Spacy room.refrigerator We had a balkony and there was Lidl supermarket nearby. Riga is a top destination for the travelers wishing to spend their free days in a city with inexhaustible history and limitless cultural choices. The city has a unique identity and when talking to its multicultural inhabitants there is a chance to connect with the city at a deeper level so that there is a space to design new routes and places to dive into...last but not least is its unique climate - perfect for artistically minded travelers and people who enjoy foggy and rainy days. However we were lucky and it was almost 35 degrees during most of the days of our stay.

There could be more places to go out around the hotel

The room was bigger than I expected. It was clean and I was provided with towels and shower gel. I liked that I had my own bathroom and a nice view of the window. There was also a kitchen for everyone staying at the hotel; they could use it for free.

The only thing I was not happy with was that I could easily hear people talking in the corridor or next door in the kitchen as if they were right next to me. But that's nothing a pair of earplugs or headphones wouldn't solve. Also, the location of the hotel and the price really made up for that. :)

The location was perfect for a 14 hour layover. It was super easy to take the bus 22 from/to the airport. It was also nice to walk around the local neightborhood (which totally felt safe as a solo female on a Friday night), as well as walk to the old town. It was great value for the money. The receptionist was very friendly and recommended a beautiful park to visit, which was lovely. The room was obviously basic as expected with that price but just perfect for my needs. The check in and check out were convenient.

The mattress had lost its firmness. I did sleep well for one night though as I’m not easily bothered.

I am a big fan of the staff. Because we were staying over to attend a nerdy convention for two days, the receptionist got to see us in very over exaggerated costumes. She was inquiring us with genuine interest and non-judgemental attitude. In short, we felt very warm thanks to the welcoming staff. Same goes to the cleaning lady. Always smiling and showing interest in how things are going for us. I liked the sitting area in the kitchen. It was cute and simple. I enjoyed the room we booked. I think the price was appropriate and our needs were met, more or less.

I understand that it might be difficult to maintain a working and resourceful kitchen with this many people coming in and out. Whilst the kitchen was clean I felt there could've been some more appliances. Or at least the hotel could propose for the visitors to bring their own for more comfort. I wish there was a fan or somekind of a programmable ventilation system. Not really a complaint but I just felt that there could've been an another small common area. I was chatting away with incredible people in the kitchen and wished to take it to a couch or somewhere a bit more comfortable. The kitchen was also small so it would make sense to consider another space for some leisurely chat.

For the price, the housing was absolutely amazing. We had our own bathroom with towels and soap. The bed was comfortable. There was a table with only one chair, though, so maybe add one more so that people travelling in pairs can both sit at the same table together.

The room was a bit dirty - there was a layer of dust on the wardrobe and the shelves (above the table and the bed). Also, the bedside table was on the wrong side of the bed (possibly) because there was only one electrical outlet on that side, so you had to choose between having your phone plugged in or plugging in the lamp.

The services, the place, the English level of the receptionists and their nice behaviour, the clean room, there is almost no noise, there is a vending machine at every floor (ex. you can buy coffee or water)

In another hotel (OK Hotel), there was a restaurant at the ground floor. They don't offer breakfast. I noticed that my room was a bit tiny and even claustrophobic. The hairdrier was missing and the mirror in my room was extremely thin and tiny. The tents can barely block sunlight during the first hours of the day. The air conditioner was missing (and the weather was so hot).

This place looks more like a student dormitory. It is located in a functionalist-style house from 1930's, which is interesting historically, but lacks an elevator. The rooms are rather cramped, and the common kitchen is in a rather poor shape. Wi-Fi was there, and self check-in was very easy. The hotel is 3 min walk from the bus/tram stop and 10 min away from the city center.

Can be a bit noisy, but not too bad

The room had everything one needs and the bed was very comfortable which is bonus as I often struggle. It's easy to reach by bus for the airport snd it was near to where I needed to go. There are also some nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The radiator was very hot and it was difficult to figure out how to turn it down. The reception is closed after 7pm and I was unable to reach anyone. Furthermore, my room was opposite the community kitchen so unfortunately it was very noisy and disturbed my sleep

Bridge Hotel is really close to the City Centre - all it takes to get there is to cross X bridge or walk to national library and cross a X bridge there and you are on the old town. Also it’s pretty close to Olimpia shopping center with some food and supermarket in case you need something close. Room was a pretty minimalistic - basic bathroom, bed, table and a closet. Everything that you need to take a sleep and go sightseeing during the day. I recommend it if you went to Riga for a city break.

Maybe the only disadvantage were a pretty think walls so you can hear every louder noise or toilet flush, but if you are not a complete silence maniac then you’ll probably don’t mind it.

Great value!!! Hotel has a very peaceful feel to it, neighborhood is great and quiet, with lots of wondeful and delicious cafes within walking distance, also a large park is nearby. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly and warm!!! Location is amazing, very accessible to all places in the city, close to old town, city center and close airport (few minutes walk to stop for bus 22 that goes direct to airport). I would recommend staying here.
