The room was very comfortable, good size bed. Bright, lots of natural light. Decor was fun, yet modern. Surprised by the quality of the toiletries. Staff were super helpful. Location was right next to the metro, trams and a good food court. It's not in the heart of Amsterdam, but with the excellent transportation and the quality of the room, it's worth the distance.

The shower! Every time we showered there was a mess, flooding in the entire small bathroom! It was a mess. Clearly a design problem. Huge shower head, but not enough of a ledge on the shower floor to keep the water in. Creates lots of work for the housekeeping staff. The safe didn't work.

Modern hotel on strategic location with a very good accessibilty everywhere by bike or subway. Clean, but rooms are pretending some hitec which has no added value to your comfort and it is slightly unpractical. Hotel does not have any special atmosphere and some floors are connected with very industrial parts with no charm. However the reception and breakfast area has unique and quite distinguished atmosphere which we enjoyed.

I am not sure if it is cost effective. Breakfast is standard but nothing special. It is not easy to take free coffee or tea with you to the room.

The staff was extremely willing to help, truly appreciated the attention they gave my requests. Besides this, the location of the hotel is great, with lots of great restaurants around plus the metro is a minute away. The lights inside were very cool and the shower gel and lotion smelled nice.

The crevices between the bed and the wall were extremely dirty. We had to place towels on the shower floors in order not to slip. Extremely slippery when wet. A lot of noise from the halls leaked into the rooms. Wifi was terribly slow

The concierge were very professional and the guests were very friendly. The bed, room, and facilities were quite accurate to the preview photos on the reservation. They have a great breakfast that you have to pay for but well worth with a great mix of american/european breakfast foods. The hotel is located right next to the Amsterdam Zuid station which was very convenient. The commute to Amsterdam Centraal was very quick by metro.

I am sure there is atleast one thing wrong that another traveling guest can tell you but I was too blown away to see any flaws.

It was perfect, the staff was really nice and solved every little problem that came up. At first we had some problems with the room, but they quickly solved the problem and moved us to another room. In terms of location, it was a pleasure, the hotel is right on the southern railway line, a two-minute walk and a 10-minute fast train to the city center. We also received a surprise from the staff, and they invited us to join the breakfast at the hotel's expense, the breakfast was very nice, a cute European breakfast. I liked the common area (the lobby), there is always a coffee and tea corner available (this is important to me) Thank you ❤️

One thing, the restroom door of the room, doesn't close (don't have a lock).

Location is the best asset for this property, very convenient for using public transport connecting to all possible routes in Amsterdam. Tram, Metro, Bus, sprinter and local trains are just 5 mins walk from the hotel. Room is equipped with good facilities, only flaw is bathrooms won't have lock and its common from all the rooms in the hotel it seems (crosscheck before you book). Breakfast you got good options and staff is very friendly and helpful.

It's not something a dislike, but bathrooms without a lock might be a discomfort for some people.

I like the cleanness of the room. As well as the reception which was open 24/7. I believe bookings can be arranged with upfront payment, both including breakfast. The greatest part was fact that kiosk is nearby to buy metro/tram tickets including train 🚉 🚇 🚃 stations.

The overall price for breakfast at the hotel seemed a bit pricey. Considering small dining space, I would have expect restaurant more spacious. I feel like inside lock to the room could have worked actually, to make sure nobody from outside who has master-key can enter the room freely. For a woman it’s crucial for the door lock to be in place working.

Very interesting. Office converted into a hotel with bed and bathroom 'inserts'. Great location and staff were friendly. Excellent attempt to covert a concrete jungle into a calm place. Location was good as just next to Zuid station so could get everywhere easily. To go grocery right next door and Starbucks.

Green lights in the hallways were a bit much. Bathrooms good but small. Could have done with a shelf to put things on Windows didn't open which was a bit annoying.

The hotel was well situated to the Amsterdam Zuid train station and the WTC amenties, as well as the VU Amsterdam University. The rooms were compact and nicely appointed, but also no-frills. Great staff at the front desk.

Not a complaint - but my room looked out over the WTC building's inner foyer - so I couldn't see what the weather was doing from my hotel room. So if this is important to you, please make sure you check the room descriptions.

Room was advertised as "great bed, great shower, nice design, otherwise no-nonsense" and it was exactly like that. Breakfast option included English and continental options (and good coffee) and was well worth the charge if you don't have time to (or don't want to) go outside. This was the room type without windows, which has the added benefit of no risk of train or road noise seeping in.

Fan for ventilation was a bit loud, but the earplugs that I brought "just in case" could solve that nicely. Couldn't figure out how to turn off the dim "night light" near the door. Interestingly, that same night light would have been useful after removing the key card before opening the door, that's a very dark experience if you forget to turn on the front door light first... Suggestion: reverse the wiring for the light (i.e., no night light and use it as "leave the room light" instead)
