with local knowledge. The breakfast buffet was well-catered and delicious. Short walk to quality local restaurants and the train station.

Mattresses were quite firm, and the bedsheets were a little stiff and noisy.

Staff were amazing, very attentive and smiling from the moment you walk in the front door to the moment you leave. Great location, close to metro, Osaka castle and a short metro ride to other attractions. Breakfast was good

We stayed for 3 nights and opposite the hotel on the other side of the canal is a small entertainment centre. On 2 of the nights there were concerts happening and the spotlights on the outside of the venue were on until late and it did a little ruin the night view from our room especially of Osaka castle.

Wonderful location and amazingly helpful and attentive staff. It felt like a beyond first class experience being brought up to our room and shown around the hotel as we went. We had a great view of Osaka Castle from our room and the location right next to both the Castle Park and an Osaka Loop train station makes it the perfect place to be.

That we didn't have time to stay for another few days at this place and further enjoy what Osaka has to offer!

Good location near the castle. Good breakfast and dinner. very helpful concierge and guest relations staff.

The room was comfortable but rather dark- needs more overhead lighting. No personal safe in the room, which is unusual. This is a good, efficient but very big hotel-- a bit bland Osaka railway and subway system is very complex; and 3 or 4 main stations called ”Osaka” itself. Worth doing your research on this before arrival. You need good navigational skill.

The breakfast is best of town. The room is nice and clean with very good view. Very good service which I feel very warm welcomed by the hotel.

There is no air-conditioning in the room during winter, but only warm gas. It’s too warm that I can’t sleep at night. I have to open the window for some fresh air and the window is so big that even an adult can get through it. It make me stay up all night looking at the window. (though the view is still nice)

All the employees were very helpful, professional, and hospitable. Room was clean and tidy. View in-our room was beautiful and memorable. The location was safe and quiet near the train station and convenience store.

The room decor was very outdated. During our second night stay, the above guests were noisy especially after midnight and had to call front desk for assistance.
