The swimming pools, the nice corridors, the gardens, the Maya details, the drawings on the stairs, the hammocks… The roof terrace at the back side of the building is a dream. We liked the terrace & outdoor kitchen coming with our room. The people in the hotel are fantastic, they deliver an impeccable service and seem to be always smiling. And they prepared very nice food! We liked that there were squirrels in the garden, and although we could not see them and couldn’t take a picture, we heard them.

The big dark old fashioned rocking chair in the room. We are not so much into dark furniture overall, however the room had all needed comfort.

Le Muuch Hotel is an oasis of peace in the center of Valladolid. We loved the attention to every detail in the decor… even the scent was lovely! We also liked our welcome cocktails and the delicious breakfast offering a choice of local recipes. The staff, particularly Hilario, has been extremely helpful and keen to share tips to visit nearby cenotes and Mayan ruins, including Chichén Itza and Ek Balam.

We had a couple of minor annoyances to regulate the water temperature for showering (still good to cool off from the outside heat) and find the car parking (not onsite, but a few minutes walk away). The kindness and patience of the staff taking us to the parking and offering advice for the best roads largely made up for the trouble. Overall we had an exceptional stay and we would love to come back!

Location is super convenient, 5 minutes walking to the central plaza. Breakfasts were exquisite — delicious and beautifully served. Rare place with cloth napkins 👍

I had room with a private pool/bath. I think it lacks two sets of towels and leg carpet (there were only 2 towels in the bathroom, so to go to your pool you need to take those towels and carpet with you, it's not convenient). Also big towels were really old, as well as the pillowcases, for $200 a night one expects more attentions to such details. We had a bottle of wine which was supposed to be free of charge according to the room description, but initially it had a price tag. Happily, the receptionist kindly helped us to solve this problem.

Great location and beautiful space. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room had AC and beds were comfortable. Breakfast included and welcome cocktail were appreciated. Off street parking. Also, it was not clear to me from the booking description, but there is a second pool in the back that is larger, just not quite as "instagramable".

Breakfast was not terrible, but was a bit bland. Make sure you ask for some salsa macha to put on everything! Parking lot wasn't very conveniently located (It's about half a block from the hotel). Maybe we just didn't communicate that we needed help, but lugging our bags down the poorly paved sidewalks from the parking to the hotel was not fun.

Friendly staff. Helped us with reserving private transport to chichen itza and even prepared a breakfast box to go. Beautiful property and pool. Well maintained Breakfast is included. Breakfast is fresh and tasty!

A lot of noise from dogs barking at night. The restaurant has the music on till 9pm and then you have to wait for the business to close before it gets quiet. If you have a 7am taxi pick up for the piramid you want to get to bed early though and it's a little bothersome. We used ear plugs. Minor thing: The pool isn't heated and there's no towels for the pool. There's also only 2 beds for the pool, so it's giving the vibe that's it's more for esthetics instead of to be enjoyed and to swim.

This hotel is beautiful and so unassuming from the outside - you would never know you're about to walk into to a stunning oasis! The room was spacious and comfortable. And although we didn't indulge in the food, the drinks were fantastic. The outdoor pool was a bit cool in the afternoon (no direct sunlight), but it was a nice offering. There are two pools, two rooftop terraces, and plenty of lounging throughout - lovely experience just walking around the hotel itself. The staff was so friendly, and the parking was easy to access and felt very safe.

This hotel is amazing. From the look of it to its comfort. The location is good as well, so is the service from all the staff. We had an issue with our room and it was quickly sorted. The breakfast was so good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The parking is not onsite. When we went to park at the parking lot, it was locked and the security guard wasn’t there. We easily got street parking, and I’m sure the staff would have sorted this out for us if we needed, but street parking was easier.

The hotel and grounds are really beautiful with a mix of Mayan, colonial and boho decor and lots of greenery. Our room was a good size with good facilities. It is a good location about 5-10 minutes walk to the centre and the back pool is lovely and cool for a refreshing swim. The bar and waiting staff are very friendly and make good cocktails.

The front desk staff weren’t very friendly and our room (paid for a higher category) had a back balcony to which the door didn’t close properly and have a seal so we had lots of mosquitos during the night and also cockroaches in the room.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated and overall had a very relaxing vibe. The included breakfast was very good, included bread, fruit, a main, juice, and coffee. The juice options were especially delicious. By Mexican standards (which usually means very firm) the bed was quite comfortable.

Parking was close, but offsite. A minor inconvenience. There is a private residence next door with lots of dogs who occasionally barked like crazy and a rooster who started at 3 am. I slept through it, my wife did not. Roosters in cities is not uncommon in Mexico.

The common areas of hotel were absolutely beautiful and created a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were lovely. Hotel was centrally located and they have a private parking lot.

I'm not super picky but this hotel was a splurge for us and for the price, my expectations of the room itself were a little higher (e.g. our shower didn't drain well, one lamp was broken, our shade did not go up and down properly). Our room was right above the bar and dining area and it was quite loud so maybe avoid that one if you are a light sleeper. We stayed in another hotel the remaining days in Valladolid (because only 1 night was available) which was half the price and equally nice.
