Right across the road from the station and multiple convenience stores. Great amenities, comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Uncomfortable pillows is the only complaint about the hotel. For tourists: The hotel is off the JR Rail, so you can't use the JR pass (you have to use the subway, which costs 180yen each way). You have to transit through Shibuya and Shibjuku Station whenever you use the train. Both train stations are uncomfortably busy. Always. There are not a lot of options for food/entertainment nearby. Though Shinjuku is only a few mins by train/20mins walk.

Felt really safe here as a solo female traveler. The hotel I also right beside the train station, bus stops, many convince stores and pharmacies. Room view a “city view” was definitely worth paying a little extra for.

Only 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. I planned to do a few washes through out my stay but was only able to do one as they were constantly in use and other guests would leave their clothes in them even when done. The tv in the room also was pretty unusable, it would freeze and not let me click on any of the VOD/news channel options then the casting wouldn’t worth either.

The rooms were and beds were comfortable. All the toiletries you could possibly need were provided and replenished regularly. The onsen was a nice and relaxing addition, and the staff were very polite and helpful whenever we needed them. The location is within very short walking distance of a train that's 5 minutes to shinjuku station, or a 20 minute walk, and there's plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity to make good use of.

The swimming pool being a paid service for residents is very odd to me. The room was small, but admittedly that's fairly standard in Japan. The bar was nice but we're fairly certain we saw a mouse running around in it. I never felt worried about hygiene standards as there was obviously regular cleaning, but it would be dishonest of me not to mention this.

I liked the hotel's sustainable practices, such as cleaning every 3 nights, because cleaning every night like in traditional hotels is extremely wasteful. I liked that there was a kettle! And I liked that the tap water was drinkable.

I wish there would have been more hooks in our room for clothes, or even a small wardrobe to hang our clothes because we both had many outfits for our 9 night stay. Plus we had no place to put the APA robes because our clothes and jackets took up all the hooks on the wall. We couldn't put anything in the 1 drawer because it was filled with makeup. A bit more space would have been nice!

The Double Room with Small Double Bed - Non-Smoking - Single Use I opted for before arrival was perfect with storage under the bed to put my suitcase away clear even more room to be comfortable in., as I was skeptical about the size of the "single" room but I wasn't disappointed in the choice I made. The breakfast buffet was abundant and the choices of traditional Japanese to Western food choices were a nice adage., wide variety of beverages as well! On my checkout I also utilized the luggage storage which was allowed free of charge to take a final stroll at the local park., just download the QR and a front desk concierge will assist in the process. I will be retuning to Japan next year and will be staying in another APA location near another group of art museums as they are will situated close to transit lines.

The restaurant located off the main lobby could have a alternative "Japanese" dinner menu to add to the "flavor" of the hotel., but there are a variety of traditional eateries within a short walk and the "IRISH PUB" did have a nice selections of beers to choose from.

The view from the room is spectacular, (19th floor) it's close to the train station/across the road, easy to navigate. The room was TINY, but we only need a place to shower and sleep. It was a lot like a cruise ship stateroom. With a great Tub. They have a nice pub, and the breakfast in the morning was varied and everything was great. Check out was easy.

The towels could use some updating, the bed was comfy and even though the room was small, we were very comfortable. Some of the breakfast items that were in chafing dishes (supposed to be served hot), were still semi-frozen oops! We didn't like having to check out - we would have liked to stay longer.

Easy location for getting around Tokyo using public transport. Two convenience stores for changing money and getting a quick snack. The Gyoza cafe almost next door to the hotel was excellent dining. Their lunch day specials were very good. Walked by their picture advertising for 3 days and on the last day had lunch there. Wished we had eaten there earlier as would have gone back a second time. Staff was very good at holding our luggage the day we left so we could go out and explore on our last day.

Skip the Breakfast Buffet! Was very disappointing experience and only went down the first day. For Japanese hotel we have had better breakfasts!! Not much food selection was cold and mediocre. The staff was not prepared for the number of people dining for breakfast. We pack light with only carryon suitcases. Glad the beds were raised as only place to store luggage during the stay.

You ought to look at this hotel like a luxery BackPacker hotel - Rooms are very small - But when you find your way - still practical, all very clean and comfy despite. - I simply love the Onsen! This is quite unique for a hotel like this. - This hotel is value for the money

The staff a little fuzzy at check in. You pay upfront - and not very clear what is your payment receipt. - Nothing good to say about the restaurant! Not cozy at all - and often stinks in there. (And actually also a little rude staff) Breakfast only yil 9am - out of this world crazy having people coming from all over the world, being jetlag! (Ought to be till 10 am at the least) And for me the dinner they serve is not worth the money. - This was 2nd stay, and I might use the hotel again, but never eat there again - ever! - Also we had to move to another room, as we had the small of cigarettes in our room. We had no refund for the inconvenience! This was so not OK!

The room was clean and very comfortable, and the shower/bath were great with the water always being nice and hot. The bed was also very comfortable and a good size. The location was a little out of the way, but with bus stops and a metro station practically on the door step its no issue to go anywhere. Also there are a few restaurants with plenty of choice of things to eat within a short walk, and 3 or 4 konbini's. Two of which are just across the road as well as 2 small tax free shops just up the road its all together nice place to be. Breakfast was a buffet style and offered plenty of choice for everyone. I also found the staff very helpful over all it was a great experience.

The free Wi-Fi was a little slow compared to other places I've stayed but worked enough for what I needed. There wasn't a safe in the room. I wasn't allowed into the spa due to having some tattoos.

Loved the location. Easy to get to the trains and good area for exploring. Everything felt fancy and they are very efficient with check in and out. Does day storage for your bags while you go out after check out.

I didn’t like that it says there’s a smoking room but when I went down stairs to ask was spoken to very rudely by a desk attendant about no smoking any where, but what he was trying to say was the smoking room closes at 10pm. This is also the same attendant who wouldn’t tell us in English if we could leave our bags at the hotel after check out and keep talking in circles instead of asking for the young man to help him who eventually stepped in anyway whose English was fantastic.
