Lovely rooftop space but would have been nice for that bar to be staffed in evenings. Access to pool on the waterfront is excellent! Usually costs 30 euros for the day and you get it for free, lots of space, not overly crowded, get service of food/drinks to sunbeds.

Water was often not full in gym and the gym that is advertised shares a space with the spa so felt very self conscious about being quiet - especially when using the running machine! There is also mould on the headrest of the jacuzzi! Rooms were clean with minimal wear and tear. Internal balconies get no light at all. We tried the breakfast on the first day - it was terrible. Fruit wasn't ripe. Very few healthy options. Eggs were bad.

Location was great very close to the ferry or restaurants and shops. The breakfast - very good, lot of options you can choose from. The stuff is also very nice. The best way to communicate what you want is to point to the selected food and show on your hand how much you want. Great selection of coffees (late, cappuccino, espresso). Gym - although it's very basic it's good to have a bit of workout in case you want to maintain your workout schedule. There is one elliptical and 2 treadmills. A simple station with dumbbells and a compound machine for chest workouts. There is a water station + free fruit (apple) for your selection. Sauna - in the same room as the gym. Very nice fin sauna. There are also big towels you can use free of charge. Pool - if not crowded you can spend there nice time relaxing either in the pool or in the jacuzzi. Possibility to park in the garage - we had rented a car and was so thankful that we have the option to park there (as there are not many options on the streets). There are around 6 free spots in the garage and you need to check prior you want to park there if there is available space.

Gym/wellness - there is no changing room, so in case you want to visit the gym and sauna at the same time be prepared that you probably have to change in the restrooms. The sauna can be sometimes also turned off and it takes time until it's heated. My recommendation is to check in prior weather the sauna is turned on, if not you need to turn it on by yourself (easy) and in 30 min. it's ready to use.

Hotel staff, cleanliness, location was great and the room with a sea view was also good.

Room for a lot of improvement in the breakfast. Yes it is included in the room price we pay and yes there are quite a few options, but the QUALITY is really low. Apart from eggs there is low quality canned beans, cheap bread, lowest quality of canned olives, cheap quality juices, canned fruits and the list goes on. Suggestions: instead of cheap and low quality stuff, offer for example: Maltese bread, fresh seasonal fruits, fresh squeezed juices, cooked beans... You could maybe reduce options, but increase the quality or even maybe charge 5 or 10 euros more, but the quality of a four star hotel breakfast should be apart. It is not nice to eat really low quality food for a week.

We stayed at one of the Deluxe suites and it was amazing!!! Very clean and spacious room, big bathroom. Great breakfast with open buffet and it had everything we needed, even my brother who is vegan could eat a lot of the things. The staff was amazing! So helpful! Very smiling and caring. The outdoor swimming pool was really good, just across the road. Very nice staff there as well. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely come back!!

Really nothing. A little thing could be more entertainment/activities during the day/evening. But really it did not ruin our stay.

The hotel is very well located, close to the ferry and bus stops. There are many restaurants nearby, wherever you go. Organized boat trips, island visit tours can be found within 5 minutes. The room was super, cleaned every day, the staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. The coffee is freshly made and not machine-made instant crap! The welness area is also good, it's nice to have a bath after a long day. It was very positive that our flight left at night and after check-out (11:00) we could leave our luggage for safekeeping and use the spa, shower, changging rooms and toilets the whole day, before departure. In the evenings we were given cake in the room, it's a very nice gesture.

On our side, only one of the two lifts was working. This is not enough for a hotel with 12 floors, and there were many long waits. The outdoor pool is not in the building, but across the street, about 100 metres away. As it is a public pool, it was so crowded in the afternoon that you could barely fit in the water. The breakfast was delicious, but it could have been a bit more varied, after three days I get a bit bored.

Really spacious room on the 12th floor with big bathroom, great shower and lots of hanging space. Also a roomy safe ideal for valuables and laptop. Quiet room with terrific view across to Valletta. Could have done with some coat hooks in the room but this is an issue at most hotels we've stayed at! The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the Lobby Bar was a godsend with very friendly staff and a good choice of food for us non meat-eaters. Welcoming and relaxed and was perfect when we didn't want to eat out in the evening. Great value stay (14 nights) and we will definitely go back. Had been some years ago but it is even better now. So convenient for buses, shops and the ferry to Valletta. Also for boat trips if you're a first time visitor to Malta.

there is a travel desk in the hotel and when I booked for my day trips they wanted me to pay cash and guided me to withdraw from the cash machine opposite to the hotel. However I did not realise that those machines charge for withdrawals. Later the reception manager informed me that I should never use the yellow cash machines and asked me to in future use a HSBC cash machine which was just a few mins away from the hotel. I also understood the travel desk in the hotel is not under the hotel management and is just an external company renting space within. just be very clear and mindful - minor point but thought it would help others.

Everything! We had a fantastic stay and loved the location, facilities, staff! We stayed in a king room with lateral sea view but we had great views of the marina. We chose to stay on b&b rate and the breakfast was as plentiful and varied. We ate in the lobby bar one lunchtime and it was delicious and well priced. We also ate in Olive10 on Friday evening for the hotel bbq. The atmosphere was fantastic with live music and great views of the fireworks. I went for a massage in the hotel spa and it was fantastic! Great value as well. Housekeeping attended to our room daily and it was also so welcoming to come back to. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic. Bed very comfortable but maybe a little slow. The staff were really outstanding, every member we dealt with was super; professional, friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is a little difficult to navigate as it’s large. The lifts were broken on quite a few occasions. It’s a large hotel so the waiting time for the lifts was quite long, at times. The tv’s in the rooms could be updated to allow guests to access Netflix etc. gym was perfectly useable but exercise mats would be a great addition as well as more modern equipment. Air con in the gym wasn’t really working!

Comfy, clean rooms. Professional, polite, helpful staff.

1) I used the gym every day. The bike was broken. It should either be removed, replaced or repaired because the space is small, 2) the outdoor pool is actually a lido over the road. There are not enough loungers for everyone. Not even nearly. And if you try to move random ones so you can sit with your family, you get told off. 4 of us had to lie separately in different parts of the lido. After 3 days of similar, we paid for the Frank salt lido a kilometre away and never looked back. The bar staff are also rude.

Easy check in and friendly staff who were very accommodating. It was good having free entry to Aqualuna beach club across the road (I recommend you get the hotel to reserve you a bed as it gets busy). Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked great which was a bonus with the Summer heat in Malta. Not a fault of the hotel and maybe because it was my first time in Malta and I didnt know locations well, but it seems a bit further out from nice beaches. Gozo takes over an hour to get to by bus/ferry. There are restaurants close by that have a good vibe and happy hour cocktails. Location is really all dependant on what you want to do so not a reflection on the hotel at all so I would recommend this to others.
