Quaint and beautiful room/setting. Rooms and grounds are full of character. Convenient parking next door. Generous and delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. Strong and much needed air conditioning. Almost completely perfect (see comments below).

Water pressure is extremely weak. If you have long thick hair, it may be an issue. If you don't run the AC at night, you may hear the music/people at a cantina a few doors down the block. The music/noise runs pretty late (I woke up at 2am and I could hear it from my bathroom but not from the main bedroom where the AC was running).

The hotel is located close to the center of the city and very close to many shops and restaurants. Just a few blocks. Fantastic facility that makes you feel at home while traveling. I have to mention that for the rates they have, they need to include a phone in rooms. Because if you need anything, you need to walk outside to the concierge to requested it. For instance, the water faucet was very loose, needed shampoo. Staff was so kind & hospitable to my wife and I. Breakfast was included, which was all delicious, very typical. Thank you to everyone for their exceeding efforts.

What a wonderful, cute little family run hotel! Ideally located near the centre. Above all, what fantastic staff. I am vegan, the kitchen staff went out of their way to provide me with a vegan breakfast, something different everyday for a week! The portions were a little small but the extra effort made in providing me with vegan food outweighs this. Our room was nice and my girlfriend and I had a good night's sleep every night as our bed was extremely comfortable.

As we stayed six nights we could have done with a wardrobe, strangely our room didn't have one. The coat and hat stand came in very handy!

Tia Micha Magical stay! We loved every minute of our stay at Casa de Tia Micha. It was such a wonderful experience. Welcome factor: from the moment we stepped in we were greeted by lovely Sharoma who welcomed us with a genuine heart. We learned about the top must-sees of Valladolid with the accuracy of an expert tour guide. Sharoma advised us what to do when so that we maximized our visit. Location: absolute best location! Even for those who need a secure parking spot (located next door). Casa Tía Micha is just a few steps from the central square, artisanal stores, restaurants, cafes, even a cenote that is 2 blocks away! La Caminata de Los Frayles is an absolute must specially at night; it is lined with boutiques and cafes. For diner we were directed to La Casa de Ramon Mendoza (a cultural and gastronomic center) which hosts Idilio’s restaurant (dining Al fresco with the largest selection of local artisanal beers we have seen. The offer flight samplers. Cuisine is absolutely exquisite.) Just a few blocks beyond is the Convent of San Bernardino de Siena where they perform light shows every evening at 9pm. Charm: this boutique hotel is an oasis filled with vegetation, bright colors, little surprises at every corner including a jacuzzis on the 1 floor and the terrace on the 3 floor. We met Tia Micha’s great granddaughter who greets and makes sure everything is perfect. The hotel stay included a gourmet 3 course breakfast! How awesome is that! The room was impecable and oh so comfortable. When exploring the town, we were surrounded with lovely experiences throughout and even danced chacha at the central square with the sounds of a full orchestra. Valladolid: we almost missed stopping at this lovely town because we thought Merida was better. We are so glad we cut our stay in Merida to visit this charming place. If I had to choose between the two I would definitely choose Valladolid.

Everything was wonderful!

This small hotel was delightful in every way and very affordable. We found the style and room decor charming and the tropical oasis vibe of the common areas was lovely. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with all our needs and very patient with our lack of Spanish skills. There was free parking for our car next door and the hotel is located right in the town center. The 3-course breakfast was delicious, included in the room cost and probably the best we had on our trip.

Wonderful little hotel with a great location and a tremendous staff and owner. With only seven rooms it had a small and comfortable feel. The style of the building and interior of our room stood out The breakfast that was included in the room rate was the best I've ever had for an included meal. When we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and explain the city and places to visit. A small family owned place like this is a real gem to find.

We were met with the warmest smile and most hospitable niece of Tia Micha. The entire experience from beginning to end was lovely, warm and beyond our expectations. The garden is enchanting. The breakfast was special; homemade pan dulce, aqua fresca, cafe, eggs all served in the quiet of hotels garden. This is more a home then hotel and feels so welcoming and inclusive.

Nothing really. There was nothing to complain about. The parking was literally next door. The A/C worked flawlessly and the staff were gracious.

The staff was exceptional, they helped us right from the start and showed us to our room. They even made us an early breakfast as we had to leave at 7am. There are a lot of plants outside, which we loved. The room is clean and well equipped and we liked the fact that cups and glasses were sealed with wrap. Location is just great.

Maybe make more clear which are the opening times for the hotel bar, as we came back after dinner and it was closed. But overall, it's nothing bad!

- not about the property, but as general info: in Valladolid most places only serve alcohol if you buy food to. something to bear in mind when planning your holiday 🙂

Great location and the staff are very friendly. Our family room was a combination of two rooms and contained three beds and two full bathrooms. Very large space. Jesus at the front desk helped arrange an excellent driver (Carlo) to take us to Chichen Itzá. We recommend the nearby Don Diablo rooftop for a cocktail and Restaurante Eleganzza across the street for a wonderful meal.

The bed was quite firm.
