We had a problem when we arrived and because we were very tired it seemed enormous.However all the staff tried to deal with it and worked hard to get the broken door to work. As a consequence we were upgraded to a room next door to our grand daughters and that worked well. Every thing we asked about the staff were delightful and very helpful from parking the car to having a meal. Thank you. The breakfast was fantastic with a wonderful choice and the meal we had in the hotel we all thought was delicious and they left out the thing that some of us weren’t fond of which was the blue cheese so clean plates all round. All staff were very good.

Lovely hotel. Atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly staff. Staff were lovely to meet and deal with. Family room was big and spacious. The standard of cleanliness was brilliant with regular cleaning and fresh towels. Great location and 2 minutes walk from train station. Area is nice and quite and located in a quiter area of Leiden. Provided a great selection for buffet style breakfast. Something for everyone. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially travelling with children. Will definitely be making a return visit. Hotel were very accomodating with an earlier check in when we arrived and were extremely helpful booking taxis and arranging breakfast for an extrely early check out when we needed.

The check in process was very smooth and the room was much more spacious than I expected. The service was good and the room was kept in a good condition throughout my stay. I checked out early at 5.30 am but the train was only at 6.00am so the staff kindly suggested that I remain nice and warm in the lobby before making my way to the station. A very nice gesture which I very much appreciated.

Given that I do not use a radiator where I am from and it was late autumn/early winter when I stayed, I would have appreciated some information on how to use the radiator, which I found online on my own.

The breakfast was nice. The view was good. The room was big enough. All stuff was always very helpful.

There was a continuous noise coming from the fan in the bathroom. Normally it must switch off when we switch off the light of the bathroom. On the other hand beneath of the beds was never cleaning. After ten days a pile of dust accumulated in there.

The location - it's awesome. Two steps to the right and you're at the station, two steps to the left and you've got the beautiful canal and the city. It's such a useful location and I'm so happy I booked it. The staff are nice, and the rooms have everything you'd need - some amenities, enough storage, both vertical and horizontal.

I spose the look isn't something everyone would love, since it looks quite old fashioned, but that's a matter of taste. Also, the shower didn't have a door so the floor in the bathroom was always wet.

Nearness to central station, pretty close to old town , spacious family room with nice wide windows, spacious bathroom, cozy well furnished common areas with a small play corner for kids, great dinner at the Rubens restaurant. Can highly recommend staying in this hotel to explore the Bollenstreek tulip fields and Keukenhoff.

No mini fridge in room, wobbly mattress (though it did not interfere with my sleep)

Very clean, 5 mins walk into old Leiden, opposite central rail station and bus station. Breakfast buffet very good, cycle securely stored for us.

Nothing really, a bit noisy from traffic outside and we were on the 4 th floor but not really a problem. What do you expect opp rail & bus station and based on main road. Not the hotels fault. would go thee again so no big issue.

Everything went well. Great reception on arrival; quick and efficiently handled. Location - just 150m from the station, walking distance to old-town, comfortable rooms ideal for a short stay and nice breakfast. The nhotel exceeded all my expectations.

There always seemed to be a lack of seating at the bar in the evening. It proves that the bar was popular, though.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and the main cultural and shopping area of Leiden. It's a very walkable location.

Our room was large but somewhat dated. Good coffee and tea service in the room but a small refrigerator would have made it a bit nicer since we were there for four nights.

We had a really lovely stay at the Tulip Inn for our anniversary. The room was extremely clean and beautiful, and the staff were really lovely. The location is amazing - just a 2-minute walk from the train station, and a 5-minute walk from the centre of Leiden.

The only problem was that the air-conditioning was not working in our room, so it was a bit too warm for our liking. However, the staff were very helpful and gave us two Dyson cooling fans to use, which helped a lot.
