The property layout was gorgeous and beautiful the rooms had very good air conditioning with huge spacious bathrooms (that shower head is to die for)! Also not to mention how comfy the beds were. The pool was also really nice and the grotto made for some awesome pictures! Lastly, really enjoyed the homemade breakfast everyday. Thank you to the staff, like Yanet, Martin and Javier. They were exceptional. Love this place definitely going back.

The only thing was the construction going on at the time! It was an eye sore but they were mostly out of the way, once the construction is done it’s gonna be 10/10 for sure!

The property was really nice and the rooms are very spacious. The free breakfast in the morning was good and fresh. I loved the location being in a neighborhood as opposed to just a tourist area. We loved walking around the area. It’s also across the street from a grocery store so it was very convenient to get water and snacks. It’s only a 10 min walk to the heart of the city. The front desk staff were so nice and gave great recommendations for cenotes in the area.

There is construction going on so there was some construction dust in the pool. A very small complaint though.

Mayan majesty hotel is a jewel hidden in the middle of Valladolid city, it's close and walking distance from all the main attractions and is quiet enough to enjoy a good night's sleep. The people working in the hotel are knowleadgeble and nice and willing to help in any way possible. Breakfast is simple but good.

There is currently a construction in the site, also there is a pool and "jacuzzi" however the water is cold and mosquitoes will be present. Also the hotel does convert the rate of the hotel to Mexican pesos using a not so convenient rate, be prepared.

This is an amazing boutique hotel located just outside the center of Valladolid! The hotel is located in a dead end street which makes it very quiet. Therefore you are not bothered by any noise while still being close to the center. You can safely park directly in front of the hotel. There is more than enough space. Upon arrival we were very warmly welcomed. The host was very interested in our trip and took extensive time to give us tips for nice trips, restaurants and tours. With his tips, he also pointed us to less touristic spots such as Ek’ Balam and Cenote Sac Aua. He was willing to help us out with anything, like helping us book a boat trip. (Should you be looking for a boat trip in Rio Lagartos definitely choose Martin Aguiñaga as a captain). When we left early for the trip the hotel gave us fresh fruit and coffee to go. The hotel has only 6 rooms which makes it nice and quiet. The rooms are very large and have good air conditioning and are very comfortable. The WiFi was also very good both in the room and by the pool. The hotel has a swimming pool and hot tub. This is also really needed in Valladolid as it is very hot. There are comfortable beds and hammocks so you can relax there. If we return to Valladolid we will definitely got to this hotel again!

Staff was amazing, they went above and beyond with recommendations and checking on our trip. Hotel room was very spacious and clean. Included breakfast was very tasty.

The A/C in the room was dripping directly into the bed so we couldn’t really use it when sleeping, the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Location was a bit far from the city center, you can’t really tell from the map but it is quite into the local town with roads being a bit scary to walk back at night. Included breakfast options were limited and repetitive (although very delicious indeed) and it opens too late. They were also doing some works on site so there was a lot of noise on the outside areas.

Great sized rooms, lovely outdoor area, good breakfast and the staff were exceptionally helpful. There was space to park the car outside the front of the property. There are two swimming pools and spaces with sun loungers, plus a balcony out the front of each room that was nice to sit on first thing in the morning. The staff were super helpful, giving us really good tips on places to visit that were less touristy and more beautiful than the ones we had heard of before arriving.

It is a little walk from the centre. It’s not too far but there isn’t a lot in the immediate vicinity so we were always walking back into the centre / it made it a little more tricky to “pop back” to the hotel for anything. There isn’t a hotel bar/daytime restaurant if you wanted to order anything when by the pool but you can bring your own food and drink in. However the fridge in the room smelt very bad so we were not able to use it.

The woman on the front desk was amazing- she gave us great dinner recommendations. We were visiting Chichen Itza early the next morning which meant we would miss breakfast, but she arranged for coffee and fruit to-go for us which was greatly appreciated. Lovely pool and jacuzzi area. Large bathroom with rainfall shower and toiletries provided!

Upon arrival we were told that the swim-up bar wasn’t open as the bar staff weren’t working. Not sure if this is common or not, but it would have been good to know as this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel over other options. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we don’t mind walking- but this hotel is not in the centre of Valladolid- it’s about a 15 minute walk.

Javier was a delight to speak to at the front desk! He gave us wonderful recommendations to visit the town and help us plan our day. The provided breakfast was wonderful. We did not swim in the main pool but rather the smaller one to cool off. The AC should be taught how to use because for some people the remote isn't as straight forward as you think. If you are coming with bags, take a taxi from the center of the town. We did walk the 15 minutes but with uneven streets and the heat, it is a little difficult but doable.

Staff was tremendously nice and accommodating, kudos to you. That includes the main reception guy (Gabriel?) as well as all housekeeping and kitchen service staff. Breakfast was very good (amazing scrambled eggs).

The lights in the bedroom could be a bit 'warmer'. They seemed to use energy saving, very 'white light' everywhere, which makes the room a bit sterile. Would be good if the bed lamps were a bit warmer to make the room a bit more cozy. Would also be useful if the pools were cleaned a bit more frequently. Understandably a lot of insects in this area of the world but maybe another run or two per day would be good.

Lovely clean & quiet family run small hotel. Very good value for money, with spacious rooms and a nice outdoor area with a great pool this place is a hidden gem. The staff were so warm and welcoming and they were real advocates of the local area. This was one of our favourite stays in Mexico and we wish we had booked for longer. It’s a nice short stroll into the centre, authentic area but appeared safe and friendly. The hotel and the town were fantastic definitely put it on your to do list!

The bottom of the pool floor is a little worn in some places but everything else was absolutely perfect.
