The bartender and wait staff were entertaining and very nice. The rooftop pool deck has a gorgeous view of the jungle and the ocean. The room is very comfortable and so is the bed.

The morning I was leaving there was no water. That was an inconvenience but of the sixth places I've stayed in in Mexico in the last 2 weeks none of them had good plumbing. And it was probably the city working on the water. It's okay. It's not always going to be perfect everywhere you go. Just expect when you're in Mexico that things might not work exactly the same as in the states unless you're in one of those fancy resorts and still there's no guarantee. Just go with it and have fun. And the staff will have fun with you

Firstly the staff and owner are honest, genuine, friendly and helpful. Then there is lovely modern decor in the room which is well appointed with main and bedside lights both sides, fridge coffee machine, Aircon and comfortable bed. There is an excellent view from rooftop garden for sunrise over the sea and reef and sunset over the trees. The room was very comfortable, and quiet. There is a great fish restaurant downstairs. The hotel is in a very central position without being noisy from music or bars, but close to the shops and beach.

Just small things. It would be nice if the jacuzzi pool sprays worked although its still a great pool to dip in under the stars. Also a sign on the street would make it easier to find the accommodation for people like me who miss the prearrival message, or taxi drivers coming to pick up.

The location was perfect, and the view out our window was spectacular! I don't know if all rooms had such a good view. We loved the opportunity to hang out on the roof with folks we'd met who also had a room there. There was a mini-pool on the roof but we did not go into it. On one night they hired a band to play in their restaurant/bar on the ground floor and the music was so good that we danced as long as they played!

When we booked the room we had no idea of what floor we'd been placed on: the third. It was a long walk up and down the steps, several times a day, but climbing stairs used up the calories we'd gained from all the great food we ate.

the room was nice, and the rooftop was anawesome place to spend time, with a great view. Tv, fridge, towels and everything we needed. Location was good, right in the city centre, close to the beach

the main issue was that they wouldn’t enter the room too often. I wouldn’t expect any daily cleaning, but I would expect for someone to empty the bins and make sure that we had toilet paper. We didn’t have a bedsheet between us and the blanket at the beginning. Sometimes the restaurant staff would come to work early and start screaming and listening to loud music.

Perfect location, spacious and clean room with a king size bed. Shower was nice and you can chill at the rooftop terrace with a sea view.

My room (I think it was called 'Tierra') was directly above the restaurant, and it lacked privacy, as people walking past my room could look into my room through the thin curtains. And there were some works being done next door not far from my windows, so I did see some staff outside my window a few times. Simple solution would be to install thicker curtains.

Great location, wifi was strong enough for work with no issues, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were lovely, and the shower was especially nice with good water pressure and temperature. The area felt super-safe, and while you could hear the music from some of the surrounding bars and restaurants, it wasn't too loud and I think it was always turned off by midnight (we were there in September 2022 for 4 nights)

The rooftop pool was a bit small and a little cloudy, but it had an incredible view of the ocean.

The people who worked with Villas Valentinas and La Pepita were so friendly and helpful. We left the windows in our room open each night so we could hear the ocean as we slept. Short walk to the beach and nice roof too space i used in the morning to journal or just have a cup of coffee.

Our neighbor was pretty noisy each night and would chain smoke cigarettes for hours so our beach towels we left hanging outside of our room began to smell like cigarette smoke. It also sounded like he was moving large pieces of furniture. This was weird and kept us awake sometimes but i would book again.

These are units in a building that is above a restaurant. You walk through the restaurant and then go up stairs. At the top of the stairs is a small deck with views. 1 or 2 rooms per floor. I liked the restaurant food. Fresh fish some days all depends on the catch. Restaurant prices same or lower than the other places to eat and locals come in to eat there so it must compare favorably to the others. Rooms are fairly new and the bathrooms were nice!

Stairs can take time up and down. If your elderly or have difficulty walking be forwarned its a climb up for all rooms and maybe several floors.

The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is amazing. It is wonderful to stay right in the center of the beach town and have a view of the sea from the rooftop. The rooms are clean and have the basic comforts. The check-in is unusual because it is on top of a restaurant and you have to go through it to get to the rooms, but the restaurant staff was so sweet and made us feel really welcome.

A few room/appliance upgrades could help improve the place even more- even though it is already very nice. Not a lot of cons! It's a great value.

villas valentina is an amazing hotel very near to the beach. its above a nice restaurant where the food is really good! staff is so nice and helpfull en very welcoming. its like they are your family. rooms where clean an spacious. the plaza is really close by where there are several activities. also the big supermarket is only 3 minute walk. we really enjoyed it!

cleaning is not included in the price, for us no big deal. Only it would be nice if the trash can would be cleaned because of the toiletpaper (you cannot flush it). but overall no bad things to mention.
