Very helpful & friendly staff. Helped me for room upgrades and managed to keep our 4 rooms on the same floor. Good food. The beach was amazing, very clean; water so clear that I can see where I'm stepping to. Not a fan of toilet bidet so next time I'll ask first.

Breakfast spread was just nice for us. In room dining was good but for both dining experiences, food taste could be better and there should be more choices on the in room menu. Need better wheelchair accessibility to the beach, it was quite a labour to bring my mother to the beach because there was no specific pathway for wheelchair. Grass doesn't really accommodate wheelchair movement.

All the staff. Friendly and courteous. Especially the front office staff and bellman.Special mention goes to Duty Manager Mr.Azree, who goes all out and ensuring my stay in Thistle is a pleasant one. Will be back because of all these remarkable and outstanding staff. Breakfast was great, too. Keep it up.!!

1. Location: Secluded location and distance away from other establishments like shopping centre, street food and other external restaurants/bars etc. 2. Beach has room for improvement but sea water is clean. 3. Day trippers are allowed to facilitate the beach and pool/shower facilities. (Please correct me if I'm wrong) 4. Do checks on the expiry date on food items sold at your convenience store. ( I bought a packet of biscuits which had its expiry date of 1 year ago.!!!!

Had to wait almost 2 hours to check in due to too many guests. The management needs to improve the check-in method to be more user-friendly and smooth without making guests wait too long to get their turn to deal with the staff at the check-in counter. However, the staff at the counter gave me extra time to check out until 1pm. Thank you

Thistle has been always our favourite resort for quick family getaway from Kuala Lumpur City. While the hotel's prime location, inviting swimming pools, and scenic beachfront remain noteworthy, the aging facilities detract from the overall experience. What was once a great establishment now shows signs of wear and tear, impacting the comfort and ambiance. Despite these shortcomings, the captivating surroundings might still make it a viable choice for those who prioritize the destination over the accommodation itself.

This hotel's charm is overshadowed by aging facilities that diminish the overall comfort. The noisy air conditioners and fans disrupt tranquility, the slippery walkways near the kids' pool pose safety concerns, and the toilets often require a second flush. While it may have potential, addressing these issues would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The room is spacious and clean. I get the ground floor garden view, so the distance to lobby, pool, beach and breakfast is close. The air cond and the shower is great. The pool is the best at Thistle and the private beach is clean and awesome. The room service is also good. The breakfast is variety and delicious. Thank you for the great service. I hope to come again someday and stay a little bit longer.

The refrigerator is not working at my room. Since I am staying for 1 night only it is OK. The back garden is not properly manage. It is so dark on the night. It should put some ambient light to make it beautiful and safe. The carpark is many but again the night lighting is not there. You need to use torch light if you park at far side. I got toad at my bathroom. I don't know where it come from. I just shoo it away to the front door.

The view from the lobby is superb. The food was good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy.

The hot and cold water is difficult to control since it is outdated. The room did not smell nice and fresh. The TV channel also needs to be updated. I used my Netflix account to get good movies. The reception at the counter took more than 20 minutes for check-in, and there's only me there.

Room was clean, spacious and they accommodated to my request for a room nearest to the pool or beach as I have an elderly with walking difficulty. Breakfast selection was okay, quite delicious although they need to replenish some of the food faster during breakfast.

During breakfast they initially refused to open up the section at the back. They wanted to cramp everyone at the front section, which I don't know why as it would be better if everyone were more spaced out during this ongoing covid situation. Only when we said the tables were all occupied did they reluctantly open up the section at the back. Management should look into this matter. There was also only one dustbin in the room which was in the toilet, which was very inconvenient for us when we wanted to throw rubbish.

The hotel is a family hotel. They have many facilities for family activities. The big clean pool and the clean and clear private beach is my family favourite. The room we took was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We even had a buffet dinner at the hotel. Delicious food. Thank you to Ms. Asma Hani from Fresh Restaurant for her kindness and good hospitality. Also to Mr. Khairi the receptionist who explained to me about the room situation with patience and kindness as well. I appreciated good hospitality.

There are always things around the hotel that can be improved for the better. So that from time to time guests can feel comfortable and enjoy their stay.

It has both the luxury of a seaview & nice swimming pool. The room was very clean although the furniture had seen better days. The bed was comfortable & huge. The ‘king’ bed was actually 2 twin beds put together. One of the two beds was slanted ie lowered at a angle, so i constantly had to roll to the other side.

There was only one small lift for a long stretch of rooms. It would be a nightmare especially if there were more occupants. What annoys me the most was that oftentimes it skipped levels. so i had to wait the lift to go up & down a few times b4 it actually stopped at my level. Definitely prefers the stairs at this point. My room came with a sitting area (think it is a standard feature) by the window but don’t think it serves any good coz the pvc cover can be very cold & it was not covered with cloth. There was no wardrobe, or may be the doors were missing.

the room is spacious the bed can fit to 2 adults and 2 kids the pool is fantastic the sea view from my room was wonderful the breakfast buffet is variety, affordable and delicious the security is tight the surroundings is so happening, got zumba dance at the pool.. the hotel is so lively

children playroom not so attractive the gym and karaoke room are located separately from the hotel room and gym are locked, need to look for the staff to open it the private beach nothing special even they offered sea activities with payment the hotel lift sometime stuck not moving
