Really nice little hotel in perfect location, most sights are within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rather spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with amenities such as a kettle and tea/instant coffee. The bathroom actually had enough space for toiletries etc, unlike in other hotels where you often don't know where to put your stuff. Comfy bed! The view out of the window was not that picturesque as we just saw the backyard (but ok, who books a hotel to look out of the window, we were out sightseeing all day anyway, so we didn't mind). Our room was very quiet as it didn't face the street, but there are some bars next door, so I guess it can get loud at weekends if you have a room that faces the street as some have suggested here. It might be a good idea to request a back room when booking (we had a back room and stayed at the weekend and heard no noise at all). We enjoyed our stay there and can definitely recommend it!

For breakfast there was a great variety of sausages, toast, pancakes, croissants etc, but no cereals. The coffee could have been better.

Very well located, close to everything, easy to get to and move, the room is large, comfortable, good attention, the check-in said that until 10 pm and my flight was delayed I arrived at midnight, I told them that I was late and they told me that there would be no problem, that there would be someone at the reception to wait for me, the breakfast was very good The boy who attended me at the reception was very friendly, polite and very handsome. I never asked him the name.😜

My room was on the second floor just above the reception, next to the elevator, with a window to the street with a very good view, I thought there would be a lot of noise from the bars that are around, my stay was from Thursday to Sunday, I also read some comments that said that the noise of the bars was felt. Well, they are very well soundproofed because it was minimal what was felt with respect to the bars and nothing with respect to the reception.

The location is terrific -- 5 - 7 minutes from bus station (some cobblestones) and the market, and (going the other direction) into the old town. Also can pick up a tour bus or boat nearby. Breakfast was good - a selection of egg dishes, pastries, coffee and juice.

I can sleep through anything, so it wasn't a problem for me BUT the clubs on the street were noisy until 5am and my room faced the street. The room was a little stuffy but you can open the windows if you can sleep through noise. (note: I was there on a weekend. There may not be as much noise during the week)

Location was great, within the old town and just minutes away from restaurants. The room was cosy and bed comfy. Toilet was right next to the radiator so that was awesome. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. We completely forgot to pack our travel adapter and she was kind enough to lend us one for the night as we arrived late. We had to check out early to catch a bus before breakfast time and they packed sandwiches, bananas and bottles of water for us to have on the road. It’s these little things that speak volume and we are extremely grateful for the hospitality.

The shower curtain likely hasn’t been changed/washed in awhile as there was a musky smell. Had to hose it down with soap and warm water.

I liked everything about it. The room was big. There was a window you could open into the courtyard. A fridge and kettle + teas/coffee was in the room. There was a safe. The bathroom was large and the bathtub was very long. Our request for check-in and check-out was honoured. The breakfast was varied, with local options and more European tastes. The staff was very enthusiastic and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better price and location.

The service was good, especially the young man in the breakfast was friendly and had a great attitude. Breakfast was tasty, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians as well, which is great! Gluten free diet was also well managed by request. The room was large and tidy. The hotel is located in the old town, but the windows are specially made so that the rooms were totally quiet. I'd absolutely stay here again if visiting Riga once more.

It was all good, nothing to complain.

Brilliant location a few minutes from the centre but very quiet A really lovely , calming room Beautiful dining room in the basement with exposed brick vaulting

I really liked the breakfast which was the standard cheese, meats Brad and a very nice homemade apple cake. I also discovered individually packaged cheesecake type breakfast food in chocolate - it’s the orange package with the crow which was delicious My son was not so keen

The location is perfect.Very close to all the attractions. The staff are very attentive. The breakfast was very varied and delicious.

The only thing is that the restaurant and bar were closed.I had chosen the hotel because of its restaurant as I don't like going out at night. The website wasn't. updated. There were also no minibars in room. The staff did their very best to compensate for this

The staffs are always friendly and give us help/recommedations. The breakfast is served until 11:00 on weekend, so it is perfect for people get up late. The hotel is just located in the old town. It is very convenient to get scenic spots on foot within 5-20 min.

Smoke exhaust pipe of a restaurant kitchen is just opposite to the room facing inner yard. Therefore, you may feel strong smoke flavor when you open the window, especially during 6pm-8pm.
