breakfast was good. The hotel was close to most things in akihabara which made it easy to find things, go out for dinner etc. Staff were super friendly and checking/check out was an absolute breeze.

We were not expecting there to be a full size window in the bathroom. Im not really a huge fan of making eye contact with my friends when they're trying to take a poo in the bathroom, or having a shower. Also the curtain that was there was stylised to have holes in it, so even if it was for privacy, you could still see through it into the bathroom, so we had to make a concerted effort not to look at the left hand side of the room when we were in our beds and one of us needed the bathroom

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Akihabara station, which offers access to many subway and JR lines (such as the Yamanote line) making it an ideal starting point for exploring Tokyo. The area offers many great food options and even works well as a starting point for exploring Tokyo on foot. Check-in as well as check-out was efficient and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the top floor, with a nice view of the city. The room itself was conveniently furnished, with a small closet to store the luggage in, a nice desk and a massage chair. Despite being located right next to a train station, our room was fairly quiet (see the notes below), with sufficient isolation between rooms, so we never noticed any other guests.

Neither of these things are big downsides, but: * The rooms, while fairly practical and comfortable, are definitely on the smaller side, making it slightly difficult to fully open larger pieces of luggage. * During the warmer months, Akihabara is an area plagued by extremely loud motorcycles, which could still be heard on the 18th floor. The noise of the train station is noticeable, but way less prominent and didn't bother us at all, but if you're very sensitive this might be an issue. * One thing to keep in mind is that Akihabara gets extremely busy/crowded on the weekends, which may or may not be your cup of tea.

The hotel is literally on top of the Akihabara Station, a great benefit when moving around in Tokyo with trains or subways. The breakfast, although limited in its options, was exceptionally prepared every day, and there are many shops around, including convenience stores. The room was very clean, with a very nice view of the streets below, while there were many amenities to be found at the front desk. The check-in /check-out process was automated, with English descriptions which is very helpful when you are not fluent in (or even if you don't understand even a bit of) Japanese.

The room size is a bit smaller than I expected, although I believe this is generally true for rooms in Japan. As breakfast is served in the cafe on the 2nd floor of the Akiba Tolim building (where remm Akihabara is located), and the hotel area begins from the 6th floor upwards, it may be a bit confusing at first to reach the cafe for your breakfast the first time, especially if you're not used in multiple elevators leading to different floors.

Location is the most convenient. For the price they charge, it's an amazing value. Concierge staff is also multilingual, so they are very helpful.

Rooms are starting to get a little run down. Hopefully renovations happen soon.

Tidy and neat room, it is pretty small though with our huge suitcases. Really good location, right next to the station and Lawson below, lots of great places to eat right nearby. Try some of the choux cream puffs from beard papa's in the walkway next to Yodobashi, they are so yummy! Staff were helpful and polite when we had problems with automatic check-in. The view of Akihabara from our window was good. We could hear the trains going by, which we didn't mind (I think the sounds of the city are exciting) but if you are sensitive to noise and go to bed early this might be something to consider. Also there are some amenities to take (toothbrush/razor) on the reception floor but we didn't find that info (written in the elevator noticeboard) until the last day ^^'

The hotel is about a minute or two walk away from the JR Akihabara station which gives you convenient access to many subway and train lines to travel across Tokyo. Lots of restaurants and shops in the vicinity as well for whatever you're looking for. Staff was very friendly and helpful and there's a currency change machine in the lobby that was easy to use. The shower is excellent, great water pressure and super convenient with both the shower arm and the overhead to use. I'm a tall person at 6'3" and the bathroom and room felt very spacious to me

Only "downside" was the thermostat temperature reading seemed very off from the actual room temperature. It was set to 25 degrees Celsius, but felt closer to 20 or less. It can be changed for the room though so it's just a matter of adjusting to your own comfort level

Great location, the hotel is right next to the Akihabara Station with 2 minutes walk. Also, you can reach via many train lines especially Yamanote Line the major ring line of Tokyo. No chance to try their breakfast during my 7 nights, but I am happy with Starbucks, Lawson and other small ramen shop at ground floor. The 24 sq.m. room without bath tub is enough for 2 with big baggages. The in-room massage chair is a must try. Staffs are helpful and friendly even though they cannot speak good English.

No drop off area for taxi. No coin laundry machine. No coffee available. Very limited Ice Maker Machine only on 10F, 15F. The pillows are pretty small size.

The hotel is located just at the exit of the Akihabara railway and subway station. It is in a lively area where you have no difficulties to find restaurants and shops. The lobby (a small one) is at the third floor while the rooms are all from the 4th to the 13th floor. Our room was of average dimension (not large) but comfortable enough for its amenities (not different from those offered by a four star hotel, among them a massage chair), very well lighted with its large windows. Having asked for a top floor room we enjoyed an incredible view on the city (the room overlooked the station but there was no noise with close windows).

The bathroom had a full size window (with a curtain) which let you be seen from the bedroom when having a shower. So a full privacy is not guaranteed and this could annoy someone.

Remm Akiba is a very close and easy 2 min walk from Akiba station (central gate exit) with access to other train lines within walking distance. There’s a lawson right downstairs and Yodobashi (L7/8 has many food options) is just across the street. Checking in and out was easy, and the rooms were clean. The room size is smaller but we shifted things around to make the space work for us (2 medium and 2 small luggages) - we opted for twin beds. Bathroom shower also comes with shower curtain inside if you prefer having privacy. Overall, it was extremely stress free and we throughly enjoyed our stay. we’ll be back for sure!
