The hotel was very quirky, so many interesting pieces scattered across the entire building, design furniture and so on. Every time I looked around I was finding an unusual detail or object. Very well designed and structured, very clean, quiet and the restaurant was also high quality. I would definitely come back, highly recommended!

There was nothing I did not like, if I really have to pick something, perhaps is the distance from town centre, but at the same time the hotel is very well connected and surrounded by interesting places to visit, including the Philarmonie Luxembourg (concert hall). The price was a little high but at the same time it was worth it, the quality has always a price...

My wife and I really liked this hotel, the room was very clean with lots of space, and the bathroom was very good! The breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety and all very tasty. All the staff were kind and accommodating. It was all modern with nice decorations.

The only thing I could mention is that you have to pay for parking, the hotel is far away from the city centre, and is huge, with lots of free spaces, so it is not a case of charging because parking was in short supply, they could have offered free parking, then I would have given the hotel a 10.

Useful location near tram stop (amazing free public transport- 15 mins to main station on tram T1) and a small retail complex with a supermarket and cafes/restaurants (mostly open on week days only). Philharmonie concert hall and modern art museum are over the road. Quirky colourful decor with fun elements, such as a mirrored lift and masks on the bedside lights. The staff were attentive, although check-in was slower than expected (there was no queue), with nearly all my details being re-requested. Very comfortable bed and pillows in the spacious, quiet and clean room. Bathroom was also well-lit and nice with a hot shower, although I didn't like the all-in-one hard soap to be used for both body and hair, even if it is eco-friendly. There was a small safe and fridge (containing a welcome bottle of water) in the room and the TV included international channels e.g. from the BBC and ITV. There were no issues with the free WiFi. There was a great spread at breakfast, including both hot (scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, boiled potatoes, beans and mushrooms) and cold food (fruit salad, plain yoghurt, cheese, charcuterie board, cold vegetables, lemon and chocolate cakes, pastries, bread, jams, cereals). The staff made hot drinks upon demand and there was delicious freshly squeezed orange juice (and others) with an option to make one's own choice using a selection of fruit. There is a bakery and co-working space on site and the reception sells a variety of Mama merchandise. The restaurant (also with a fun colourful decor) appeared busy in the evenings and there was a rooftop bar which I didn't visit (there was some late night noise in my 4th floor room but am unsure of the origin).

The €50 per night deposit was unexpected and, in my view, unnecessary, especially given that I had prepaid. Do they really have so many people causing damage/stealing things? Luckily I had a credit card with me, but that is not always the case and I don't recall seeing this detail on the booking.com paperwork. The horrid bathroom soap.

The hotel was spotless, Christmas decoration was so beautiful and zen. I loved the unusual/unique decorations, every day was a day of exploring something new. Staff was amazing, kind and accommodating. Our room was quiet and comfortable! Good selection of movies, good breakfast. Easy commute to the city centre. Easily walkable (30minutes). We took the tram as we were short in time, and we wanted to explore the city and surroundings. Tram and bus stops few minutes walk. Thank you for our stay and making our trip more enjoyable! I would definitely stay again.

Is more a recommendation/personal preference: -kettle and tea in the room -more selection of food in the bakery -if they would have sauna would make it the perfect stay

Really nice and interesting design, most comfy bed, very spacious room with free movies, delicious breakfast with lots of fresh and nice food and even barista coffee with almond milk if needed :) Free transport to city Center by tram just 5min away from hotel

The staff seemed to be not interested in the guests. No welcome greeting from the reception when you walked in. Check-in staff was a bit confused (told us to enjoy the roof top bar, which was closed for a private function; told us the wrong breakfast times), no hot water at breakfast for tea for three days as insulation can seemed to be broken or not refilled in time (although we informed staff that water was not hot), no juice machine for 3 days as it broke on Sundays but was not replaced after, breakfast room was very chilly as staff was leaving the door open while going outside

Unique, stylish, modern and pretty comfortable place. Located in a business quarter of the city alongside with skyscrapers, Europarlament and other modern buildings. All in all good experience, breakfast is a bit overpriced, but you get a huge variety of choice, equipped with fresh products and homemade buns/bread/deserts.

Our room were located on the 1st floor of the building and until 1 am we were struggling to get some sleep due to the party/music/voices which were happening on the ground restaurant floor, for such quality of hotel and this price I found this unacceptable.

We loved everything in this Hotel! The location in the “Quartier Européen” surrounded by beautiful and modern buildings is great and the fast, uncomplicated and comfortable public transportation is 2 steps away and “free” 😉. In 10 min. you’re in downtown Luxemburg so no need to stay in the crowded downtown area. The whole design of the Hotel is super original and makes the whole experience a quite unique one. You will find small, nice and fun details in every corner. The room had enough storage space for all our clothing and was very clean. Bathroom was very clean, the size is good and the shower was also very good. The fact that they’re providing solid all in one shampoo and shower soap is a great way to contribute to a reduction of plastic bottles. And the quality is also great!! The Breakfast was perfect! Everything was fresh and there was always enough for everybody. Fresh pressed juices or the possibility to make your own mix is something that you don’t get everywhere- not even in all 4*Hotels. The Staff was super nice, helpful and always seemed to be in a good mood, which also gives one the feeling of being welcome. We travel a lot and we will definitely be looking for other “Mama Shelter” around the world to book our next stay! I will totally recommend this hotel to friends and family!!

The restorant in front of the hotel is booked with other outside guests. I sat on an empty table, ordered a meal for dinner, and after 25 minutes, another waiter came and transferred me inside "as someone else booked the table while I was sitting". It looks as a nice and quiet hotel, but each night there is live music and a lot of young people. Outside guests should not have priority. Also it is more than 520 euros for 2 nights (without breakfast included). No liquid shampoo or condtitioner. Just hard soap. Too expensive!

I was surprised that the hotel only has 3 stars. It has the level of a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very clean. The shower is amazing. The best shower I ever had in a hotel. We had a coffee with croissant at the "boulangerie". Just perfect for us. Public transport is only 100m away and it takes you for free to the city centre. Underground parking available. Excellent restaurant.

Breakfast buffet is expensive (25eur pp). That's why we only had a small breakfast at the "boulangerie".

Liked everything. The room, the breakfast, the amazing food at the restaurant, close to some nice lunch places and bus stops, staff was friendly and helpful and the working area and the little bakery downstairs both convenient and comfortable. Highly recommend. Especially for a work trip.

This would maybe not be my first choice if I was only travelling for leisure. I would then probably pick a hotel closer to downtown. Otherwise everything was perfect.
