The location was excellent, as only 1 subway stop from Shinjuku and only a minute's walk from the station. The property was easy to access with a code for the main door and for our bedroom door and no key to lose. The owner and that cleaning lady that I spoke to were friendly and helpful, and the property was very clean and tidy. The room was large for the price and Japanese standards, the beds and pillows super comfy with lovely bedding linen used. Loved the upstairs common room coffee too! Fabulous restaurants, a Familymart and 7-11 literally around the corner.

I didn't like not having the room rubbish not being taken away daily and towels replaced but understand that security is kept at an optimum by not having anyone access our room during our stay.

The property is located in a quiet side street and has a very residential feel while still being super close to public transport and a major street. It’s in walking distance to some nice cafés, restaurants and bars. Self check-in and -out was easy thanks to the clear instructions! Good size shower with decent water pressure :)

The building itself isn’t amazingly soundproof. Our room was located next to the common area/kitchen and therefore a little noisy. There are a few minor things like the fact that there’s no hanger for a towel next to the wash basin and the downs in the blanket being very clumpy that felt a little inconvenient and could be improved. Be aware that there is no staff! Communication via the Booking-App regarding my request for luggage transfer from Kyoto was so-so. Otherwise good value for money though :)

For travelers seeking a blend of comfort, convenience, and cleanliness, this accommodation near Hatsudai station is a fantastic choice. Its strategic location and the quality of stay it offers make it a commendable option for anyone looking to explore Tokyo.

The location is really close to a Keio subway station. We always had to transfer in Shinjuku to go elsewhere but we don’t mind it. The neighborhood has multiple restaurants and a convenience store around it to satisfy late night cravings.

The room is clean but narrower than what the picture is showing. Everything is self-service here, no staff around to help. The staff took awhile to reply to my message. Luggage storage is really small and already filled with other guests’ items when we arrived. We didn’t have a place to put our luggage and we had to wait for our room to store our stuff. There’s supposed to be a direct access from the property to the laundry area but it’s locked most of the time. I had to go back and forth from the outside at a freezing temperature. I wish the second floor has a communal area too, but it’s not a deal breaker.

Clean, comfortable bed, room quite spacious for Tokto standards and compared to its price, communal room with kitchen and water, easy check in/out, they allow to store the luggage days before/after stays and only cost 500 JPY such a good deal and much better than store it at station’s locker coin, close to the station and various resto/konbini nearby.

Close to the Hatsudai station but it’s only passed by New Keio Line. Actually it only 1 stop away to Shinjuku, but when i have to transfer to JR line in Shinjuku, it can take almost 7-10 minutes walking for transfer.

Staff were easily reachable and quick and happy to help sort anything. Very quick walk to a train station and 1 stop ride to get to Shinjuku station, so convenient! Room was very spacious, lots of floor space for suitcases and moving around. Big window, lots of light. Fully blackout blinds were great for a sleep in! After 9 different hotels across Japan on this trip, this bed was by far the most comfortable! Common room had lots of cooking utilities and all the things you need to make meals. Common areas and the room were very clean and tidy! Would definitely stay here again!

Bathroom is quite tight if you are tall. Knees were against the wall sitting on the toilet and head was nearly at the ceiling in the shower.

First of all, the location is just a short walk from the nearest train station, close distance from family mart, McDonald's and KFC. There's even a Anytime Fitness center within a 3 mins walk away. What i like is also the convenient of common area where filtered water is provided and with beverages packets as well. The room are decently clean and there is a lift to the higher level which is really convenient. There is a laundry room just right beside as well. Our host (Hide-san) is nice and friendly and promptly assists with queries and provide help even after we have checked out.

We really liked this hotel. It provided a comfortable room which was secure and had the additional convenience of various shared facilities such as a small kitchenette area, lounge space and washing machines. The hotel is entirely self-serve which for us worked really well. We found the location right next to the metro also great. The hotel, when we booked also offered fantastic value for money for Tokyo.

Only really two improvements, minor improvement to the cleaning in the bathroom as I noticed hairs between the toilet basin and toilet seat. We both also found the pillows to be too soft and not that comfortable so it would be good to have had a second pillow per person or an alternative option.

Great little place to stay at which is just a few JR stations away from Shibuya/Shinjuku. The room was clean and orderly and there were also extra amenities provided in the 3rd floor (microwave, cutlery, filtered water, towels etc.) which are always nice to have. The room was a bit larger than we expected and there was enough space for both of our big suitcases.

There is no standard check-in process, since one has to fill out a form online and you get the key code to the room and property entrance online. It did not bother us, just confused us a tiny bit since we were unsure whether it would be okay for us to just walk in. Luckily, we were told after that it is perfectly okay!

Clean room, comfortable bed, large TV, large shower with good water pressure. Keyless entry to hotel and room a plus. Staff very responsive! Onsite laundry (coins) was handy. Hatsudai area was safe with some restaurants and shopping nearby. and within walking distance to Yoyogi Park, Shinjuku, etc. Feels more like a neighborhood than part of a large city (which was nice).

Pillows were cheap and incredibly thin. Even with four pillows I had to jury rig more just to get my head more than 3" off the bed. There really wasn't a cafe - just kitchen equipment. While you can take the train most anywhere, it was a hassle to switch from/to Hatsudai to Shinjuku - just felt like a 10-15 min walk to switch lines each time. I usually just walked the 30-35 min from Shinjuku station.
