Nice,clean hotel in great position,two blocks back from the main square. Glass water bottle was filled up in our room every day by the cleaners.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms and no restaurant on site,therefore no breakfast available. The pictures show breakfast on the booking .com page,but this isn’t true. The cafe next door opens around 8-9 am,but only does drinks and sandwiches/eggs. The cleaner was very tight with supplying us with toilet paper and we only got a roll left when we had totally used it up! Very strange.

Out of all the hotels we stayed in for our two-weeks tour of Mexico, this was absolutely our favorite! The location was super central but quiet, the building seemed very new, the staff friendly and helpful, and the roof terrace with string lights was very romantic. Of course the room was the best thing: it was very spacious and new, with a wardrobe, a bright window, a fresh bottle of water with glasses, a beautiful bathroom with a good shower, and an AC that actually worked. We were really happy to finally find a room for two with one absolutely huge bed instead of 2 normal double beds (why would a room for two people need four or five sleeping places?). Absolutely recommended.

We cannot think of anything really that we didn't like about this place, everything was really good here. It would have been lovely if they offered a breakfast option too, but it was no issue at all for us, also given how central and close to many food places it was.

Great hotel near the main park, Parque Principal. Close to everything you might need in this wonderful quiet city. My room was big, with big windows looking out at the street, and you have to keep them covered if you want to stay private. Bathroom was a bit small. It had good size shower area, but the rest of the bathroom was small. It was ok for me, but I think for a bigger person might be a bit uncomfortable. No elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs (narrow stairs). No issue for me, as I travel light. AC and Wifi worked well during my stay. I thought this place was excellent value for money!

We decided to opt for a night in Valladolid on our way to Chichen-Itza (which is more or less 40 minutes away) and oh what a nice little city. The hotel is really 5 minutes away by foot from the main plaza and had everything we needed for a quick stopover. AC was functioning and the bed was really comfortable. Free parking was also available!

We would have loved to have breakfast there but we didn’t see the option possible on booking.com, it was probably on us though as we booked in a rush.

The accomodation is quite basic, but I really liked this hotel. To splurge in a city like Valladolid would be against city's spirit :) My thanks to the employees who keep the place impeccably clean, and also have the relaxed attitude which I prefer to the somewhat servile approach of staff that I experienced in some other hotels in South America.

Hotel Real Colonial was charming and beautiful! The staff was so helpful and kind. Parking is secure and it's just a 5-10 minute walk from the zocalo and shopping. The shower was excellent and the room very clean. We spent some great time playing cards on the rooftop terrace. Best value on our whole trip.

There are beautiful skylights that let in lots of natural light. Overall, this is wonderful. If you're a blackout-curtains kind of traveler, than this could be a problem.

A well-located, simple yet charming hotel. Perfect for a weekend trip to Valladolid! Super clean, comfy beds and great shower. We liked that they left a refillable glass bottle in the room instead of plastic water bottles, so bonus points for sustainability.

Coffee-making facilities would have been appreciated in the room. The rooms are quite noisy as other reviewers have pointed out, but this is the case in all hotels like this in Mexico. We're kind of used to it :D The staff aren't the friendliest or most welcoming bunch of people.

When we asked for places to get breakfast, the staff only recommended the cafeteria next door which belongs to the hotel, while there are plenty other options

It's a tiny "feel at home" hotel with nice rooms and an awesome relaxing terrace. Cleaning is perfect. Near to the centre of the town.

English is not always enough for the staff but it's very funny when you speak in English they speak Spanish and somehow you understand each other. :)

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The location is good, you can easily walk to top tourist places from there. The hotel has private parking too. There is nice coffee shop next door with really amazing coffee and it opens at 7 AM. And there is also very cool and cheap take away place in front of the hotel, but it opens in the evening.

It was quite noisy at night, because of the road. There was no safe in the room.
