TV that syncs with personal mobile devices is a great addition. Ice machine available on top floor. Friendly and helpful reception that helps us with stored luggage and solves minor issues with ease. Onsen is available until midnight.

The hotel implements an "eco" system where roomkeeping is done every 3 days. However, this effort is ironically wasteful and counterproductive. Many of the daily amenities are unneeded. A new whole bag of supplies (new toothbrush, cups, etc.) is too much daily and comes with a lot of single-use plastic. Cleaning staff also threw away my personal toothbrush (not complimentary from APA) on the day they entered my room and mistakenly left a red cleaning towel on the bedsheet. Location is easily walkable but a lot of people were lounging in the streets and the hotel entrance despite signs saying this type of behavior is prohibited. Cleanliness in the area around the hotel is also an issue.

Located in the heart Shinjuku, it is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars, clubs, convenient stores and a shopping complex. Your options are endless which is a bonus. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Airport Shuttle Bus Stop, JR line trains and metro stations. They recommend guests to self check in using their touch pad screens and interaction with staff is minimal. Basic hotel with basic ammenities.

We had a room facing into the streets and so it got a bit noisy through the windows. Every morning around 6-7am the big screens on the surrounding buildings would start their commercials. This woke us up a couple of times. The room is incredibly small but we got what we paid for. There is barely enough room to move around once the luggages are out. As we were out for most of the day, we didn't mind cheaping out on accomodation. The TV would automatically turn on when you enter the room which was annoying having to turn it off each time.

Very central location in Shinjuku, close-by to Shinjuku station for the JR lines, Mt. Fuji and Narita Express, Shibuya and Harajuku are close-by. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable for those travelling every day. Definitely recommend for your first time in Tokyo

Rooms were recently fitted with AC with heaters removed. During November, rooms can be quite cold. Shinjuku is quite loud, so sirens and activations can be heard from your room.

I was so happy with the genyo.

they don’t switch on the proper coffee machine before midday. I would like to suggest that European,American,Australian travellers like to have a proper coffee in the morning. from 7am. what they offered for breakfast is not the one you wanted and they have that lovely coffee machine at the coffee shop.

Location is central, it is very easy if you are coming from airport by bus,it is front of the this hotel. Train station is also very near.Definitely will come again.Very good property,Breakfast is good, very clean and all you required is available in the room.My room was little bit cold and i talked to reception they arranged a heater for me very immediately. Many cafes and bars nearby, Main shopping street of Shinjuku and many shopping centers are on walking distance.

No any complains for this hotel. I am much satisfied with everything. Specially after long flight i took bus from Narita airport and bus stopped in front of the Hotel, On return i was going to Haneda and catch bus from the same place.

This hotel is in a great location central to transport, entertainment and food. Our room was 26 th floor with a view , from the bed , over Tokyo.

The rooms are very small, the length of a double bed. I’m tall, my feet were against the wall at the foot of the bed. It was necessary to negotiate movement within the room. We travelled with 2 small cases. Much more than that and you would have real problems. Having said that it was fine for three nights when you’re out most of the time and have a shower in the morning and back to sleep late in the day. My biggest criticism is the pillows which were the worst I have ever encountered.

The location was amazing!! Super central to everything in Shinjuku and a short walk with luggage from the train station. It is located in a very central area - great for those looking to go to Shinjuku’s night life district. However, probably not the most family friendly. It’s located in a fairly dirty area with a lot of… unsanitary characters nearby and a lot of rubbish. The whole area feels very dirty. Asides from that staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were a bit outdated and tiny but very efficient and quite clean. You get heaps of amenities and even more when you don’t ask for them including fresh cups, towels, hair ties etc. such great value for money! Staff were very welcoming.

The area it’s located in is a bit grubby. Rooms are tiny and difficult with two suitcases and a bit outdated.

The rooms were nice overall and clean. The toothbrushes and hair brushes were especially great. Staff were helpful and nice.

The double-bed room was quite a bit smaller than room with 2 singles. View was nice but very loud as we were by the large outdoor video screen on Kabuchiko Tower. Room needs window to be sound-proofed (thicker window to reduce noise). Nice hotel but not a good location for a family and teenagers. More for single adults. It would be helpful to have access to staircase as it took a long time sometimes to use the elevators. We would have preferred to take the stairs up and down, especially when we were in a rush.

The room was a perfect size for a solo traveller to Tokyo! I was staying there before going to Ishikawa-ken for my university trip, and it allowed me to get everything in order with my luggage and was a great location for me to visit my friends who were in Tokyo as well. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller as well, as everything was key-carded to get into. I did not try the in-hotel onsen, but there was yukata provided for it if you wanted to use it.

The square outside the hotel gets very loud and messy at night with the drunk people there, although police were vigilant about keeping it peaceful.

The location suited our needs as we wanted to be in a more lively part of town. It's a short walk from the train station and there are convenience stores around as well as plenty of bars and restaurants etc. Some people have suggested it is a bit seedy in that part of town with scams being operated for girl shows but we never had a problem ie we just said no thanks. The rooms are quite tight but that seems to be the norm for Tokyo. The onsen on the top floor was a nice touch - just remember to bathe naked. The TV was useful in describing hotel facilities and outlining customs and practice for inexperienced travellers. Early check in cost Y1000 per hour, but if you don't want to pay that you can leave your bag at reception and have a wander before check in. The amenities are a nice touch: wash cloth, hairbrush, toothbrush and the vending machines and microwaves are handy too. Overall a very nice stay
