Gorgeous hotel, situated next to a shopping centre with a great supermarket. Spotlessly clean.

Wish I had known sooner that you are a bus ride to one station and then a train ride to the centre of Amsterdam.. On Sundays the buses don't run until 8am so had to get a taxi to the train station (5 mins in the car €20) Frequent trains to the center. Also would have liked to have known that the 24/48/72 hour tickets cover bus/metro and tram.. a simple message on the hotel website would have been great as we spent a fortune on travel..

Considering that breakfast was included in room rate it was good enough: variety of options for different dietary needs, tasty pastries, fresh fruit. If wasn’t included there were breakfast places closer to station Zuid. I liked the location (calm residential neighborhood), tiny mall with supermarket adjacent to the hotel. Station Zuid is just within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. From there you can easily get anywhere: city center, airport, other cities (Rotterdam, Hauge,…). Was there for sport event, both Olympic stadium and RAI center were 1-2 stations away from Zuid. My room was spacious enough for 1-2 persons with a good kitchenette! If you are a fan of TV maybe bring your own chromecast, wasn’t a big deal for me. No swimming pool but gym is sufficient for staying fit during your trip. Staff members are friendly and helpful, available to answer questions 24/7. Since I wasn’t driving, can’t comment on parking facilities. Images attached are: food @the Breakfast club place on station Zuid, neighborhood areas around the hotel and city snaps.

If the weather was a bit better it would be a fabulous experience. But it’s nothing to do with the hotel. And it’s the Netherlands after all!

Super quiet. Directly attached to a big shopping mall which has everything you will need if you didn't want to go out to eat or just needed some basic supplies. Breakfast service was amazing, we ate at Papa's Loft House every single day before heading out to Amsterdam central to explore and we were always full for the majority of the day which was great. The staff are truly wonderful people. All of whom are available for you to ensure you have the best stay possible at the hotel. Beds are incredibly comfy, rooms have AC and their own kitchens. It was just an all around great experience, so thank you to the Element Amsterdam team for your time and energy that you put into the hotel every single day, it doesn't go unnoticed.

At first we thought it was a little far from Amsterdam Central, however, once we discovered the existence of the GVB travel ticket, and Amsterdam Zuid station only being a 15 minute walk away... It was perfect. Hotel to Central in 25 minutes.

Hotel situated conveniently near to the tram network that made it easily accessible to travel into the city centre. Also next to a shopping mall. Quiet hotel in essence of its location. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived very early prior to check in for 3pm. (About 9.30am) . On arrival, I enquired if we could have our luggage stored prior to check in later, (of which could be accomodated). However, the very welcoming receptionist went out of her way and managed to enable us to check in there and then. She found a room available and she wavered any incurred charge for an early check in for this particular room. This was greatly appreciated as I didn't expect her to go above and beyond for us other than the initial hope of our luggage only being put into storage prior to the official check in times later that day. So a BIG THANKYOU. Room spacious with studio/kitchenette amenities. Breakfast provided what I would expect for a buffet for hot and cold food and was substantial for our needs. Also there is a self serve hot drink dispensers in the reception area with adequate seating areas and business pods for laptops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in my opinion good value for money.

Personally I couldn't fault the hotel and the service of the staff. I found all staff members friendly, polite and welcoming. The accommodation was suitable for our needs. The beds are also very comfortable.

We had a very pleasant, comfortable stay at the hotel. We really appreciated the little kitchen, which was perfect and had all the necessary appliances and equipment to make our own meals when we preferred to. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is attached to Gelderlandplein, which has everything you could possibly need or want. The surrounding areas were so peaceful and beautiful, and we really enjoyed our walks in nature. The hotel is in proximity to Amstelpark, which is a wonderful place to roam around and explore. It was also not too far (~15 min walk) to catch the tram or metro when we wanted to visit central Amsterdam.

The breakfast was a bit repetitive, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this hotel because it was our basecamp as we traveled each day to a different city. The hotel is located in a shopping center with two great grocery stores. The kitchenette is well designed and not obtrusive. There is also a built in sofa for watching TV or reading. It's just an exceptionally thoughtful space.

The breakfast is adequate. If we had to do it over, we would have just had breakfast in our room. With the kitchenette and the table and chairs, you can easily prepare breakfast for a lot less money. They provide scrambled eggs, but will prepared eggs anyway you want for an extra 7.50 euros. That's a deterrent for sure. You can buy a couple of dozen eggs and prepare them in your room for that price. The kitchenette is equipped with all the cooking utensils and equipment you need. Plus a dishwasher!

Room: wonderfully comfortable with everything we needed. Location: perfect for supermarkets and for public transport. Breakfast: fresh food, great choice, constant re-filling so that nothing ran out; I loved the cereals, the plant milks, the light rye bread and the rhubarb jam; it was always humming with other guests but never too crowded. Service: the staff were wonderful, including the ever-polite Teeuw who showed me everything about my rented bike, and the great Gaby at breakfast time.

Two things: one is the lack of cooked vegan food – I'd have liked vegan sausages or bacon, to go along with the great choice of oat or soya milks. The only other thing is the lack of recycling: I'd have thought that there would be different bins in the room for recycling paper/card, plastic bottles/drinks cans etc. Surely Amsterdam is greener than this?

We loved the clean, quiet neighborhood location. After spending a week amid the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam we welcomed Element's Hotel quiet neighborhood feeling. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, quiet, and set up for light cooking, if that interests you. There are several excellent grocery stores with in a few minutes walk. Our bed was clean and comfortable. We were very happy staying there. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the center of Amsterdam via public transportation. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone, it was decent. I didn't expect to like this place as it's next to a super mall... but it was great.

Location: city center and all attraction are 20-30 min by public transport. Public transport is easy to use and well organized. Breakfast: delicious and fresh, also smoothies are available however the selection is all the same every day. Room: spacious and very well equipped and soundproof is quite qood as well. Staff: receptionists are very kind and helpful.

Cleanliness: the room was cleaned up every day but half day later the whole room was full with dust. Most probably due to the old bedding/mattress/curtains. Pillows were uncomfortable for us.
