Good location near metro station and not far from Akihabara or Kanda train station, Tokyo Station is also in walking distance. Apartment was good looking and well arranged for this small area and many beds. Good instructions for arrival and departure, 24/7 access. Generally we liked it and we might return having in mind generally high prices for all other options and very limited offer for group of 5 people in Tokyo!

Having a heating surface, but no utensils and dishes is weird, especially if you stay for a week and want to have at least breakfast at home. Room was cold (windows didn't protect from outside) and we could not warm it up (except upper bed where all of the heat went), this was major issue for us.

The amenities were well stocked, hotel location was close to 2 JR Stations, which were Akihabara and Kanda. There is a well stocked Family Mart Convenience store 2 min walk from the hotel. The only hotel I know that had 2 power ports for each bed, additional power ports around the room, shelving spaces, 4 pillows per bed and soft-medium firmness beds.

The reception staff were never present. We had an issue at check-in and there was nobody to help us. We had to communicate via message through the Line App which had its issues. Also you need to sleep with ear plugs as ambulance, fire and police sirens, and loud fancy cars drive down the main road at the middle of the night.

We loved our stay at Sakura Cross Akihabara. The beds were super comfortable. Good wifi. And the location was great, super close to so many trains, food options, Yodabashi shopping centre etc. The bedding situation and size of the room was one of the best we have seen in Tokyo. Our family of 5 and all of our luggage fit perfectly. The huge windows also provided great sunlight and views. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Some cutlery and bowls in the little kitchenette could have helped, however we survived on cutlery from the convenience stores whenever we bought meals.

The communication from the hotel before we arrived was exceptional. They clearly explained the check in process so that when we arrived, we had all the information we needed to handle the self-check in. Even though we hardly saw any staff, everything was straight forward enough that we could handle things ourselves. If we needed staff, ways to contact them were clearly visible near the main elevator. The hotel was easy to find, with clearly labeled outdoor sign.

There was little room to take off your shoes right in front of the door, because the area where you could wear your shoes was in the same radius as the door opening. This meant that you had to shuffle around the door to stay within the permitted area. The walls were very thin to the outdoors. This meant you could hear everything that happened outside, including a conversation of people talking on the sidewalk. I advise bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Not sure if this should be identified as a hotel, its more of an Airbnb. Checking into the hotel was done via an iPad at the lobby, where you are given a code for the door of the room. Each floor of the hotel has one room. Room is only cleaned if you stay more than 5 days, room has a fridge and a stove top, but no dishes or pans. Room was a 2 bed double and bunk bed was very nice, just like the pictures on the site, it was roomy and fit two adults and 3 teenagers. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, the street and where the hotel is located is a little quiet, area felt very safe, Family Mart and 7-11 right around the block. Akihabara Station is 5 minutes away, Kanda station is 8 minutes away. Hotel was very affordable, would recommend if looking from a room that fits more that 4 people at a reasonable price.

Was expecting a hotel, hotel felt more like an Airbnb. Room is not cleaned on a daily or every other day.

The staff were very courteous and accommodating throughout our stay. They were also quick to respond to any additional requirements we had in relation to our visit. The room was tidy and had a great view. The air-conditioning was greatly appreciated during the hot weather and the fridge was very useful too. The location of the hotel was in a great spot of Akihabara and was in walking distance of convenience stores and the train station, as well as a multitude of attractions. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in Akihabara and would happily stay here again.

The main room smelled of drains when we arrived, however this was quickly alleviated once we ventilated the room by opening the window.

Spacious room, great customer service, great people, smooth check in and check out, Walking distance to train station. It’s so hard to have a big room in Tokyo but Sakura cross did it! We had a great stay for our 3 nights in Tokyo. Further more , I need to specially thanks to a handsome guy that helps us to solved the issue as we came in early and the check in time is at 3pm. However he managed to solved it! Thank you and appreciated so much! Sorry that I forget to ask his name. Arigato gozaimasu 😁

Walking distance to train station Big room , nice shower Comfortable bed Great customer service A cheerful lady staff at sakura cross also help us to look for map to make sure we called the correct uber.

Very spacious compared to other hotel rooms, perfect for a family of 4. More comfortable than the sheraton grande near disneyland. Best pillows and mattresses in Tokyo

I thought it would be fun to get the girls a bunk bed. I forgot however they are strongly related to me and as such all 3 of us are ridiculously clumsy - as such it took less than an hour for my youngest to fall off the ladder, me to fall off the ladder and my eldest to smash her head against the bulk head x 3 times. 😅🤣

Traveling with a wife and 2 young kids, we were looking for a big room that didnt kill our budget, so i came across Sakura Cross Akihabara. I paid about USD280 per night to fit 4 people in one big room, it was certainly great value for money. Location was convenient. About a 5-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station. You'll pass 3 convenient stores on the way to the station (Daily Yamazaki, Family Mart, 7-Eleven), so it's easy to grab a quick eat/drinks.

Checking in was troublesome. Having no staff is not a big deal because the tablet was straightforward. Some reviews have complained that prior to arrival, you get too many e-mails, which is true. But the most troublesome process for me was having booked a big room that accommodates 6 people, and while i came with only 4 kids, the check-in process asked me to fill in the names for 6 people, and i couldnt proceed without duplicating my own name 3 times. And imagine while doing this with 2 kids running around. But due to the great value for money and location, i cant tack too many points off.

Accommodations were nicely designed and my bed and beddings were very comfortable. The room was a bit small though but contained what we need for the stay. As we arrived from the JR station it was a bit of walk to the hotel, but the subway (Hibiya Line) was very near so the rest of transport was ok. We checked in electronically and the instructions were pretty clear and we got our room door combination, so I really can not fault the absence of a human receptionist.

Room a bit tight so ok if you pack light.
