The hotel is very close to the subway station. It was clean and staff very nice. The room is smaller than the European ones, but it didn't impact our stay.

The staff is very helpful and some can speak english. The room is spacious (maybe because it was supposed to be room for 4 but there is only 3 of us). There is 2 old laundry machine and 1 new laundry machine and it usually empty. There is vending machine and microwave too. As everyone said, it's dated but there is netflix and youtube on the TV (which help us got entertained after a week watching japanese tv show and news cluelessly). It's near convenience store and also the subway (stairs). Also we fell in love with one of the crepe store near the hotel.

Despite the room is spacious, the bathroom is very cramped. There is no english explanation on how to use the old laundry machine (i was struggling for 10 minutes with google translate on my phone) but there is steps on how to use the new laundry machine. It's near the subway but it was lot of stairs so it's kind of difficult for us to bring our baggage and tiresome for my mother .

The breakfast menu needs improvement , more selection would be great.

- It's near the train stations and Osaka Castle. - They have specific dates for full room cleaning but on other days, they replace the towels and garbage bag. - They have coin laundry, vending machine, and microwave at 6th floor. - They also have luggage delivery (using Yamato(?)) to another hotel or airport.

- They don't have a ramp for heavy luggages. They only have stairs (with fewer steps) but it's still inconvenient for the guests with multiple luggages. - Staff is having a bit difficulty communicating in English.

The hotel is near Tanimachi 4-chome station with access to Chuo and Tanimachi lines. It's also walking distance to Osaka Castle. "Konbinis" are everywhere so one will never go hungry when checked in at Hotel Sun White.

The hotel has seen better days for sure - most of the facilities are dated but still functional. The items in-room are ok but can be improved. Some room controls and provisions were not explained thoroughly upon check-in.

It’s close to Tanimachiyon Chome station. Everything was clean.

Since it’s next to the main road, it can get quite noisy. The entrance is also a few steps of stairs down so you might wanna take note of that if you’re carrying luggages with you. The nearest station entrance/exit doesn’t have escalators or elevators, only stairs. 😂 The room is quite small. If you’re a muslim traveler, the space between the bed and table is just enough for average-sized people as a praying space. Hijabis sisters don’t have to bring your own iron. You can use one from the hotel for free.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They helped us call for taxi going to JR Tennoji Station on the way back to the airport and also allowed us to leave our luggage safely at the hotel upon check out while we visited Osaka Castle. The hotel is within walking distance of Osaka Castle. It is also located near the Tanimachi 4-chome subway station with the Tanimachi and Chuo Lines on the Osaka Metro. The hotel is good value for the price we paid.

The stairs from the subway station to the exit near hotel were a bit steep. When going to Namba (Dotonbori), we needed to transfer either at Hommachi Station or Tanimachi 9-chome Station which took time and a bit of a walk. The hotel is also a bit old.

It was clean and even though it’s not new, is well-kept. The location is a few minutes walk feom everything - metro station, osaka castle, market, etc.

Nothing that I didn’t like. If anything, maybe hire an english-speaking receptionist. Don’t get me wrong, the staff was cery friendly, it would just be helpful to have someone speak a little english.

The hotel employees were extremely helpful and accommodating even if they didn’t speak English (most employees were able to communicate in English, even if it was just a little). When I arrived it was pouring rain and I didn’t have an umbrella, fortunately they had umbrella rentals for guests at no extra cost. They were also very patient using Google Translate to converse and assist me with the laundry machine services the hotel offers. (The detergent is in the machine so you don’t need to purchase it separately! Which made it quick and easy to use once I was shown how it worked.) The rooms are smaller than the American standard, but if you’re organized there is still plenty of room for your belongings to be easily accessible during your stay. And they leave water in your room after each day your room is serviced. The hotel is right next to a subway station that makes it easy to get around Osaka-Umeda and to and from KIX airport. It is also conveniently located near convenient stores and restaurants for quick food and beverage options. All staff members were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

The room was spacious and was located a 10 minute walk from Osaka Castle, courtesy umbrellas available, good laundry facilities, and was surrounded by convenient stores and local restaurants.

The bathroom was elevated, which felt weird as it seemed to be moving, and the toilet was a little cramped. Cleaning service seemed to vary. Some days, we would have 3 waters, 3 towels and new sheets, some days 2 towels, no waters, and just beds made. Coffee cups provided only got washed and replaced twice.
