I loved my stay in Monet Garden, we had a lovely room, great beds, but the best part of the stay was the friendliness of the staff, everyone one acknowledged us either entering or leaving the hotel.I would certainly be staying here again on my next trip to Amsterdam. Location is great & even though you are in a quiet part of the city, you are only a 5 min walk to restaurants & bars. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in & easily the best night sleep I have ever had in a hotel. Thanks to all ataff

Friendly, clean, nicely decorated hotel, friendly staff. Room looked out onto the canal. Thank goodness!

The road and especially the pavement outside were busy, and dirty. The location is not too far from the centre but this isn’t a pretty area at all

After finally staying in this truly wonderful hotel, I highly recommend it. From the moment we entered for check in, until our departure we had an amazing experience. Upon check in the staff were warm and welcoming with an added bonus of a complimentary cup of coffee, and our luggage taken to our room. Breakfast was delicious and had an excellent selection, something for everyone. The rooms were meticulously clean and the beds very extremely comfortable. Staff were always pleasant, efficient and very helpful. I am quite fussy about hospitality, as I work in this environment, and I was impressed. Highly recommended and if I ever visit Amsterdam again, the Monet Garden Hotel will be booked. Thanks guys!

couldn’t find fault at all

The hotel was very welcoming when we arrived at 7:00 am to store our luggage. They offered us coffee and a small snack and said they would send a message when our room was ready. Room was very comfy. Breakfast was wonderful with a many options. On our last day we needed to pack a lunch before boarding our Bike and Barge and when we asked about making sandwiches they had no issues and even provided to go containers and bags. The location was great as we could walk from Central Station and then walk to the pier for our Bike and Barge trip.

The bathroom was a bit cramped and the shower curtain didn't really keep the water from getting all over the floor. Unfortunately we find this is fairly typical for European hotels.

We enjoyed our stay from the check in to check out. The check in was quick and we really appreciated that we got one room earlier than expected. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was spacious. We had everything we needed and as a plus a nice canal view. There was a nice selection at the breakfast and a good quality. Very polite stuff team willing to help with every request. There are also nice gluten free options

The only problem is that the breakfast tables are less than the ones needed during peak time and one day out of 4 we stayed there we found the buffet almost empty as they could not catch up the refill with the demand.

Spacious room, very comfortable bed. Lovely shower room and nice touches with the coffee and tea maker. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast (not included in room rate) with homemade waffles on Sunday morning. Good location of the hotel compared to the city centre (10 minute walk). Hotel is located in a location which is quiet during the evenings so no noise from outside.

We were exhausted from our 9 hour flight from Vancouver, Canada. Your hotel staff had worked hard to have our rooms available earlier than the 3pm check in. That was amazing. But even more amazing, upon hearing about how tired we were from our flight/travel to Amsterdam, your staff offered us a glass of champagne to celebrate our arrival. It just brought such smiles and laughter from our group. The location of this hotel is perfect btw. Safe area and allowed us to walk to every eatery, grocery store, tourist attractions, etc. that we wanted to visit.

Hotel was excellent - we were offered a free drink on arrival and Free water bottles were placed in our rom every day. The Vibe was very relaxed. Breakfast was excellent - we were only expecting continental bur received a cooked breakfast each day. Breakfast is served till 11am and Checkout is noon so you can really relax. The hotel is sandwiched between 2 cheaper hotels either side and initially does feel slightly out of the hub but a short walk takes you to bustling streets, bars and restaurants. It is also only 8 mins on the tram from the train station.

The room, the breakfast and the location was perfect. No noise. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean.

That I couldn't check in at 1 or 2pm and really had to wait till 3pm. Maybe the hotel was full indeed. The my first booking had breakfast included in the a price of $1400. Then I was convinced by booking.com to upgrade to canal view for it said $157 more. I have paid $1878 for 7 nights and then suddenly no breakfast was included. The canal view alone was not worth the money. This was misleading information and needs to be checked properly.
