Casa Rocca Piccola is really a special property. Pre stay communication was great. Arriving at the property is amazing moment... it is a museum, no doubt about it.... you are overvelmed with all the beauty and details of the house. Room is so lovely, attention to details. Highlight of the stay is a personalized tour provided by the owner the next morning after the delicious breakfast which is served in the patio. Atmosphere is so relaxing... The tour is so intriguing, humorous, interesting... you will love it... will not tell you everything, will not go into details, will not spoil it for you... you should come and experience it yourself... evwry tuesday, thursday and saturday... you will be amazed. Bed is sooo comfortable, sheets so smooth and nice
At arrival to the room was surprised that there is no TV which is, in my case used mostly to produce background noise... did not miss it at all, was glad it was not there, actually

The accommodation went above and beyond my expectations. The decor and the courtyard made it easily the most memorable accommodation I have ever stayed in, given also the opportunity of B&B hosts to have a private tour of Casa Rocca Piccola. Despite the antique charm of the rooms, the bathroom is modern and spacious, making the room (in my case, the Elephant Room) very comfortable also for longer stays. The owners and the staff are hospitable, kind and committed to ensure a wonderful stay for their hosts, also accommodating for dietary requirements (gluten free breakfast) and other special requests (late check-in). Perfect position in the city centre.
On a minor note: while the air conditioning works very well, light sleepers may find it to be noisy throughout the night.

Rocco Piccolo is a unique bed and breakfast in downtown Valletta, Malta. A museum downstairs with five upstairs rooms, it is an ideal place to centralize your vacation stay. Spacious rooms and bath, outstanding breakfasts (including freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries and excellent choices of coffee and tea.) Staff are friendly and provide great service. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to all downtown sites. The museum tour is a special treat—filled with enriched history and interesting stories! We recently spent 5 days/nights there, and on a scale of 1 to 10, it is clearly an 11!!

Lovely 16th century house, located conveniently close to all points of interest.Room was nicely decorated and comfortable.Perfect for people who appreciate history and don't mind staying in b&b's. A very informative complementary tour was given by the owner of the house. It was a highlight of our stay. I would definitely recommend this lovely b&b for a shorter central stay in Valetta.
The bed was producing squeaky sounds.Every time someone turns or moves you would hear it.No minibar in the room, complimentary waters were too warm to drink. Breakfast options were limited.I would suggest staff to explore poached, fried or scrambled eggs options.

Casa Rocca Piccola was a wonderful place to stay in Valletta. All the staff was very welcoming and happy to help. The location was excellent, fairly central in the city, although you can't really be too far from anything. They offered a free tour of the house with you stay which we unfortunately did not have time to partake in. Guests also receive 10% off at the neighboring Italian restaurant which was absolutely delicious. We left very early for our flight the day we left and they even made us up a to go breakfast bag which was just above and beyond. The rooms were unique and well updated despite retaining their historic charm. I would absolutely recommend Casa Rocca Piccola to anyone coming to Valletta, and sincerely hope we get the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Casa Rocca Piccola B&B is an amazing palazzo. Our room is beautifully decorated with tasteful paintings and classy furniture. The bathroom is huge and extremely clean. Every day, they provide two big bottles of water, one natural and the other Pellegrino. Breakfast includes squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, fresh fruits, artisan breads, croissants, prosciutto, salami, and ham in the beautiful garden with the soothing sound of a fountain and birds chirping. The breakfast staff is extremely polite and helpful. Marta, the manager, is very responsive. The marquis gave us a tour of the house and shared many interesting stories about its history and treasures. He is an incredibly warm and nice person.

Soooooo happy we stayed at this beautiful and historical B&B. The staff were all lovely and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms were exquisite! So elegant, charming and inviting. Loved each and every day of our stay there. The history of this hotel absolutely blew our minds. We did the guided tour on our last day and will treasure even more so, our time there. Its location was minutes away from the town center, yet so very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was a great way to start the day, out in the beautiful courtyard. Please do not go past booking this place to stay…you will forever treasure your time there. We hope to come back to Valletta and this will be our home away from home. Thank you to all the staff and beautiful owners of Casa Rocca Piccola!

An Unforgettable Christmas at Casa Piccola Rocca Staying at Casa Piccola Rocca in Malta during Christmas was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt enveloped in warmth and hospitality by the wonderful family who owns and runs this extraordinary property. Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully cared for, making it an experience we will treasure forever. The highlight of our stay was the private tour given by the Marquis himself, the gracious and elegant owner of this historic home. His passion for the house and its history shone through in every word as he shared the stories behind the exquisite décor, the priceless antiques, and the charming architecture. It felt like stepping back in time, with each room offering a new layer of beauty and refinement. The rooms themselves were an absolute dream—meticulously decorated with a perfect balance of timeless elegance and cozy charm. Every corner was a testament to the family’s attention to detail and dedication to creating an unforgettable guest experience. It was clear that this was not just a place to stay but a home filled with love, history, and pride. Breakfast in the gardens was another highlight of our stay. We started each morning with the most delicious spread, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, served in a setting so serene it felt like paradise. Surrounded by the beauty of the garden, with the soft Maltese sunlight filtering through the walls, we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to begin our days. Above all, it was the people who made our stay so special. The family’s kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality made us feel not like guests but like cherished friends. Their attentiveness and thoughtfulness went above and beyond, making every moment unforgettable. We will forever dream of returning to Casa Piccola Rocca, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly unique and extraordinary experience.
Everything was perfect

Where to start!! The property, rooms, museum, location, staff are ALL amazing. It's in an ideal location. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Our room 'the pineapple room' was amazing. You will never stay anywere like this.....its an amazing experience. Room was extremley comfortable and we felt very 'at home'. The tea/coffee/drinking water facilities in your room are very generous. The tour of the museum is just wonderful. There is nothing we could mark down on....its a 10/10. Valletta is a magical city, the history, the architecture, the people and the general feel of the place is just lovely. Just book it and have a wonderful time.
NOTHING!!!! We didn't want to leave.

I will start by saying that this is not just an accommodation. It is a palace and a museum open to visitors, which makes it even more interesting to stay there as a guest. The noble family De Piro owning the palace will also provide a private tour that you should not miss, we absolutely loved it. Rooms aspect is vintage, but they have all 4* amenities required. The staff was very helpful, especially considering the period (Dec 31st - Jan 2nd). Breakfast was so relaxing in the garden, where Kiku parrot keeps guests company. Jan 1st was a day off for the staff, so we had a voucher for breakfast at Caffe Cordina (3 min walking), which is another historical lovely place. We enjoyed there at a table outside the first coffee and sun of 2025. Location of the accommodation is perfect: very close to everything you want to visit in the center of Valletta, 5 min to St. John's Co-Cathedral, easy walking distance to the elevator going down to the waterfront.
Our first night was in the Elephant room, which was not the most comfortable one for a guest with severe back condition who needed hard mattress; I would also mention the bed is very high, for a senior person, or very short, or with less mobility would be quite difficult to climb in. Fortunately, the owners and staff did everything possible to provide a solution and the second night was perfect! We are grateful for that :-)
