The hotel is very well situated right next to bus stops, which makes it very easy and convenient to get back to the hotel or go to the airport/ city center (6-10 min to city center) - transport is free in Luxembourg so the hotel is a great location even though it is not central. The design of the room is very pretty, beds were super comfy and staff was very nice. The room also had tea/coffee/water which were much appreciated in the morning. The lobby/ bar of the hotel is very nice.

It did not bother us as we only stayed one night and also traveled as a couple, but there is not separation for shower/ room. The shower could also use an enclosing door, it was very easy to get the carpet in the room wet. We also had some louder neighbors upstairs with a dog (??) which barked in the morning.

New hotel with nice modern, decor; great location (quiet, ca. 15/20 minutes from town centre/ main train station, bus from front of the hotel every 15 mins) and all Luxembourg public transport is free!; competent, helpful staff; exceptionally clean (cleaners always at work); good value for what I paid (breakfast included); quality breakfast options; good soundproofing; didn't bother us that there weren't many dinner options very close by as the old town was close eniugh and we were there every day anyway.

Breakfast coffee not very good quality, very weak for European standards, even the sachet instant coffee tasted better. For a four star I expected them to provide body lotion and shower caps. Open shower cubicle lets water spray on the floor, you have to squeeze into the far corner of the cubicle to minimise this; so you can't really enjoy the large shower without getting water everywhere.

Immediately on walking into this hotel we were impressed by the stylish setting. Fantastic customer service from checking in to checking out. We opened the door to our room on the second floor. Yet another wow. large window seating area. A table and stool with beautiful cushions and furnishings. Bottled water replenished daily. Also bus stops outside the hotel can take you all over Luxembourg free and transfer to and from the airport free. There are a number of restaurants near to the hotel including a great Brasserie. The wonderful caring and attentive staff made our stay just exceptional. Cannot fault this hotel in any way. Can't wait to return and stay at The Mercure Luxembourg Off Kirchberg.

Nothing. Cannot fault this hotel at all. I stay at many hotels throughout the year. Many lessons could be learnt from this hotel. Exceptional 10 out of 10.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. Kind staff, a very good room, nice AC and very quiet. They cleaned the room every day, the breakfast was nice and we could sit on the terrace during breakfast. The bed was big and comfy and the shower was amazing. The bus (free) to the city center was right in front of the hotel. It takes around 10 minutes to get to the city. The hotel is in a quiet area. We had a great stay!!

The only minus would be that the hotel has no restaurant and the noise from the bathroom ventilation. But we had dinner in the place next to the restaurant, which was amazing. It was 30 degrees outside so the breakfast room was a bit hot, they didn’t have AC there, not sure why..

The room was realy nice, like in the pictures, with a big double bed (which it was organized even our room was booked with two single beds) and they bring us a cot for our baby as well, but it was without a mattress and they helped with an extra blanket. We received a bottle of water and some juices in the fridge every day, plus coffee and tea. The shower doesn’t have a door, but it looks nice. Breakfast was extraordinary, with many varieties of fruits, cheese, salmon fume and others, plus a kid corner, good coffee and fresh juices. Also they cleaned every day the room.

The baby cot didn’t have a mattress and it wasn’t comfortable to sleep for our baby, even with the blanket improvisation, it will be good next time to have a mattress for the cot. The bus is coming at 30 min on Sunnday and bank holidays, or not working some of them.

Very weird design with the open showers, very uncomfortable in tween rooms where you stay with a friend, we asked for the closed one but we were told that the hotel is fully booked. Also it was super uncomfortable that there were no power sockets near the beds, only USB portals, I guess most iPhone users do not have USB cables. We had to charge our phones either in the bathroom or near the exit door.

The hotel is stylish, beautifully designed. The first room we were offered looked very different to what we were expecting, but we asked for It to be changed and the second room was excellent. The members of staff at the reception dealt with our request with grace. I loved the bathroom area. Bed was big and comfortable. Glazing is very good and it's quiet with the windows closed. But I think the area is quite quiet anyway, you can hear the birds singing. There is a direct bus going to the city centre, with the stop right outside of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, with good choice and constant top ups from the kitchen. All in all we enjoyed staying here.

I did not like the first room we were offered. I actually think if we stayed in that room, our experience would have been much wore.

- the room looks like on the pictures, the hotel overall has nice decor and feel - the bed is comfortable - good bath products by the French brand Nuxe ( absolute plus!) - there are several restaurants in the area - easy parking on the weekend ( for free)

- the blanket was too thin and for two people slightly too small - the room smelled a bit funky when entering, we had to open the 2 windows for several hours - one can hear the neighbours ( not soundproof!)

The staff is nice and helpful, property is really clean and the location was nice - only 10 minutes to the centre with a free transportation. Rooms are nicely renovated - for the cheap price really great value. Reception 24/7 was also a plus

The bed was very very very uncomfortable, if we would stay longer than 3 days we would probably die from sleep deficit. The bathroom is open with see trough glass so if you’re staying with friends (like we did) it is not the best option.

Very clean and looked a new hotel. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and the bus is free! It was about 15 minutes from the station. The staff were friendly and answered all the questions ( my husband asked about education but she answered it with smile. Of course, we could use English so I could understand what she said. I really liked this hotel because it was so clean and comfortable room. It wasn’t too hot but humid warmth outside. I was so glad that the room has an air conditioner. I could sleep well!
