We didn't expect double floor. We had two large beds on the first floor and small two beds on the second floor. Windows are glorious... They are huge.. The ceiling brings you to ancient times. The number was wonderful! The staff is really really friendly and ready to help you with any questions😃

Too small sink. You should have small hands😂 And when you're coming in the room, it feels like Africa. Temperature seems to be +35 . Definitely you can control temperature of the heater. But first 40 min you wanna die 😂

The room was lovely! Very spacious and comfy. All the staff we came across were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The building itself was fab! Great location, only ten minute walk into the main area

The location was convenient, our room had no view but a super comfortable bed and a lovely, spacious shower. We bought breakfast at the hotel, one day, it was very good though expensive

I had a basement room, which was small but super quiet (except for the sound or toilet flushing from a room that I suspect was above me). The room had a short window toward the top of the wall, and the curtains could be drawn to make it pitch black in the room. There was absolutely no street noise (I believe the window was to a courtyard) and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to sleep really well. The shower had amazing water pressure, and the hot water was almost immediate. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a coffee machine and a sitting area in the lobby. When the coffee machine stopped working, we were able to go upstairs and use the coffee machine in the breakfast area. The location is great. I'd absolutely stay there again.

I didn't realize that they locked the outside door until I couldn't get in one night, but I figured out that you could use your room key to get in. The coffee machine had some problems, but they allowed me to use the one upstairs instead. The room was small, but that's what I expected -- great for a solo traveler, or maybe two if you pack lightly, but any or more would probably be uncomfortably tight... though I'd imaging the rooms that actually accommodate three are larger (might be worth asking just to be sure).

What I most enjoyed is the location from the Central Station where we arrived from the airport by train. We just walked few minutes rolling our luggage to the hotel. Other is the service and good tips about tourism with Ayub, he is outstanding!! He awared us about temperature in order to optimize our days in the city, he guided and advised as a travel agent and when he knew we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary gave us wine as a gift. He is so kind, as also the others that helped us with the taxi the day we left. Those days were awesome most of the things Ayub told us to do.

Right in town but not in the middle of it all - nice and quiet

Nothing. There is no lift to the 3rd floor and the stairs are steep

First of all, location! A five minute walk from the central train/tram/bus station and many restaurants nearby! And the staff, terrific! Always there to help, which is wonderful. We did not have the breakfast (but it smelled delicious). There is a lift (different from an elevator) which works great - didn't have to drag our suitcases up stairs! Our room was clean - very basic - lots of nice towels, beds were decent, soft sheets with duvet, and quiet. Bathroom was nice - shower worked great. FYI - there is a set of stairs to get up to front door. The hotel lobby has a ton of books to read - charming - and brochures. There is an electric kettle in the room with plenty of coffee, tea, etc., but the better coffee is in the lobby. Wifi worked great in the room, too!

We knew ahead of time that the rooms were fairly basic, but better lighting by the beds would help - especially for a "library"! LOL The mattress toppers need to be more secured to the bed as the single twin bed one kept slipping off.

Hotels in Amsterdam are either of the big names in new facilities or smaller businesses set up in typical houses in Amsterdam. This is a hotel located in one of these typical houses. You can expect limited sized rooms, steep staircases and if you are lucky there is an elevator for your luggage (in this hotel there is). Clean and nice staff. Conveniently located to come by train and if you're okay to walk a bit, you can get to all famous places in Amsterdam by foot.

Nothing in particular, all was good.

Good location & away from the hustle & bustle, it was around a 10 minute walk to Dam Square but beware of the bikes as you go though! There are plenty of shops, Cafes, Bars & Entertainment with a wide choice to suit most pallets, some dearer than others so look around. We did the Supper Club, food & entertainment for €80 which was interesting to say the least but good all the same. We did a cruise, the Amsterdam Ice Bar, Ripley's & The Red Light Secrets too, all recommended. Walked for miles down the different streets taking in the sights of the shops, houses & houseboats to get to Leidseplein Square. Visiting here a must with some great pubs, restaraunts & bars, it had a great atmosphere. Not exactly a relaxing trip but a great few days away
