Our stay at Super Hotel Premier Akihabara was excellent. The staff here were so lovely and helpful. There was an onsen on level 2 (men) and level 3 (women’s, protected by code) which was such a good end to the day. The room itself was small (as you would expect for Japan) but had everything you need. There were also lots of toiletries and skincare at reception you could pick up yourself which was great. My favourite thing about this hotel though was the location - an easy 5 minute walk from Akihabara station made it so easy to explore Tokyo. Loved everything about this stay, couldn’t recommend it more!

Not 24 hr check in. Our flight was delayed which meant we arrived at 12AM (when check in closed) so we had to stay overnight at the airport and basicallly forfeit a night at our hotel.

We stayed in SuperHotel Premier Akihabara for a total of 7 nights divided into two separate stretches, and we loved almost everything about it. Very easy walk to Akihabara train station (use the Showa-Dori exit), location on the Kanda "river" (canal, really), the amazingly helpful, respectful and hard-working staff, the free access to the hotel's ofuro (public bath) nearly 24/7, the comfortable beds, the free selection of your favorite pillows, the "happy hour" of 6-10 pm with free drinks and snacks, the hotel emphasis on sustainability and wellness. Special kudos to the breakfast buffet, for 1300 yen (about 9$), which we took advantage of every morning. They had a variety of both western and Japanese-style dishes, they had great home-baked olive bread with a real crust (very rare in Japan), and were often the only meal during the day when we could find fresh green salad (also very rare in Japan). And don't forget the two cute puppies, Moe and Chico!

What prevents me from rating this hotel as 10 is the small size of the room. While we (two adults) managed for 7 days and nights, it was pretty cramped. This size may be typical of Tokyo hotels of this level, however. I also have an important suggestion for improvements aimed at the hotel management: Please, PLEASE put felt or rubber pads on the feet of the wooden chairs in the dining room. The chairs make an AWFUL noise every time a guest (or cleaning staff) moves a chair; I can still hear this soul-wrenching screeching sound in my mind's ear (shudder). It is a seemingly minor point which will make a huge improvement in the overall guest experience.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good position, easy to reach from many parts of town.

You must be out of the room by 10am every morning and cannot return till 3pm, as the staff proceeds to clean the room.

The location is extremely central, just a short walk from the center of Akihabara. There are plenty of useful amenities to use in the room. The lounge is comfortable. The staff is friendly. The laundry system is very good, much cheaper than other places.

Well, it is not recommended if you have to work remotely during the night. The laptop table is too small, the chair too uncomfortable. Although the room is somewhat larger than those that can usually be purchased for the same price in the area, it is not designed to stay for long periods of time, like work from there. Due to the fact that in order for the cleaning staff to check in at 10 o'clock, you have to leave the room before that time, most of the days I was left without cleaning, due to the fact that I had to get up later because I worked at night. If you take into account this consideration, it is probably an excellent hotel, but for my specific use I could not work from my laptop with a minimum of comfort.

The location is very good, Akihabara station reachable in a few minutes by foot. And even though the hotel is in the busy Akihabara area, it is in a quiet side street. Breakfast was good, with some variating warm parts like scrambled eggs, little omelettes, etc. I prefer a warm breakfast and so I was able to start the day with a small bowl of soup, some rice and something from the daily variations. The staff was also very helpful with my questions and luggage storage. Will consider staying here again next time I'm in Tokio.

There is only one small elevator so it gets crowded at some times. If you are good on foot, it is preferrable to use the external stairs for quickly getting downstairs. Also one needs to plan in the waiting time at the elevator when checking out, I had to let pass the elevator four times until I could get in (probably not as bad if you are leaving a lot earlier than the checkout deadline).

The location of this hotel was fantastic, with it being a sort walk from 2 metro station as well as Akihabara train station. There are several convenience stores near by and lots of restaurants. The hotel was very clean, the staff were super nice, and the bath house was tattoo friendly. I was really surprised by this as i struggle normally because i have large tattoos. The breakfast was buffet style, it was small but varied and it had something for all tastes. Also there was an open bar on the evening between 6pm and 10pm which was a really nice touch. I would 100% stay here again.

The only thing i could think of was that, because the hotel has only 1 elevator there is sometimes a long wait for it to arrive

The staff is nice and the hotel has nice facilities. You can grab free drinks in the evening and they have a robot dog and extra pillows at the reception. Also, there is an onsen! It is quite small and simple but it is tattoo friendly!!! The room is nice and spacious enough in my opinion. It has a fridge and tea maker too. the location is good, close to Akihabara station.

There is only one elevator so you're always waiting for it. The window is not transparent so there is no natural light in the room. The tablet to control the lights/airco/tv etc seems flashy but doesn't work that great unfortunately. The TV is super big but the stream function does not work so I didn't use it. I would have liked it if the hotel offered bathrobes since there is an onsen.

We loved it and would definitely return there. The hotel staff is extremely nice and the amount of amenities available made our days in Tokyo very easy and relaxed. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. In the evening there is a self service bar from 6 to 10 pm where you can try a few drinks, both alcoholic and non alcoholic. There is a small but cozy reception hall with manga to read and a few seats, free water and beverage machines. It faces the river and in the morning we had our coffee in the balcony. The two washing and drying machines (for 200 yen) are really convenient when you travel for many days. The room is not really big but it is big enough to fit large luggage and it had everything we needed. There is a tablet with which you can control lights, AC, TV and even check the availability of the washing machines. Everything is really clean and you can decide if getting your room clean or not for each day, if you don't they still leave clean towels at your door. There was a big window that brought in a lot of light (not obvious in Tokyo). It is near the metro and the area is nice.

The public bath is nice but it fits around three/four people at once so you don't have much privacy (you can't wear anything). But this is how most Japanese baths work so we need to adapt.

The breakfast was great and super affordable, and the onsen was very relaxing and had a great atmosphere. I also appreciated how informative the staff were upon check-in. Bonus points for the "congestion" section on the TVs so I could tell ahead of time what was available.

Only having access to one elevator while staying on the 13th floor made things difficult. I normally take the stairs when possible in hotels, but I avoided them here unless I was leaving directly from the dining area on floor 2 simply because my room was so high up. Also, and this is no fault to the hotel or staff, but I did unfortunately run in to a couple of rude guests here who felt it appropriate to make some jokes at my expense in a language I didn't speak. I believe we were all tourists from our respective countries, but it made me feel less welcome than I had staying in other areas of Japan.

The Onsen was amazing, the location as well - very close to JR and metro station, in the cool Akihabara. Some very good restaurants around. Convenient washing and drying machines. Very nice and helpful staff. Room was pretty comfy and cozy despite the small size. Make sure to pick up your favorite pillow. We booked it for 4 nights, but finally spent 6!

Room was really small, problems to fit the big suitcase, and the price for squares meter very high, as it also was very high season. However, I didn’t find any better deal, so I’d recommend it. Just one elevator, which can get busy at peak hours.
