Location: Quiet location, close to the highlights of Valletta (ferries, theatre, restaurants, bus stations etc.). Not so close to swimming spots (aprox. 1h from any good beach). Recommended for those seeking to wander around the streets (which are charming), go to museums or cultural events, shopping maybe etc. Now ... a small warning: entire Malta seems to be under construction. There are roads in work, buildings being renovated etc.. Even near this hotel there are some construction sites, but its particular location protects it quite well from the noise. Room: We had a room with no view, but that was ok, it was cooler. Otherwise it was a very spacious room, with a huge comfortable king size bed. It was very clean, including the bathroom. You also have coffee in the room. And, the most important, the air conditioning is working :). Breakfast: Breakfast was ok, cappuccino / coffee quite good. I am not so found of breakfast in general, so maybe for those who enjoy this meal could be a bit unsatisfactory, especially if you stay for more 4-5 days. Cleanness: It is very clean, both the room and common spaces. Personnel: The staff was really nice and helpful, managed to check us in sooner than specified in the booking. Helped us to book a taxi from and to the airport. If you have time, you could also use the public transportation since it is quite good (well ventilated and on time ... most of the time :D ). Other facilities: Swimming pool is nice for an end of the day relaxation moment. Is quite a small pool, just to cool of, not for swimming. The background music is soft, not too loud and the drinks are quite tasty. There is also a small gym; did not use it. I would say this location is perfect for couples (by the way, there is no playground for kids, at least I did not see one). If I were to return to Valletta, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Very good location with super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is wonderfully prepared.

King bed is two separate matrasses so 'the crack of doom' was a detractor to comfort. No sauna/wellness on site and pool is small and not heated (although they offer alternative via partner/group hotels nearby)

Small cute hotel, has nice sea view only from the pool area. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and neat.

I didn’t like my view from the window, it was some wall… cause of that the room was dark. There is no food service next to the pool, no even sandwiches or snacks , only alcohol. The location was not that great, as for me.

The room was really lovely. The hotel was beautiful in general. The beds were large. The pool was a good size for a rooftop pool - we didn’t see another guest up there for our whole stay. The food and drinks were reasonably priced by the pool. Great location.

The beds weren’t that comfortable (pretty hard) they could do with a topper. We had the cooked breakfast, which looked better than they tasted - they came with salad on the side which we felt was a waste. Minor issue but there wasn’t separate shampoo and conditioner, it was 2 in 1.

I had a beautiful room (#16) which was large and tastefully decorated. The rooftop pool/bar area was excellent - intimate and extremely well staffed. The umbrellas provided excellent shade. The hotel is in an excellent part of Valletta - away from the partying noise from late night bars and clubs but still only 5 minutes walk from them should one wish to reveal in the atmosphere at ground level. Cleanliness of the hotel generally was outstanding.

In my room I could hear people moving about above me. That was a bit annoying as they made a lot of noise in the morning. My only other criticism is that breakfast in my opinion was over staffed. Don't get me wrong - the staff were very friendly and courteous, though personally I found that they were too attentive in the sense that I barely had a moment to myself.

I liked the location, the breakfast was amazing. The staff was very friendly at the restaurant and reception. The rooms were clean, but opening the windows was hard because of the curtains. It was a little dark in the rooms.

Unfortunately, we had problem with the bathroom and there was a loud waterleak, it was late night, and when we contacted the reception there was no mechanics, neither was a staff member who could help. We managed to solve the problem by ourselves, the problem is that the man at the reception desk told us that he would take a note and send someone in the morning. No one came to fix the problem, neither asked what happened.

All the staff were excellent.

The pool was under maintenance. Something that was not informed in advance at any time. That is, I chose this hotel also for that reason and in the end, I did not have the opportunity to enjoy it. I think the hotel should at least have given a free upgrade to the room. Or refunded something... as it doesn't really justify the value per night when the hotel's only leisure went into maintenance and without prior notice. But I loved the breakfast, the comfort and decoration of the room, cleanliness and... the staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast staff part.

Very nice and peaceful location but close to everything in Valletta. Beautiful interior design in the reception, hallways, rooms and in the restaurant. The pool area was small but very nice and peaceful. Staff was extremely warm and friendly in the reception, pool bar and breakfast. Talking about the breakfast, it was so delicious and we loved the idea of mini buffet and the selection of a la carte -menu. Warm thank you also for recognizing our anniversary! We already started to dream about coming back!

We loved everything and everything was just perfect. One thing is that the shampoo in the room had a weird smell but it was just a small detail.

Great emplacement, excellent breakfast and nice staff. The rooms are classy and well furnished.

The swimming pool is very small, you can't swim. Don't rely on the pictures of the pool, they are very " generous".

The breakfast was exceptional. Nice variety to choose from. The breakfast staff was professional and prompt. The dining area was also unique and pleasant. The hotel location was quiet yet close to the action of the main tourist area. Everything was in walking distance, but wear good walking shoes and be prepared for an uphill walk on a narrow sidewalk. No concerns about personal safety. The room was spacious and well-supplied. Housekeeping was thorough and timely. Finally, the reception staff were great. Leila is a big asset for the hotel. A wonderful person and very helpful.
