Excellent hotel! The beds were comfy and they added 2 small beds for the kids that we had requested. It's worth it to pay a little extra to get a room with the view to Old Riga, the view over the river to the city is simply fantastic, especially late at night! Really the main reason we chose this hotel. The bathroom had a full bath, which made cleaning up while traveling with young children easier. An interesting fact: they have a wall with photos of foreign dignitaries that have stayed at the hotel previously, and President Bush along with HRH King George are among the past guests. Neat! Since we were leaving to the airport at 5AM they gave us our breakfast packaged to go, which was unexpected but much appreciated! Thank you for the excellent service.

Since it's an older hotel the style of the rooms is starting to look a tad dated. They will likely need to do renovations soon. There's nothing wrong with the rooms, just the style feels dated (older furniture, ancient hairdryer etc).

We are glad that we have chosen this hotel! It was important for us that there is a comfortable place to sleep for our 6yo child, and here was a good sofa that was prepared for us as a bed by the time of our arrival. We got a spacious room on the 2nd floor with 2 large windows on different sides and with a wonderful view! It was possible to prepare tea and coffee in the room and it was a great plus for us. Bathroom was nice and comfortable, beds we’re comfortable. Parking is next to the hotel building (it cost us 12€ per night; just ask all the information about the parking at the reception). Breakfast - amazing!!! So many different foods and everyone will find what’s good for him! (Our 6yo child doesn’t eat everything, but here he had fruits, croissants and very tasty porridge with strawberry jam.) Only pluses for us during this one night stay!

I travelled with my family for a holiday to Riga. Location is near the National library (which is a good visit in itself). So, it's on the other side of the river and the old town. We had a problem with the room, which Marta at the reception gladly resolved by shifting us to a better room. River facing room was new and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was excellent. Cookies and fruit available near reception for day-time munching. Enjoyed our 4 night stay there. Will return back.

Non-river side facing rooms feel a bit dated and need a fresh coat.

Breakfast was great, room was good as well, clean and cosy. Great staff members communication, really good location (just 15mins walking to the old town), room was packed with all necessary stuff (iron, water, shower robe). In general really great hotel and good stay if not 1 thing...

Air condition was not working and that was the only but really big issue. I was told that none of conditioners were working, but I was not warned about it before travelling. My room was on the sun side and it was really hot and not impossible to sleep starting from 6am so we had a few terrible mornings.

The view is perfect since I had view at the old city and the river A certain inconvenient is that if you have to go on foot to the old city and beyond it you have to cross a bridge ,that means extra 800 m of walk. The bed was extremely comfortable one of the best I have experienced so far. The breakfast was very good .

The time slot of serving of breakfast is reduced, during week days , that is 10.00 a.m. When somebody arrives late at the hotel. He has to rush in the morning for breakfast. An another inconvenient is that there is a lack of restaurant in the premises.

Check in was fast and friendly. The person at the reception was eager to help. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room had tea-kettle and Nespresso. Water and snack in the lobby for check inners. The location is rather comfortable. Old town is across the bridge.

The sofa-bed was a bit broken and the room needs refreshment, especially the bathroom. We thought that snacks in the lobby will be available also later, but apparently they were cleaned away when all the check ins have been made (actually not such a big deal :))

View, breakfast, location all superb.

There were a few issues with the room. The first room had lots of recent stains on the carpet, possibly from a previous guest's dog. the room was quickly changed. The second room needed some maintenance - the plug was broken, so the bath didn't stay filled; the shower seal was missing, so the floor became flooded; the window mechanism was broken so the window fell partly out when opened; the door handle to the balcony came off when we opened it. We worked round these issues, as we didn't want to change room again. Otherwise, the room was superb!

Everything from the reception until we left. Everyone made their utmost to arrange a good stay for us. Terrible weather that everyone was commenting but we had a GREAT time anyway. Same weather as in Stockholm where we come from. Good and nice breakfast logistically very good done. Good food. Nicely presented and nice young personnel serving etc. I was so happy to come back to Riga & Radisson. It was a nice place in late 90's when I stayed there for business. I missed the big wonderful pool, though. Understand that it is expensive to keep in shape.

The room was excellent, the décor was modern and very fresh. Tea, coffee and water provided in the room free of charge as well as good quality shampoo and shower gel etc provided in the bathroom. I was on the 8th floor with really good views across the river to the Old Town. Breakfast was great, especially the cooked to order poached eggs with avocado. As well as a good selection breakfast buffet. We had a few business meetings in the hotel, the staff more than happy to provide coffee etc. The price was also very competitive and offered great value at just over €330 for the three night stay. If you are looking for a good hotel in Riga – look no further.

Had a couple of occasions with the key card not working after the maid cleaned the room. No real big issue but a little annoying to have to back down to reception to get the card reactivated.

The room was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The decor was pleasant and the bathroom was also very clean and luxurious. The shower had enough water pressure. The view from the balcony over the Daugava River and the city beyond was amazing.

Normally I would be able to find things I do not like about a hotel, but it is difficult to find something wrong with this hotel. Even the air conditioner worked properly! Perhaps the convenience of a few USB connectors around the room would have been useful.
