The location is perfect. You could walk to downtown, plus easy freeway access. Room was large, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good WiFi and tech amenities, and a Keurig! I was alone but felt safe. I didn’t see a lot of the property but enjoyed the decor, lovely lobby, and lounge area.

The breakfast was sub par for me. I chose bacon, hash brown Pattie’s and scrambled eggs. Eggs were decent, nothing special, the bacon was over cooked and pretty sure the hash brown Pattie’s were left over from the day before, if not 2 days before. And it wasn’t hot. Didn’t see any fresh fruit. I would stick to prepackaged food like cereal or yogurt or bagel and schemers next time.

This hotel is in a great location central to the charming old town, everything is within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfy. They serve a very adequate free breakfast. Not fancy but good enough scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt pre-made bagels. Staff was very nice.

I liked everything about it. It is nice but not fancy but definitely perfect for a business stay. The Conference facilities look great with a lot to see when you are not in a meeting. This also is great for a family stay or meeting with friends to see the Gold Country.

Our room, one king bed, was spacious. The bath room was also large. The room was at the end of the hall which gave us windows on 2 sides. Outside, the window, pink dogwood trees were in bloom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet at night for sound sleeping. We never had to use our car, but were able to walk easily to our destinations--Italian restaurant across the street, event center 4 blocks away for concert.

Large televisions in lobby, although the sound was turned off, thank goodness.

I was pleasantly surprised at the buffet breakfast. They had everything I could have wanted, and more! The juice options and hot tea/coffee along with a great assortment of breakfast items made it wonderful. They also had a "happy hour" in the lobby and my husband and I enjoyed a beverage before heading out into the night for the Cornish Christmas festivities. Everyone in the hotel was so nice and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay.

I didn't have breakfast but there's a free cocktail hour in the evenings. The bartender was super pleasant and fun to be around. Room was spacious - outdated tv but we didn't use it. Could use stronger lighting but overall I was surprised at the size fo the room and the sun that came in.

I was on the third floor and the AC and water units were super loud. Whenever they would cycle is was very audible. Other than that, something that's out of their control but worth noting is if you are planning to travel by train, Uber/Lyft to/from Colfax is very sparse to the point it should not be used. Just rent a car - the only taxi is "Fast Taxi" and it's terrible.

Staff! They were so friendly. When I asked where I could refill my water bottle, they offered fresh water bottles. My husband had dropped several credit cards in the elevator and some kind person turned them in at the front desk and they were quickly able to assist us when we asked about any lost credit cards. I emailed several weeks in advance letting them know about my late checkin (checked in morning after instead of night of) and I had no problems with the checkin at all. They made the experience very smooth despite a unique situation. Rooms were clean and seemingly soundproof from what we could tell and had all the amenities we needed. Loved the microwave and fridge though we didn't use them but great to have in a pinch. Towels and linens felt very fresh. I actually like the corner store in the lobby as well. That came in handy too. And the complimentary breakfast was yummy!

Perhaps more/better lighting in the bedroom area and wish they didn't run out of sausage at the breakfast. Hah. But not very many complaints to speak of otherwise!

Great location with ample parking. High security. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms clean and efficient. They have full breakfast in the morning and afternoon cocktail hour.

I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it, so we stayed there this time on my recommendation, and I was not disappointed.

The breakfast selection was very good. Lots of variety with hot foods as well as cold items and some fruit.

The key cards don't work well at all. We met several others that had trouble too. Since you need the card(s) to use the elevator to go up, enter the exterior building doors, and the actual room, it was frustrating having to keep inserting and removing the cards. One time we must have tried twenty times and finally got our room to unlock by inserting/removing the card as fast as we could about six times in a row.

Breakfast was great! One of the best ever in all my hotel stays. Like the complimentary drinks too! Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at!!!

Rate is a bit pricey. Third floor room had a lot of humming vibration noise from possibly a rooftop fan or air conditioner unit.

Beautiful very large room with 2 TV's-- one for the sitting area, the other across from the bed. Nice linens, great pillows, plenty of towels. Everything was in very good condition and it was very clean.

It seems petty overall but the heater was very noisy and spat out cold air before it got warm. We ended up turning it off at night.
