The location was perfect as central station, museums, areas for shopping and food were in good walking distance. We also liked breakfast very much as you could help yourselves at a small but fine breakfast buffet, as well as additional sandwiches etc. from the menu. Overall interior design of the hotel was very charming. Lastly, the staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from day one.

Since we were staying in a 3-person semi-basement room it could get a bit stuffy at times. Turning on the AC helped but sometimes this cools down the room too much. The toilet was separated from the shower and had no sink in it, so having to go into the shower every time to wash your hands was a bit inconvenient. Wifi signal was rather week downstairs.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were even lovelier! great location and very quiet rooms!

The lighting in our room was not great - it was pretty dark even with all of the lights on!

From the moment we arrived we were met with some of the most friendly and accommodating hotel staff we’ve ever encountered. They helped us with directions, recommended restaurants and got us tickets to the Rijks museum which was sold out on line. The welcome drink and free tea, coffee and water in the lobby were also a a lovely touch.The hotel itself is small but perfectly formed. It has all the modern comforts you would need and the decor is beautiful, down to the smallest details. In terms of location, the hotel is well situated close to the railway station and an easy, scenic 15/20 minute walk to the old town. We stayed in two triple rooms in the basement which were really nice and spacious enough for 3. Would have no hesitation it recommending this hotel for a weekend away with friends or for a couple

The lobby/reception is extremely small and also doubles as the breakfast room so you do have a feeling of intruding on people as you gather in the lobby or chat to the reception staff. It also could be slightly more central for coming and going from the main sites but that’s not such a bug deal as you spend your days walking anyway. Wouldn’t recommend for those with reduced mobility

Location was excellent, close to the city center but far enough away from the busy tourist areas. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the radiant heat floors in the bathroom and the excellent rain shower head. Breakfast was both buffet and from the menu with a good variety of choices.....loved the bread. Staff was vey pleasant and accommodating. I choose this hotel because it was.a boutique smaller hotel and had a charming homey feel about it, especially in the lobby area yet no services were lacking. Room was very quiet and comfortable.

I was very satisfied with the room. No negatives from us.

The Hendrick´s is a beautiful hotel with nice rooms. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was good. The beauty products from the ritual and free water with lemon in the lobby was a nice plus. The service staff is very helpful and quick.

I consider the hotel as very pricey. But maybe these are the prices in Amsterdam. The breakfast was o.k. but for the price again, I would have expected a bit more (for example: In the country of cheese it should be possible to find some good but classic Gouda instead of that weird standard taste slices).

Front of house staff were wonderful. Very polite and helpful. Room was absolutely stunning.

Every single morning the house keeping woke us up loudly banging and dragging furniture in the early morning in the room directly above us. We came here for relaxation and left absolutely exhausted. I spoke to the front of house staff about this and they said they would speak to housekeeping but it continued every morning of our stay, which sadly ruined it slightly! If only they could have held off until something closer to 9am to allow their guests some sort of lie in on holiday. The breakfast is terrible for the price. An omelette you will wait half an hour for or some sad processed mini sausages in the hot plate. Expected better for this price. Paid for room with a bath but the water only ran warm, not hot. So by the time the tub was filled is was basically cold!

loved the room, it had a very authentic and "rich" feel, no plastic or cheap material, everything was true natural wood, the bed linens were of great quality, every thing was wonderful.

only one thing i did not like, and i hope the hotel management reads this, as i intend to stay there again in the future , the location of the safe underneath the tv is extremely wrong especially for someone with bad knees or problems bending, the only way one can access the safe is by having to either squat or go down on his knees every time you need to open the safe which is quite annoying .

The hotel is in a very good location, easy access to many of the city's attractions but away from the concentration of nightlife. The staff are a credit to the establishment, very welcoming and very good local recommendations for restaurants and activities. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The complimentary shower gel, conditioner, and hand wash are by Rituals and are of a very high quality.

I struggle to find any room for improvement with this hotel. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the complimentary slippers did not fit, I did not ask them to source larger slippers, as it was not a major concern.

This boutique hotel did not disappoint. It is has a cozy, welcoming vibe as you come in and the decor was beautiful. We were treated to a welcome drink of gin, which was on point and delicious! The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was beautiful. We had an add-on for our room, which included birthday decorations and a gift for my husband's birthday. It was well organized and a wonderful surprise for my husband. The location was conveniently close to the train station.

The basement room had a bit of a closed in feel.

Excellent location, excellent breakfast & staff service, and beautiful view from the room.

For the price I paid (4 nights for total over 1800 euros), I would expect fluffy towels (the ones in my room were very worn out). The area rug was too old and worn out - it doesn’t do justice to the beautiful view the room offers.
