The rooms are clean, food and drinks at their restaurants were exceptional, the wait staff at Utamu restaurant were incredible, especially Gladys, Rhoda and Frederick.

1) Rita at Reception was extremely rude, unfriendly and dismissive as we were checking in. She upset me so much, I almost left immediately. Kevin at reception turned everything around for me, he is kind and exceptional. I am confident that Rita is simply the rotten egg in the bunch.

Great location in modern hotel with great roof top bar and restaurant. Ideal for meetings.

The ibis runs a Ryan Air model. The rooms are affordable but they over charge for other services to make up for this.

We stayed for one night before going to a safari. The hotel met our needs and expectations well. We arrived in the morning and the rooms were available right away. The breakfast, which we paid separately, was sufficient and helped us be ready for a day in Nairobi. We had sun-downers on the rooftop bar and dinner in the restaurant. The drinks and food were good, although the sunset wasn't that great. But that has nothing to do with the hotel. In my opinion the price was fair for the location and the quality of the hotel.

We were able to hear talking etc. from the hallway and neighboring rooms. Fortunately there weren't any parties going on. Bu I'd guess that light sleepers might be interrupted because of the thin walls/doors.

Clean room with comfortable bed and amenities needed for a short stay. The shower had the right pressure and temperatures which was good, and we liked that it had a map of the recommended bars, restaurants and malls that were within walkable distance from the hotel. Very useful for newcomers.

Room is a bit small, but we expected this, so not an ideal spot if you're looking for a long term stay, or if you intend to spend a lot of time in the room itself. Struggled to get the air conditioning to work throughout the night, it would turn off automatically a few times which made it hard to sleep for someone who needs a colder room for sleep.

Staff were very friendly. Nice restaurants with a good selection of food. Good breakfast. Great facilities. Uber drivers were very quick to get there. Good security. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Room was spotless.

The breakfast are got very busy around 8am. It's not the biggest area, so seating becomes a problem when it gets busy. Also would have been nice if there was a small desk (to work at), rather than a tiny metal table in the room. They could put a fan or two in the gym.

We were very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff. In particular I would like to mention the restaurant manager Josephine, the waiter Kelvin and the receptionist Pauline. All three were not only efficient and very helpful in every way, they were especially friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.

The rooms were clean but very small with no closets and very little space for suitcases and clothing.

Close to Sarit Exhibition. Very Safe and comfortable. Kenyans speak English well in general. The staff were proficient in English and smile a lot. Room furniture we're compact and smartly integrated in the walls. The lighting was very customizable.

Kenya suffers intermittent power outages. I understand this is less than before, but power returns quickly. In lift, in Exhibition and even the airport. Rooms were truely compact .

The property is great, service is on top especially with the reception. as for food and beverage, sadly I can’t say so.

this was my second time to this hotel. I was not so happy with the way rooftop bar&restaurant and this is the second time it happened to me. staff from the bar told me to get food from the restaurant at the restaurant they clearly told us that they only serve food in the room and we couldn’t sit at the restaurant and eat from there. at the same time there were guests at the restaurant, that left a bitter taste in us. we ended up requesting for wine glasses to go and enjoy our own wine for the evening.

This was an excellent experience. The rooms were great, the staff was outstanding (including the manager) and the rooftop bar (& restaurant) was convenient and cool. When I read the reviews before coming I was hesitant due to some comments about the small Rooms (they are totally fine, modern & lovely) and the lack of a Porter (ridiculous—they give you a cart to wheel the luggage up—absolutely NO problem). I will definitely be back.

They could provide small soap, shampoo, body wash bottles.

We were able to book last minute without problem. The staff was friendly and the Chek in/check out process was smooth. The room was nice and comfortable with clean bed sheets and towels, free water bottles and free instant coffee/tea. Super safe too as to get into the hotel we passed through double control.

The shower could have been a little more practical. The door of the cabin was a little hard to close from the inside and only had waterfall shower head, which was not too convenient.
