The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful whenever they’re needed. The tech-based rooms are also innovative and the room decor and set-up are fun and refreshing from normal hotels. Breakfast had some nice selections, but could include some veggies as well. The lounge area is also comfortable and easy to access. The bed is incredibly comfortable and large! And the window view is amazing.

The rooms had very few storage spaces including drawers and wardrobes, and it lacks enough surface space to put things when it’s occupied by more than 1 person. It is quite stuffy, and would be nice to have more than 1 chair if 2 people booked the stay, but I can also understand why that would be difficult due to room size. The room lacks normal setups such as coffee and tea bags and a kettle, but this is compensated by the bar downstairs.

Bed is super comfy, breakfast was wonderful and set me up for the day each morning. Internet was really good and the staff were always really helpful.

My only complaint is that they use a separate laundry service called laundryheap and they don't really have any info on them just direct you to them, but the laundry service isn't upfront about the cost of it's services or how much their second charge will be. I was charged about 12-15 times what it would've cost me to go to a laundromat after the service was complete. Also my white t-shirts didn't come back clean.

I was traveling with my 1,8 kiddo and all I can say is that this place is amazing for staying. The room is quiet compact, but it’s totally enough for a couple. Loved the hospital of the team, enjoyed breakfast and also the location. It’s not in the center although you have options to reach it by subway or public transport which is few minutes away.

You are not able to open the window in the room and the only way your room is getting air is via AC. At some point we were cold while sleeping at night, but if you have any problems you can easily reach someone at the reception and they will help you with any inconvenience.

The most welcoming people working there! Everything is stylish, clean and nice. Very close to the airport (by bus was like a direct trip of 25 min), travelling to the city was like 10 min by tram/metro. It is doable be feet as well.

You just have to consider that the toilet is placed in the centre of the room in a capsule. So you can hear a person breathing, not saying about more. This is a very important moment, for example, if this is the first time you travel with your partner, etc.

This is my first time staying at a hotel from this chain. It certainly won't be the last! I am impressed by the high level of hygiene, the attention to every detail and especially the staff! These people seem happy to help and serve. I had forgotten what polite staff is! The location is super convenient, 5 minutes from the station. The beds are super comfortable, the breakfast is outstanding, and the espresso is in the top 3 of the best I've ever had. In the evening bottled water is available at the reception. I can talk superlatives until tomorrow, so I'll stop here. And last - 10 points to the creative team at this chain, these people know how to make you smile!

Hotel was super nice, good use of technology (light, tv, blinds and heating was controlled by an iPad) , very friendly staff, good location (20-25 minutes walk to the city centre and good connection to public transportation as well. Further more bikes and umbrellas as well we're provided . Breakfast was alright, basic option of eggs, ham, fruits, oats and bread with coffee and tea

We had problems with the heating, in the night it was freezing, but after calling the staff it was quickly fixed. Although very interesting and unconventional room structure, I'm not a fan of the toilet - but that's very subjective and my personal opinion

Excellent location, staff is very helpful and kind. Decorations and vibe of the space is eclectic and stylish. Very cool for photos and social media posts.

There are hidden fees in the booking. The rate posted on Booking.com is NOT what you pay. I was expecting to pay ~200 Euros for two nights, based on the Booking.com reference. In the end, I payed 342 Euros. A big difference. Because the rooms are very small cleanliness is very important. The window area needs to be dusted, and the areas near the sink should be wiped down better - I could see residue from previous occupants - yuck.

The staff was awesome, especially the people working at the bar! The hotel itself is quite fun; you are greeted with a stature of a giant red balloon animal dog right as you walk in. A lot of the signage and things are pretty suggestive; it would be fun to stay as a couple or as an individual (especially since the toilet room is one giant frosted glass tube and the shower room is another giant clear glass tube inside the rest of the room), but maybe a little harder as a family! It is super modern and technically advanced and a really good time (the aforementioned glass tubes light up to the color of your choice via your selection on your room's iPad!).

24 hour check in was fantastic (arrived at 12am). We were greeted by the friendliest hotel staff we have ever encountered. Seemed interested in our questions and fantastic recommendations of places to visit. Took their time to answer all our varied questions. Buffet breakfast was one of the best we have had with barista coffee included in the price ( as an Aussie, I can say good barista coffee is hard to come by in Europe). The bike hire was a highlight for us - they had well maintained geared bikes. However if you were short in height, it maybe hard to get a bike fit for your height (no kids bikes either!). Big comfy beds was an added bonus. All in all one of the best places we stayed at in our Europe trip.

These was not a negative for us as we knew ahead of the booking, just something for people to consider. The space of the room is compact and the design of the shower and toilet was unique. Just be aware when booking this place. The area we stayed is not close to the city centre (a highlight for us) it’s a bit of a flat walk or tram ride to the city centre. The area seemed more suburban and business district as it had many office buildings near by. Lastly the room controls (eg lights/tv etc) was all controlled by an iPad. That took some getting used to but was definitely manageable.

The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the train station, 15-20 mins from the airport, 20 min bike ride to central Amsterdam or a 40-45 min walk. The staff were absolutely fantastic, and the free bike hire was an added bonus

This hotel is a lot more outdated than the other Citizen M branches we’ve stayed at. No USB ports, and the layout of the room makes no sense, the toilet leaves you totally exposed with no privacy at all
