The food was good for the most part. The prices were high with added service fees. Food prices should include service fees on menu. The facilities are beautiful, but the bathtubs are disgustingly filthy.

The pre-purchase American breakfast option is a waste of money bc no one at the resturants seem to know what it is and what is included. The bathtubs were disgusting and need to be replaced. The bathtub had a hole. It's really unacceptable.

Room service was delicious. All of the plated food at this resort was delicious. Their fish was very fresh and tasty. The front desk staff was also very nice.

The adult pool bar and restaurant closed very early. It made us leave the resort to enjoy the evening instead of lounging at the pool like we had planned to. Also, the staff that delivered the room service were always unfriendly and appeared ungrateful for any cash tip I gave them (keep in mind, the lowest tip I gave was $10 USD).

An elegant resort with a beautiful and secure private site. The staff was very courteous and attentive.

The beach waves were too rough in the hotel area and not safe to swim in although there were several large beautiful pools to choose from. Since we wanted to swim a bit in the ocean we had to take a taxi to the Marina area where there was a nice public beach and where it was safe to swim. The resort was also a bit more expensive but was still worth the added cost.

This property is absolutely beautiful, I love the restaurants had amazing food. the staff was excellent, they went above and beyond. there are so many pools on the property which avoids crowding. they also have a great water slide for the kids. it’s family friendly. we stayed for 6 days, I loved it here. will definitely visit again.

Location was awesome, right on the beach. Best was my room over looking the ocean. Food was great. And they had multiple options for food. The staff ensured they have some event or the other every day to keep guests entertained through out the day.

Hands-down best food in Cabo at Calima buffet at Playa Grande. Beautiful pools. Bummer that beach/ocean unusable. Check-in HORRIBLE as were the extremely aggressive time-share people in the lobby. They trick you saying they have towel cards and only way to get them is to be totally harassed. HORRIBLE. Lack of beach/these sales people, I would recommend staying elsewhere but doing at least one meal at Calima ($38/person Saturday night seafood buffet was all you can eat/drink. Can also get NY strip and pastas-all amazing.)

Check-in ridiculous (one hour plus) and timeshare pariahs that harass you constantly. Would not stay here again.

Food at property was very good. Drinks as well. Was not at all happy with the property solicitors for their new sister hotel. They were very pushy and hovering They took our money and would not give it back when we notified them of our cancelling of our tour. Talked to them every day after to get it back and later they denied even talking to us about it.

Playa Grande is few minutes away from the Marina so you have all the access to the sightseeing tours and small market places for souvenir. The location of Playa Grande is the deal-breaker when we were looking for places to stay. Next is the staff. They are so amazing and accommodating. We also had great dinner and entertainment for our first night. I also joined the Zumba class by the pool. I won't hesitate to go back to Playa Grande in our next Cabo trip.

Room reservation problem: we had a slight hiccup with the room because the Deluxe room that I booked is not available so we were moved to the Ridge. The room at the Ridge is beautiful and spacious but it took us a lot of walking to go to Marina. I had a toddler with me so it is harder for us. After two days, we were moved to Bldg. G with beautiful ocean view. Our room in Bldg. G is so much nicer with ocean view so we didn't really mind the slight problem.

The resort is great, with nice rooms, great views and several pools and spas. Staff was friendly. The size of the property is just about right walking to the pool, beach, and back to the room. The location is nice, within walking distance to the marina and restaurants. We bought the Breakfast Included package. The breakfast was great, with nice selections of fruits. However, you can either select eggs / omelets or french toast / pancake, not both as listed in Bookings.

Some amenities are not functional well, such as AC having noise etc. They are mostly minor.

Excellent friendly staff. Great room and resort facilities. Location is perfect for a mix of beach and downtown.

The food choices got a little tiresome. Next time we will skip all inclusive. Ambushing customers for their towel cards after check-in, which is really a ploy to sell more services and a time share, was a low move.
