The location is great! Good value for money. Very nice building, it could do with some renovations but still in good condition. It is possible to have breakfast in the courtyard, but it's not included. The guy at the reception was great and gave us a few advices.

There are a few things that could be improved, but the price is very low so we understand that we can not have too many expectations. The only thing that disappointed me was the swimming pool. The courtyard is beautiful and it was a pitty to see that the swimming pool was a bit run down and the water was not so transparent.

Exactly opposite the Cathedral and Zocalo, yet GARDEN PATIO and pool is removed from street noises and annoyances.....It is basically motel layout on 3 floors, very tidy, pool in excellent condition and guest enjoyed. No elevators, a lot of walking for some rooms ... did not accept ground floor next to pool so they allowed me to look around and I found END accommodation on second floor. NO Passersby so max privacy. a bit dark with heavy colonial wood stained-glass. windows, curtains out of rings and hard to operate. NO drinking glasses or cups provided, hangers were "cheap mis matched cast offs") not nice ...there is a basic breakfast cafe in patio in AM, ONE of the best choices. GOOD VALUE, RECOMMEND over all...nice well mannered (older?) clientele.

The main man is the best, very attentive to the clients, extremely honest and helpful. He came to find me when he found my credit card in the parking lot. The pool is a day saver when you have kids and it's 38 celcius outside. The location is perfect, right on the corner of the main zocalo and the 480 years old church. Overall very good for the price.

Some people might be turn off slightly by the oldness of the building and linen, slightly clunky showers, but for the money we can't complain.

Excellent location, just in front of the main park and the church. Comfortable beds but AC was misplaced at the bottom of the room and therefore not cooling enough. Also, our room was connected to another one with a permanent locked door. I would stay here again for the location and excellent price/value rate.

Outside courtyard, pool area quite lovely. Breakfast is available onsite and was delicious. Great prices for breakfast. Location is perfect if you’re in foot. Right next store is Dominos pizza if that interests you. Numerous restaurants and plaza right out the front step. Front desk staff was great about calling a taxi or making arrangements to have a taxi drive to and from and wait while we toured Ek’Balam. Ubers we’re not ever available only taxis during our stay.

Charming authentic mexican hotel. Not smart but delightful. Lovely atmosphere. All rooms seem to overlook central courtyard and pool which was lovely with greenery and trees. Location excellent near ADO bus station and central square which was fun to sit in every evening and watch spanish and mayan dancing.

Front desk didnt speak any English

Excellent location, very close to all amenities and local attractions. 1 block walk from the ADO station, bike rentals, restaurants, local eateries, etc. Very efficient and friendly staff, especially Edgar and everyone at the front desk. They deserve a big raise for their efficiency, what an asset for the hotel. The housekeeping and maintenance staff are a fantastic team. Very helpful, kind and responsive. Hotel is very very clean with all health protocols observed and enforced. Early check ins are available. We canceled our previous reservation at another hotel to go to San Clemente due to the early check-in available here & Edgar´s due diligence was the factor. A big congratulations to everyone at San Clemente!

Pillows. Need a change of pillows.

The most comfortable bed we found in our trip around Yucatán. It is one of those hotels that's been around forever and although it's a bit tired, it's very well run. Rooms are huge, everything smells clean. You have storage space, hot water, AC, TV.... and the staff is helpful and friendly

Nothing the hotel could do about... some loud guests knocking on our door at 5am by mistake.

We loved the friendly staff who ran the hotel, and the proximity to downtown Valladolid. We loved that we could see the Cathedral while we were swimming in the amazing pool. We loved the garden and often sat there to write and sketch. We also enjoyed the large portions at breakfast!! The A/C also worked well the entire time.

The only problems we encountered were the slow internet (at some times of the day) and also my strong-box did not work in my room (207).

Hotel has a beautiful interior - architecture, the patio is beautiful and relaxing. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Parking is in a secured gate. Location is amazing, even right next to main square you dont rellay hear the noise from the streets. Tv was nice.

Rooms are located so that balcony is a hallway and there you have the window and door - so we were at the corner and with couch area being next to our window other guests were super loud. Also stuff had wokie-tokies and were very loud infront of the doors. Windows open just a bit to let the light in but you cannot really make a draft unless you open the door so the air in the room gets stuffy very quickly. Wifi did not work. Water was cold (lukewarm at best) but with good pressure.
