Every year we visit Amsterdam to renew our honeymoon. This year we were lucky to choose NH Schiller. I must say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. ( Vivian and the rest of the team are amazing) The rooms were clean, comfortable, had all the amenities and the staff left us a great welcoming gift for our yearly honeymoon. The hotel location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay with top-notch service.

Location was perfect, just in the heart of the city, in front of major transit transportations. Room was large, very clean and silent. Breakfast was excellent. The room and stuff met all our expectations and for sure we will come back to the same hotel.

At our arrival they gave us a room between the second and third floor. After 4-5 normal stairs down, there were another 8-10 stairs down again with incredibly narrow stairs, it was impossible to reach the room while holding luggages without felling down. We went back to the reception, ask for another room, and they immediately changed our room to a beautiful room without stairs at the 4th floor. I think they shouldn't rent those two rooms of this part of the hotel

It was awesome. We stayed as a family of three, the room was huge and it was clean. The breakfast was nice and had many options everything was fresh. The location was perfect it was only a few minutes of walk to Dam Square and many other tourist attractions. There were many cafes and restaurants around the hotel. The staff was always helpful and friendly at the end they were the ones that made us feel like the amount of money we paid was worth it even after our checkout they were still trying to help us. If I ever go to Amsterdam again ,and I really hope that I do, I would stay in the very same hotel and in the very same room.

The location was excellent for easily walking to most of the major tourist sites, and right next to a tram stop. The bathrooms are modern and comfortable - the overhead rain shower was particularly wonderful after a long journey. The breakfast was really lovely, but I opted for cheaper options for most of my stay. Older European hotels can be cramped and stuffy, but not here - my room was really comfortable and lovely. Finally, the hotel overall is just really beautiful - the gorgeous art deco and art noveau details, the stained glass, the elegant lobby all made for a great experience.

I could see how the nightclub noise next door could be a problem for those who are noise-sensitive, or if much closer to that side of the hotel, but it was not a problem for me. However, being right on Rembrandtplein, the tradeoff for such a great central location is some noise.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds with good power showers. Really amazing stay and smooth check-in. The hotel is located centrally and it can get crowded and busy. It is quite the party square with a club opposite the hotel. But I must say we didn't get any noise come through with the windows closed. Was centrally located too with the Tram stop being right opposite. .

If I had one quibble it would be to have had all 3 rooms facing the square. Of the 3 rooms we booked, only room 303 looked onto the square and was more spacious than 312 and 314

It's difficult to talk for everyone as we had a group reservation and there were 7 of us, but from my experience, I had a lovely time at NH Schiller. Even though we came for work, the location was surreal. Great breakfast! A small room, which I don't mind, but always really clean and you could tell whoever cleaned my room was a very thoughtful person. A bit overpriced in my opinion but what isn't these days?

I know some of my colleagues got two beds instead of one bigger bed, as requested.

5th trip to Amsterdam since the fist time in my 20's and now I'm 54. Best hotel by far, cost as per location and quality. Wouldnt hesitate to return to this hotel. Room was on other side from square, so unaware of noise...I always pack ear plugs when travelling but hotel supplied their own. No need to use them. Can't review breakfast/meals but if they we're of same overall quality as hotel, food would therefore be quality too.

We got a room in 3rd floor and to reach our room we had to go down a floor and a half with very stip steps. We got a new room afer a night which was nice but it is annoying to deal with that in a vecation. Facilities a bit tired(shower faucet was damaged.) Overall, very suggested, it is not my first time and definitely not the last even though it is quite expensive compared to what you get in return.

Facilities can be refreshed a bit.

Check in was on time. We got two lovely rooms on the fourth floor overlooking Rembrandtplein,( One of them had a small terrace) the view is priceless!! Staff was most welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and smelled good, towels changed everyday. The hotel is in a great location minuets from known attractions in the city. Night life amazing!! several clubs/pubs/restaurants all around. All and all we where there 7 fun filled days :)

we loved the location in a lively part of town near to cafes bars and walking distance from all the tourist destinations that we had planned to see. The fact we were on the fourth floor was a bonus because we had a great view and the noise from the street was not so loud. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Pamela in particular went out of her way to help us on our first day. The breakfast room staff were also very pleasant.
