The location of this hotel was perfect! It is within walking distance to Roppongi, only two stops away from Shibuya and only ten to fifteen minutes away from the rest of central Tokyo. My partner and I stayed there for 11 nights (!) and we fit three big suitcases, a small suitcase and two backpacks just fine. As we were preparing to move into our new flat in the city, we also frequently went shopping for home goods like electronics, work clothes etc and they also fit. Laundry was very good. The amenities were plenty and the room and facilities were very clean. They also called a taxi for us and helped us with storing our luggage.

While we fit all suitcases, the room is a bit small but for the price we paid, we were happy either way! Just mentioning it as it may be a dealbreaker for some people, in case they want a huge room.

Great little hotel in Akasaka. You are literally across the road from Akasaka Station, which is ideal for public transport connections. The room was small, but this is typical of Tokyo hotels. It was absolutely fine for one person. The staff members were lovely, and one kind receptionist helped me take my luggage up to the room, as I had 2 x 23kg suitcases. The staff also helped me order a taxi to my hotel near Haneda airport, which came pretty much immediately. I originally didn't pay for breakfast but opted to upon arrival, as I needed a change from my combini breakfasts. All very simple to check-in. Great hotel and staff all around.

Please bear in mind that the Akasaka station exit opposite the hotel closes at 10 pm, so you will need to use a different exit later on at night. When draining the bath one evening, I noticed that the drain wasn't working properly and the water flooded little into the bathroom. I resolved this by holding the plug partially in the plug hole, so it could drain slowly.

The staff was great and helpful the metro is outside the hotel! that is great, altho the hotel is not next to the main attractions, its in the middle of tokyo and easy to get everywhere especially when you need to wake up early in the morning and don't want to ride from one side of tokyo to the other. there is a family mart under the hotel and great katsu next to it.

could be a better breakfast i guess? its a coffee place that's under the hotel, they don't have a lot to pick from and dont have the coffee i like to drink ( cappuccino and latte )

This is my second time staying with the Sotetsu group and the staff are always so helpful. Location is great because you're not too in the city but you're also not too out of the city - really close to the imperial palace which is nice and figured out that the Chiyoda line can actually be easier to use to get to Tokyo station (if you don't want to change too much and prefer walking). The room is always super clean and tidy when you arrive and the pictures are accurate so I would definitely double check what room you're booking in ratio the amount of guests.

The overall experience was great but if I were to nitpick, the pillows could've been more comfortable!

This is my second time staying with the Sotetsu group and the staff are always so helpful and first time staying in the Annex building. Everything was exactly the same and it was a lot easier having laundry available closer. Good central location with metro station entry literally across the road. Amazing soundproofing against outside noise and adjoining rooms. You could borrow everything from umbrellas to hair straighteners from the lobby.

Our 3 rooms were small, and whilst generally well designed I think they are probably more meant for single business people and not people with a lot of luggage on a ski holiday so it was hard to fit 2 suitcases in and only 1 side of the bed has floor access so the person on the wall side has to climb over the other person to get out. Some people will probably find the bed a bit too hard for their liking too. Ultimately it was good value for money but if you're staying any length of time you'd probably want a bigger room

Lovely place, the room is perfect and the staff is super nice. Most of the staff didn’t speak English, but they tried their best to communicate and I felt like a very valuable customer because of that. The room is very clean and their policies are clear. I stayed 2 weeks and it was great. The place is close to Akasaka station which connects you to everything quickly. Didn’t have any issues getting places. The free toiletries and stuff were very good quality and they had everything for every possible occasion!

The breakfast is not worth the price, but it is not really the hotel’s fault, it’s a deal with a cafeteria that is right beside it.

Superb location. We love staying in Akasaka because it is quieter, but still very central. The hotel is right across the street from exit 7 of Akasaka station, so that makes travel time to and from other neighborhoods like Omotesando, Shibuya, Harajuku, Maranouchi, etc. really easy. Honestly, we have found it’s better to stay one stop away from the chaos, so that you can have a break from it if you need. This hotel and location is perfect for that.

We didn’t really have any issues. At this price point and in this location, you really couldn’t ask for more.

I visited Japan a couple of times before and never stayed with a Sotetsu Fresa or in Akasaka. But I had an amazing experience, exceeding my expectations.  Big room with its own small kitchen-like corner. Big bathroom for Japanese standards. Generally a big room if I compare it with what I experienced before.  Good offer of power outlets and light panel right at the bed. Also I felt that it was nice to be in the neighbouring building with less customer traffic. On top of that one of the staff helped me to get a package delivered to the hotel. They received it well and kept it secure for my pick-up, so this was a top notch service above the language barrier which was encountered well.

The only thing which did not meet my expectations to 100% was the cleaning service. When asking for cleaning, I recognised that this was only done superficially.  I for example had some stains on the table from dinner and they were never cleaned during my whole stay. Also I had some dishes (plates and spoons provided by the hotel), in the kitchen sink, which never got changed or cleaned up.  Besides that everything was exceeding my expectations.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for getting around Tokyo and there were plenty of restaurants, shops and bars on our doorstep. The staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful if we needed anything. Our room was clean and comfortable. Yes, the room was on the smaller size, but it's to be expected in Japan. There were two of us in a double room and we had no issues with space whatsoever. There is a lack of storage space for your belongings, but it wasn't an issue for us, even with all the stuff we had accumulated by the end of our trip. We didn't have any issues using the washers and dryers the whole two weeks we were there. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Nothing. We had a wonderful stay here.
