I liked the friendly greeting, and the straight forward process of checking in. I liked the functional style of the decor throughout and the comfortable lobby - especially loved the courtyard with all it's plants growing so well. I loved the design of the bathroom, compact but so well put together that you didn't notice the small size at all. I really appreciated the quick offer of a staff member to book a taxi to the airport for 5.10am and the fact that there was a staff member on duty when that arrived for us.

I would have liked the bedside lamps to be more adjustable - they were very bright and unable to be directed in any different direction. Also, the weather was very warm in Amsterdam and the climate control was only just okay - I would have preferred cooler air-con.

We loved the breakfast. Great wide variety of choice. Loved the view of the canal outside our bedroom window. Walking distance from everything. Receptionist was always very helpful when we needed to book taxis and hold our luggage in a safe room on day of departure. Felt safe and welcomed at the hotel.

The bar in the hotel closed early. On one occasion we just wanted tea and toast for breakfast but this wasn't available to us. We had an early start to catch a coach and hadn't time for full breakfast so wanted to grab a quick cup of tea and some toast.

a very well equipped hotel in a convenient central ovation. the welcome was warm and staff were most friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The decor was modern yet we felt that the hotel did have some charm and character. Out room was well appointed and very comfortable. The shower room was very spacious with a hot and powerful shower unit. overall we were made to feel welcomed as guests and we thoroughly enjoyed the 3-night stay. Highly recommended.

Just one small consideration- perhaps the inclusion of tea and coffee making facilities within the room? perhaps some are equipped, however ours was not.

Overall, our stay at IBIS was pleasant. We were lucky to have been able to check in early, which can depend on the hotel's occupancy. The staff were very helpful. For those traveling with cats, I recommend: Inform the hotel in advance by leaving a note or calling the reception to ensure that you can leave your cat in the room. The room's door is secure, so there is no need to worry about your cat escaping. Extra charge for pets - 15 euros per day. Use the Do Not Disturb sign to make sure staff doesn't come in when you are not there.

since the room is very small, it is fine for a couple of days. For longer stays prefer a bigger room.

The location was perfect, a good 10 min walk to main attractions. A good 20 min from train station but easy to find. The breakfast lacked hot food options, but the rest was good. The room was really clean and bed was comfy. It was quiet didn't hear any other guests or outside noise. The room was cleaned everyday and given clean towels. The elevator was key card only access which made the premises feel secure and safe. Also easy check in and out, with polite staff.

Could do with more hot food options for breakfast and more bar staff, only looked to be open during the day.

Convenient to central Station , boats and harbor. Casual modern decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value compared to price of popother hotels in area.

The bathroom was damp and had a not nice smell. Towels were small. Climate control was not easy to control, Needed a duvet more suitable to the season. Breakfast food was poor for the price. Limited hooks for hanging and drying clothes and towels.

The hotel was in a good location, 20 minute walk to to centraal station or a 10 minute tram. Lots of cafe's and shops clsoe to the hotel and lots of things to fo closeby too! The staff were really froendly and helpful. There are snacks and drinks you can buy at the reception which was a great touch and so helpful. The room was clean, a good size and really comfortbale- the bed was very nice and comfy!

Location was good. 500-600 meters walk to shopping street, Dam Square, and kess than one km to Central station. plenty of buses passing. Ms. Bahar at Reception was very very helpful and guided us to city and attractions and markets near by very well. I would like to Thank her specially.

was a bit expensive for ibis. bathroom in the room was kind of pre-fabric and had problems in draining in shower and Toilet too. On check-in room was smelling like dirty male body, I believe House keepers should air the rooms and use some room fragrances. it was unpleasant.

Close proximity to many places of interest

Not the property as such - but the city map that Stopera hands out needs to be upgraded to include streets that aren’t main ones. As a walking city it is really helpful to have a hard copy map but this one is so limited and is difficult to navigate because if the city layout and canals. This is a small issue but easily resolved.

The bed was super comfy, facilities easy to use and the receptionists were always really friendly.

No kettle or fridge in order to store food / drink. It was okay because the receptionist offered me hot water, which I took. I feel the price was quite expensive to say what it was. There was nothing spectacular to justify how pricey it was to stay here as a single adult travelling alone.
