Great location, there is a tramstop right around the corner that can take you anywhere you need to be. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, I had picked the smallest room since it was the cheapest option (we only stayed in Amsterdam for 1 night) but it was actually a good room that I would recommend to any younger couple. It wasn’t the most spacious whatsoever but it has everything you need and is excellent for the price. No complaints about noise or dirtiness, it was overall a good experience.

It didn’t bother us at all, but the hotel does not have a lift. The rooms are not on the ground floor and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Another thing to keep in mind is that even though the city center is very easily accessible by bike/public transport it’s not close enough to walk there. You’d spend a good 40 min walking for sure, this is what you have to keep in mind when you go out at night since public transport will stop working around midnight. We took the last tram back at 00:30. But if you like to stay out longer you’d have to either walk or take a taxi.

The hotel is located in a stunning area of the city, close to museums and public transportation. There are also amenities nearby, such as supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. Regarding the facilities, everything is incredibly cozy and tastefully decorated. The building itself is quite antique, yet beautifully preserved. I particularly adored my bedroom, especially the vintage lamps and decor.

I just wanted to mention the reception service. It would be beneficial to have someone available on-site to welcome guests arriving after working hours.

Easy and uncomplicated check-in at midnight with just a simple call, even no one’s present in the hotel. Cheap public parking nearby (5 min walk), 15€ for 24 hours. Free glass of water and coffee at the reception. Very good location and neighborhood, pretty nice cafes just around the corner. Shortest way to city centre provides some good point of interests. Clean and tidy room. Free shampoo, towels and hairdryer. No elevator so you have to take the stairs, but it keeps you healthy.

We chose the hotel as it was not too expensive, and was in an old house near the botanic gardens and old city. The location was perfect and we could walk everywhere. Staff were unobtrusive, but friendly, and they arranged our airport shuttle. As it was an old house, we expected the extremely steep stairs, which were not a problem for us. We had a large double room at the back, which was comfy and quiet, and overlooked trees. Good room choice.

The stairs... but it was an old house, so expected. The shower worked fine, but leaked onto floor a bit, as door did not fit perfectly.

Staff were super friendly and helpful with directions to breakfast spots, also with borrowing a charger when we forgot ours. The location was perfect, was quiet and super peaceful. Was roughly 20-30min walk into the centre which was perfect cause you got to take in all the scenery. The bed was really big, and even though the room got quite warm in the night the windows opened wide which was perfect and there was a fan in the wardrobe. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms and beds are comfortable. The location is great, just a couple blocks to the metro, or a nice walk

The stairs are challenging, specially if you have more than one baggage and you stay in the last floor. The indications for the cleaning sign in the door was not clear, you have to call to their phone, we assume they would see the sign, at the beginning of our stay it was not a problem but the last 2 days we were surprised they didn't even check.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Parklane Hotel! The location was great, it was close to the centre but in a rather quiet neighborhood, which was important to me, because I have a very light sleep. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! All in all there was a good price-performance ratio and we would love to come back the next time we visit Amsterdam. :)

The hotel has a great combination of classic allure and modern decor. You can see original features combined with modern furniture and facilities. The beds were amazing. Haven't slept that well in quite some time. 😊👍 It's proximity to public transport, enjoyable restaurants and the city center, makes this hotel suitable for a quick (business) getaway but also for a longer vacation in Amsterdam.
